Eugenio Suarez 3B | CIN
Mariners' Eugenio Suarez: Homers in loss
Suarez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 3-1 loss to the Mets.
Suarez supplied Seattle's only run with a 412-foot shot off Edwin Diaz in the ninth inning. It was the 34-year-old's second home run since returning to the Mariners, and he's just 8-for-56 with seven RBI and eight runs scored over 15 games since rejoining the club July 31. For the season, he's slashing .235/.305/.540 with 38 homers, 94 RBI, 72 runs scored and three steals across 498 plate appearances between the Diamondbacks and Seattle.

Brett Baty 3B | NYM
Mets' Brett Baty: Swipes bag in win
Baty went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and a stolen base in Saturday's 3-1 win over the Mariners.
Baty singled twice and came around to score the Mets' first two runs, adding a stolen base in the seventh inning. The 25-year-old is 9-for-25 through nine August contests with three multi-hit efforts, two home runs, four RBI and seven runs scored in that span. For the season, he's slashing .239/.297/.421 with 13 homers, 38 RBI, 36 runs scored and six steals across 314 plate appearances.

Orlando Arcia SS | MIN
Rockies' Orlando Arcia: Comes off IL
The Rockies activated Arcia (elbow) off the injured list Saturday.
Arcia missed the minimum 10 games while on the IL due to right elbow inflammation. Though he's now healthy enough to return to action, he may be reduced to a part-time role given that Kyle Karros has hit well while manning the hot corner after being promoted in the wake of Arcia's IL stint. Aaron Schunk was sent down to Triple-A Albuquerque on Saturday to clear room for Arcia's return to the 26-man roster.

Alec Bohm 3B | PHI
Phillies' Alec Bohm: Slated for Sunday activation
Bohm (ribs) is expected to be activated from the 10-day injured list ahead of Sunday's game against the Nationals, Charlotte Varnes of The Athletic reports.
Bohm started a rehab assignment last week and played in five games, going 3-for-21 (.143) with a homer and a triple. The third baseman is feeling well enough to rejoin the active roster for Sunday's series finale against Washington. His return will likely mean fewer at-bats for Edmundo Sosa and Otto Kemp.

Jose Caballero 2B | NYY
Yankees' Jose Caballero: Starts Friday, swipes two bags
Caballero went 2-for-3 with a walk and two stolen bases in Friday's 4-3 win against the Cardinals.
Caballero got a rare start Friday, batting ninth and playing right field while the red-hot Giancarlo Stanton got the day off. It was just the third time Caballero has started a contest since he joined the Yankees via a trade with Tampa Bay on July 31. The speedy utility man certainly took advantage of the opportunity by reaching three times Friday and swiping two bases, moving him back alone atop the MLB leaderboard with 37 thefts on the campaign. Despite that impressive total, Caballero has just a .643 OPS on the season, and it's difficult to see him getting more playing time in New York unless an injury or two creates an opening.

Addison Barger SS | TOR
Blue Jays' Addison Barger: On bench Saturday
Barger isn't part of the starting nine for Saturday's game against the Rangers.
Barger will dodge a same-hand matchup against southpaw Patrick Corbin, stepping aside for Myles Straw to play right field and Ernie Clement to play third base. Barger had started in three of Toronto's last five games against left-handed starters.

Junior Caminero 3B | TB
Rays' Junior Caminero: Keeps rolling with homer
Caminero went 1-for-4 with a solo home run, a walk and a second run scored in Friday's 7-6 win over the Giants.
Caminero has pummeled the ball in August -- this was his eighth homer in 13 games this month. He's up to 35 long balls on the year, which ranks sixth in the majors. The third baseman is up to a .261/.301/.536 slash line with 85 RBI, 72 runs scored, 21 doubles and five stolen bases across 117 contests as he continues to enjoy a breakout campaign.

Matt Chapman 3B | SF
Giants' Matt Chapman: Lands on injured list
The Giants placed Chapman on the 10-day injured list Friday, retroactive to Wednesday, with right hand inflammation, Justice delos Santos of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
Chapman's hand prevented him from playing in Wednesday's game against the Padres, and after further evaluation, the Giants determined the 32-year-old will need to remain out until at least next weekend. Casey Schmitt will likely shift to the hot corner while Chapman is sidelined, creating an opening for Christian Koss to take over as San Francisco's second baseman.

Max Muncy 3B | LAD
Dodgers' Max Muncy: Lands on injured list
The Dodgers placed Muncy on the 10-day injured list Friday with a right oblique strain, Sonja Chen of MLB.com reports.
Manager Dave Roberts said Muncy's injury will force him to miss more than the 10-day minimum, though the team still expects him to return before the end of the regular season. Alex Freeland will presumably move to third base until Muncy returns, opening second base for Miguel Rojas, and the Dodgers claimed Buddy Kennedy off waivers from Toronto on Friday to replenish their bench depth.

Luis Rengifo 2B | MIL
Angels' Luis Rengifo: Not starting Friday
Rengifo is not in the Angels' starting lineup against the Athletics on Friday.
Rengifo will be on the bench for the start of Friday's contest while Christian Moore starts at the keystone and bats eighth. Rengifo has been better at the plate in the 23 games since the All-Star break with a slash line of .296/.363/.457 to go with two steals, 16 runs, three home runs and eight RBI over 91 plate appearances.
