  • Alex Bregman 3B | CHC

Astros' Alex Bregman: Knocks in pair Thursday

Bregman went 3-for-4 with a double, two RBI and a walk in Thursday's 8-4 win over Oakland.

The third baseman knocked in Jose Altuve with a third-inning single and then did it again in the seventh with a double. Bregman continues to thrive in the heart of Houston's order -- he's gone 9-for-18 (.500) with five RBI and six runs scored in the last five games. Overall, he's posted a .324/.404/.486 slash line with five home runs, 24 RBI and 26 runs scored in 37 contests.

  • Jean Segura 3B | CLE

Phillies' Jean Segura: Getting Thursday off

Segura is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Marlins.

Segura will take a seat for the first time since he was activated from the 10-day injured list May 7. In his first 11 games back from a strained right quadriceps, Segura has slashed .292/.333/.438 with a home run, five runs and four RBI. Brad Miller will fill in for him at second base.

  • Brett Baty 3B | NYM

Mets' Brett Baty: Seeing ball well early

Baty went 4-for-5 with a double, four RBI and two runs Wednesday in High-A Brooklyn's 14-0 win over Hudson Valley.

Through 11 games at High-A, the 2019 first-round pick already has six multi-hit outings on his ledger. He's sitting on a .425 average for the season, but the 21-year-old hasn't tapped into much power yet. Baty is still searching for his first home run, and all but five of his 17 hits have been singles.

  • Gio Urshela 3B | MIN

Yankees' Gio Urshela: Not starting Thursday

Urshela isn't starting Thursday's game against the Rangers.

Urshela went hitless with two strikeouts in four at-bats during Wednesday's win over the Rangers. DJ LeMahieu will shift to third base while Rougned Odor starts at the keystone.

  • Mike Moustakas 3B | CHW

Reds' Mike Moustakas: Hoping for minimum stay

The Reds hope Moustakas (heel) won't need to spend more than the minimum 10 days on the injured list, Bobby Nightengale of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Moustakas left Friday's game against the Rockies with a bruised heel and remained out of the lineup since then, though he did appear twice off the bench, most recently on Tuesday. That means his move to the injured list can only be backdated by one day, but it looks as though he has a good chance to return when first eligible May 29 against the Cubs.

  • Nick Senzel 3B | LAD

Reds' Nick Senzel: Remains out Thursday

Senzel (knee) is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Giants.

A sore knee will relegate Senzel to a bench role for the third straight game, but he's expected to return to the lineup Friday, Bobby Nightengale of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports. With Senzel out, the Reds will roll out an outfield of Jesse Winker, Tyler Naquin and Nick Castellanos from left to right, while rookie Jonathan India picks up another start at the keystone.

  • Mike Moustakas 3B | CHW

Reds' Mike Moustakas: Lands on IL with bruised heel

The Reds placed Moustakas on the 10-day injured list Thursday with a right heel contusion.

Moustakas had been out of the lineup for the last five games with the heel injury and apparently wasn't progressing as quickly as expected, so the Reds will shut him down for another week with the hope the extra rest helps resolve the issue. Infielder Max Schrock was recalled from Triple-A Louisville in a corresponding move, but Moustakas' absence should continue to open up regular starts for Kyle Farmer at either shortstop or third base.

  • Jose Ramirez 3B | CLE

Indians' Jose Ramirez: Notches two steals Wednesday

Ramirez went 1-for-3 with a walk, two stolen bases and two runs scored in Wednesday's 3-2 win over the Angels.

Ramirez reached base in the first and sixth and successfully stole both times he got on. The 28-year-old is riding a five-game hitting streak and is now up to six stolen bases on the year. He continues to be one of Cleveland's most productive players on offense, slashing .265/.353/.578 with 12 home runs, 25 RBI and 29 runs scored.

  • Yoan Moncada 3B | LAA

White Sox's Yoan Moncada: Hit streak reaches nine games

Moncada went 1-for-2 with two walks in Wednesday's 2-1 win over Minnesota.

Moncada extended his hitting streak to nine games, during which he's 11-for-27 with a 1.135 OPS. He's also drawn at least one walk in eight straight, getting a free pass to first base 11 times and raising his OBP to .407.

  • Max Muncy 3B | LAD

Dodgers' Max Muncy: Notches first steal

Muncy went 2-for-3 with a hit-by-pitch, a stolen base and a run in a 4-2 victory over the Diamondbacks on Wednesday.

Muncy has been an on-base machine this season, registering a .443 on-base percentage (second in MLB) thanks in large part to a league-leading 38 walks. His stolen base Wednesday was a nice surprise for fantasy managers who roster him, as it was only his second successful swipe since 2019.
