Duffy (hamstring) started at shortstop in High-A Charlotte's loss to Clearwater on Saturday and went 0-for-2 with a walk.

Duffy is now hitting just .083 in his rehab assignment despite the low level of competition, but of overriding importance is that he's remained free of setbacks. The fact he played shortstop Saturday hints at the possibility he might see time there at the big-league level when he returns if Willy Adames and Daniel Robertson continue to underperform, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Escobar went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 8-5 loss to the Giants.

Escobar now has 10 homers, 31 RBI, 28 runs, and a .289 average on the season. The infielder is on a six-game hitting streak, going 9-for-27 with three homers and 10 RBI in that span.

Longoria (illness) went 1-for-3 with an RBI single and two walks in Saturday's 8-5 win over the Diamondbacks.

Longoria missed two games with a stomach bug but was able to play the full nine innings Saturday. The third baseman provided the RBI in the first inning and then scored a run in the sixth inning on a triple by Brandon Crawford. Longoria is hitting .230 with 17 runs and 16 RBI in 39 games this season.

Moustakas went 1-for-5 with a run and stolen base in a 4-3 loss to the Braves on Saturday.

This was the veteran infielder's first swiped bag since May 6. He has three steals this season, but for a guy who isn't known for speed who also has 11 home runs, that's not bad at all, and he hasn't been caught stealing yet this year. He is hitting .262 with 23 extra-base hits, 29 RBI and 27 runs in 164 at-bats.

Riley went 2-for-3 with a two-run homer in a 4-3 victory over the Brewers on Saturday.

The magical start to Riley's MLB career continued Saturday night. He singled in the second inning and then the Braves took the lead on his homer during the sixth. It's still a small sample size, but Riley is 8-for-15 (.533) with three extra-base hits -- including two home runs -- to begin his MLB career.

Longoria (illness) is starting at third base and batting fifth Saturday at Arizona, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Longoria was absent from Friday's lineup due to a stomach bug but was able to make a quick return to action Saturday. The 33-year-old is slashing .281/.361/.594 with three home runs in 32 at-bats since the start of May.

Davis is not in the lineup Saturday against the Marlins.

Davis appeared to be moving back ahead of Todd Frazier in the pecking order at third base, starting five out of six games, but Frazier has since gotten the call in two straight contests. Davis could have some opportunities in the outfield in the near future with Michael Conforto out with a concussion, but that opportunity won't come Saturday.

Donaldson went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Friday's win over the Brewers.

The veteran third baseman went deep as part of a nine-run sixth inning by Atlanta. Donaldson is slashing .259/.377/.483 through 42 games with seven homers and 21 RBI, and while Austin Riley could be a threat to his playing time down the road if the youngster gets squeezed out of left field, Donaldson figures to remain a regular part of the lineup as long as he's healthy.

Davis went 1-for-2 with a two-run homer in Friday's loss to the Marlins.

Davis entered the game in the sixth inning and took over in left field as part of a double switch for Jacob deGrom and then took Trevor Richards deep in the seventh to chase the Miami starter from the game for his fourth home run of the year. He could see extra outfield opportunities while Michael Conforto (concussion) and Jeff McNeil (abdomen) are on the shelf, but he's been seeing regular action at third base lately anyway, although he hasn't been doing much with it. Davis is hitting .235 (8-for-34) in May with a 0:10 BB:K, and Friday's homer was his first since April 14.

Moncada went 2-for-4 with an RBI in Friday's 10-2 loss to the Blue Jays.

Moncada was part of the White Sox's lone rally when they plated two in the third inning after Toronto jumped out to a 7-0 lead. The soon-to-be 23-year-old is up to 29 RBI through 42 games, a much better pace than 2018, when he didn't drive in his 29th run until the 69th game June 24. Part of that is due to the team taking him out of the leadoff spot where RBI opportunities aren't as plentiful, but the major reason for his increased run production is that he's been swinging at hittable pitches that he let pass by last season. He's averaged 3.85 pitches per plate appearance this season, down from 4.11 last year, while making more consistent contact when swinging.
