Miles Mastrobuoni 3B | SEA
Mariners' Miles Mastrobuoni: Moved to 60-day IL
Seattle transferred Mastrobuoni (calf) from the 10-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Monday.
Mastrobuoni had been in the midst of a rehab assignment with Triple-A Tacoma and appeared to be on the cusp of a return from the 10-day IL, but his move to the 60-day IL likely indicates that he suffered some sort of setback over the weekend. As a result of the transaction, Mastrobuoni now won't be eligible to make his 2026 debut with the Mariners until the final week of May, though an exact timeline for his activation is unclear. The utility player initially suffered the right calf strain in March while playing for Team Italy in the World Baseball Classic.

Coby Mayo 3B | BAL
Orioles' Coby Mayo: Idle after five straight starts
Mayo is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Royals, Matt Weyrich of The Baltimore Sun reports.
Mayo started each of the Orioles' previous five games but was unable to wake up from his season-long slumber at the plate, going just 2-for-16 with a double and a 2:5 BB:K. Now holding down a .148/.258/.185 slash line for the season, Mayo looks like he'll be part of a timeshare at third base with Blaze Alexander, who receives the starting nod Monday. The 24-year-old could be at risk of a demotion to Triple-A Norfolk once Jackson Holliday (wrist) is back from the injured list, as Holliday's return would likely result in the hot-hitting Jeremiah Jackson moving off second base and cutting further into Mayo's playing time at the hot corner.

TJ Rumfield 1B | COL
Rockies' TJ Rumfield: Taking seat versus lefty
Rumfield is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Dodgers.
The left-handed-hitting Rumfield was included in the lineup when the Rockies last faced a lefty starter (Colton Gordon) on Tuesday in Houston, but he'll cede first base to Troy Johnston while Colorado goes up against Dodgers southpaw Justin Wrobleski in the series opener. Rumfield has gone 2-for-11 with a pair of base hits and a 0:1 BB:K versus left-handed pitching this season.

Cam Smith RF | HOU
Astros' Cam Smith: Receiving rare day off
Smith is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Guardians, Matt Kawahara of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Smith will exit the starting nine for just the second time through the Astros' first 24 games, clearing the way for waiver pickup Dustin Harris to make his first start with Houston. Though he'll head to the bench after going hitless in each of his last four games, Smith is still holding maintaining a .764 OPS on the season, well ahead of the .670 mark that he posted during his 2025 rookie campaign.

Spencer Torkelson 1B | DET
Colt Keith 3B | DET
Tigers' Spencer Torkelson: Sitting out Monday
Torkelson is absent from the lineup for Monday's game in Boston.
It's been a dreadful start to the season for Torkelson, who is slashing just .182/.333/.227 and has yet to homer. The Tigers will roll with Colt Keith at first base Monday while Torkelson gets a breather.

Jose Ramirez 3B | CLE
Trevor Rogers SP | BAL
Guardians' Jose Ramirez: Homers twice Sunday
Ramirez went 2-for-4 with two solo home runs in Sunday's 8-4 win over the Orioles.
Ramirez provided the power surge for Cleveland, taking Trevor Rogers deep twice with a pair of solo shots, including one on the first pitch of the fourth inning. The performance continues a strong stretch at the plate, as he's now homered four times over his last nine games while stealing eight bases and posting a 1.413 OPS in that span. The veteran is also closing in on history, sitting at 291 career homers and 297 stolen bases -- putting him on the verge of becoming just the ninth player in MLB history to reach 300 in both categories.

Trevor Rogers SP | BAL
Jose Ramirez 3B | CLE
Orioles' Trevor Rogers: Hit hard during loss
Rogers (2-2) took the loss Sunday against the Guardians, allowing six runs (five earned) on six hits and two walks while striking out five over five innings.
Rogers ran into trouble in the middle innings, as four of his six runs came in the fourth, highlighted by a first-pitch homer from Jose Ramirez, who went on to leave the yard again an inning later. The southpaw also contributed to his own issues defensively in the third, missing the bag on a play at first that allowed an unearned run to score later. Sunday marks back-to-back starts in which Rogers has allowed four or more earned runs, a step back after his strong start to the season. The 28-year-old now holds a 4.08 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 25:8 K:BB across 28.2 innings and is scheduled to face Boston in his next outing.

Curtis Mead 1B | WAS
Nationals' Curtis Mead: Goes yard Sunday
Mead went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 3-0 win over the Giants.
Mead delivered the game's biggest swing, launching a two-run homer off Robbie Ray in the fifth inning to extend Washington's lead. The long ball was his second of the season. Entering Sunday, Mead had been in a slump, going just 2-for-20 over his previous eight games, making this a much-needed breakthrough. The 25-year-old is now slashing .205/.271/.409 with seven RBI and two stolen bases across 48 plate appearances.

Kyle Karros 3B | COL
Rockies' Kyle Karros: Hits first homer of season
Karros went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, an additional run scored and a walk in Sunday's 9-6 win over the Dodgers.
Karros blasted his first homer of 2026, turning on a Roki Sasaki fastball and sending it 448 feet into the left-field bleachers in the fifth inning. In addition to being his first long ball, it marked the third baseman's first extra-base hit since March 29, when he doubled against the Marlins. With just a .633 OPS through 22 games, Karros will look to build on this performance and find his stride at the plate.

Kazuma Okamoto 3B | TOR
Blue Jays' Kazuma Okamoto: Drives in three in win
Okamoto went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a double, a walk, three RBI and two runs scored in Sunday's 10-4 win over the Diamondbacks.
This was Okamoto's third multi-hit effort in his last six games, though he's also gone hitless six times over his last nine contests. The third baseman started the year with a six-game hitting streak, but that consistency has faded a bit. He's batting .221 with a .658 OPS, three homers, two doubles, eight RBI, seven runs scored and no stolen bases across his first 20 major-league contests. He was brought in as a power bat to fill a starting role at third base, and he's done that decently well so far, though his 8:29 BB:K is a notable concern in regards to plate discipline.
