Orioles' Jordan Westburg: Moves up to leadoff spot
Westburg will start at third base and bat leadoff in Wednesday's game versus the Blue Jays.
Westburg will occupy the top spot in the batting order for the first time in his big-league career. Normal leadoff man Gunnar Henderson will shift down to the cleanup spot while Toronto brings in left-hander Yusei Kikuchi.

Yoan Moncada 3B | LAA
White Sox's Yoan Moncada: Hitting from both sides of plate
Moncada (thigh) has resumed baseball activity for roughly the last week, MLB.com reports.
Moncada has been swinging from the right side since early May, and he swung left-handed for the first time Monday. He's also been doing some fielding drills and is recovering well from the activity. It's projected that Moncada won't be back until after the All-Star break, though it's possible he will beat that timeline if he continues to have positive results while ramping up.

Ryan McMahon 3B | NYY
Rockies' Ryan McMahon: Goes yard in Tuesday's win
McMahon went 2-for-3 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Padres.
McMahon got the scoring going for the Rockies with a solo blast to right center off Dylan Cease in the fourth. It was his second home run this month and his first since May 3. He's now rocking a four-game hit streak with multiple hits in two of those while only striking out once over that span. McMahon has been one of the most consistent hitters in their lineup so far this year, slashing .308/.389/.481 with six homers, 22 RBI, 18 runs and a 22:50 BB:K in 180 plate appearances.

Danny Mendick 3B | CHW
White Sox's Danny Mendick: Hitless in first rehab game
Mendick (back) went 0-for-5 with a walk in his first rehab game Tuesday with Triple-A Charlotte.
Mendick served as Charlotte's designated hitter, so he'll presumably need to resume playing the infield at some point during his rehab assignment before the White Sox bring him back from the 10-day injured list, perhaps as soon as this weekend. Following his promotion from Charlotte on April 22, Mendick had briefly settled into a near-everyday role at third base, but it's unclear if he'll recapture a regular starting gig once activated. Prospect Bryan Ramos (quadricep) has since settled in as Chicago's third baseman, and the organization could be inclined to let him continue playing regularly.

Trey Lipscomb 3B | WAS
Nationals' Trey Lipscomb: Runs wild in matinee
Lipscomb went 3-for-3 with a walk, a run scored, an RBI and three stolen bases in a 6-3 win over the White Sox during the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader.
The Nationals didn't record a single extra-base hit in the matinee, but Lipscomb had no problem getting himself into scoring position -- in addition to his 3-for-3 performance on the basepaths, he advanced to second base on a disengagement violation when he induced Chris Flexen to attempt a third pickoff in the second inning. After going 1-for-4 in the nightcap, Lipscomb is slashing .260/.339/.298 through his first 32 big-league games with one homer, 10 steals, nine RBI and 16 runs.

Maikel Garcia 3B | KC
Royals' Maikel Garcia: Nabs 10th steal
Garcia went 1-for-4 with one RBI and a stolen base in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Mariners.
Garcia plated an insurance run with his eighth-inning single, and he swiped second shortly after the hit. The third baseman has two steals over the last three games and 10 thefts on the year. He's hit better in May, going 14-for-55 (.254) over 13 contests to lift his season slash line to .239/.288/.369 with four home runs, 25 RBI and 20 runs scored over 192 plate appearances.

Alex Bregman 3B | CHC
Astros' Alex Bregman: Goes deep again Tuesday
Bregman went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a double in Tuesday's 2-1 extra-inning win over the Athletics.
Bregman entered the Oakland series with one homer on the year, but he's hit three long balls and added two doubles over his last two games. The third baseman has gone 10-for-24 (.417) during a six-game hitting streak, though he's still got a long way to go to get his season-long numbers at an acceptable level. Bregman is slashing .225/.293/.358 with four homers, 18 RBI, 12 runs scored, eight doubles and two stolen bases over 39 contests.

Brett Harris 3B | ATH
Athletics' Brett Harris: Taking seat Tuesday
Harris is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game at Houston, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.
Harris started all 11 games at third base since being promoted by Oakland on May 3, and he'll receive a day off after he posted a .147/.333/.412 slash line in that stretch. Abraham Toro will man the hot corner while Zack Gelof (oblique) returns from the injured list to start at second base.
-
Bryan Ramos 3B | BAL
White Sox's Bryan Ramos: Exits with quad injury
Ramos was removed from the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader with the Nationals due to left quadricep tightness. He went 1-for-2 with a run scored prior to exiting the contest.
Ramos may have tweaked his quad while running from first to third base during the fifth inning, leading to his eventual removal in the seventh. The severity of his injury isn't immediately clear, though the White Sox may provide more details following Tuesday's twin bill.

Mark Vientos DH | NYM
Mets' Mark Vientos: Promotion imminent
The Mets will recall Vientos from Triple-A Syracuse on Wednesday, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.
Vientos has slashed .233/.343/.400 across 35 plate appearances since being sent down to Triple-A on April 30, and he will now return to New York -- presumably forming a platoon at third base with Brett Baty. Vientos went 3-for-7 with a two-run homer during his first stint in the majors.
