Hayes was diagnosed with a bruised right hand after exiting Sunday's 4-3 win in the eighth inning, Mike Persak of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports. He went 1-for-3 with a run before leaving the game.

Wilmer Difo came on to replace Hayes, who hurt his hand at some point earlier in the contest. Fortunately for Hayes, the contusion isn't related to the left hand injury that cost him two months earlier this season, and X-rays conducted after he exited the game have already returned negative. Assuming Hayes isn't experiencing too much soreness or swelling coming out of Monday's off day, he should could rejoin the lineup Tuesday versus the White Sox.

Hayes was removed in the top of the eighth inning of Sunday's game against the Cardinals with right hand discomfort, Mike Persak of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports. He went 1-for-3 with a run before departing.

Hayes previously missed two months early in the season with a left wrist issue, but it was his other hand that nagged him Sunday. The Pirates are likely hoping that with the benefit of a team off day Monday, Hayes will be ready to return to action Tuesday against the White Sox.

Chapman went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a win over the Yankees on Saturday.

The third baseman's 403-foot shot to center field in the fourth inning proved to be the difference in the contest after Aaron Judge got the Yankees to within one with a two-run blast of his own in the ninth. Chapman has now homered twice in the past three games, and he's left the yard a total of seven times in August while posting an impressive .273/.407/.606 slash line across 81 plate appearances (21 games).

McMahon is out of the lineup Sunday against the Dodgers.

McMahon is 1-for-17 with a homer and three RBI in his last five appearances, and he'll head to the bench for Sunday's contest. Rio Ruiz will start at the hot corner for the Rockies in his place.

Moncada is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cubs.

Moncada will take a seat for the series finale after he went 2-for-4 in Saturday's 7-0 loss, extending his hitting streak to a season-high 14 games in the process. Jake Lamb will step in at third base for Moncada, who is slashing .258/.359/.360 with two home runs and a stolen base in August.

The Phillies recalled Maton from Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Sunday.

Philadelphia will bring up Maton from the minors to give the team an extra body in the infield after Didi Gregorius was placed on the paternity list Sunday. Freddy Galvis will step in at shortstop for Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks and will likely serve as the primary option at the position while Gregorius is away from the team for up to the next three days, so Maton will presumably be limited to a bench role.

Duffy will start at second base and batting fifth in Sunday's game against the White Sox.

Duffy is starting at the keystone for the third straight game and this figures to be the norm for a while, with David Bote (ankle) landing on the injured list Saturday. Duffy hasn't done a ton at the plate this year with a .640 OPS and one home run in 69 games, but the uptick in playing time at least gives him a little boost in fantasy value.

Urias is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rays.

Now that fellow infielder Jorge Mateo is healthy again after recently missing three games with lower-back and left hip soreness before returning to the lineup Saturday, the Orioles can afford to give Urias a day off. The 27-year-old had started in each of Baltimore's last 13 games, a span in which he hit .304 with two home runs, nine RBI and seven runs.

Moncada went 2-for-4 in Saturday's 7-0 loss to the Cubs.

Moncada was the lone highlight for the White Sox, collecting two of the four hits the team mustered. He extended his hitting streak to 14 games and is 19-for-53 (.358) with an .895 OPS during that stretch.

Segura went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and a second run scored in Saturday's 7-0 win over Arizona.

He went back-to-back with Odubel Herrera in the third inning against Humberto Mejia. Segura has racked up three straight multi-hit efforts during which he's also notched at least one RBI and one run, going deep twice in that stretch. That surge has pushed his slash line on the year back up to .295/.356/.443 with 10 homers, nine steals, 45 RBI and 58 runs through 101 contests.
