Escobar went 1-for-3 with a walk, a triple, a run scored, an RBI and a stolen base in Sunday's loss to the Cardinals.

Getting the start at third base against left-hander Matthew Liberatore and batting eighth, Escobar collected his second three-bagger and second steal of 2023. The veteran infielder lost his starting spot at the hot corner to Brett Baty earlier in the year, but with the rookie now struggling -- Baty's slashing .219/.301/.260 over his current 22-game homer drought -- the door could be opening a crack for Escobar to reclaim a more significant role if he can put together a productive stretch at the plate.

Garcia went 3-for-4 with one double, two runs scored and one steal in Sunday's loss against the Angels.

Garcia swiped a bag for the second straight contest to improve his season total to seven in as many attempts. The infielder has been on a tear over his last 10 games, hitting 12-for-38 (.316) with six runs scored and a triple.

LeMahieu isn't starting the second game of Sunday's doubleheader against the Red Sox.

LeMahieu started Sunday's matinee and went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts. He'll get a breather while Josh Donaldson starts at the hot corner and bats fifth.

Arenado went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run and solo home run in Sunday's win over the Mets.

Arenado was 0-for-9 through the first two games of the series versus New York, but he got hot Sunday, smoking his fifth and sixth homers of June. After his first multi-homer game of the season, the slugger now has 15 long balls and 48 RBI while slashing .276/.322/.493. Arenado got off to an unusually slow start in 2023, but he's back to producing like a superstar.

McMahon went 3-for-4 with two home runs and three RBI in Sunday's 14-6 loss to Atlanta.

McMahon opened the scoring with a two-run homer off Charlie Morton in the first inning before adding a solo shot off Kirby Yates in the seventh. The 28-year-old McMahon has hit safely in 10 straight contests while batting .365 (23-for-63) with four homers in 16 games since the start of June. After getting off to a slow start this season, McMahon's extended hot streak has boosted his slash line to .278/.358/.517 with 12 homers, 41 RBI, 41 runs scored and four stolen bases through 293 plate appearances on the campaign.

Manager Dave Martinez said after Sunday's loss to the Marlins that Candelario is dealing with a bone bruise on his right thumb, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.

Candelario suffered the injury during Saturday's contest and was scratched from Sunday's lineup after initially being slated to start. Martinez indicated the club will see how the 29-year-old feels Monday before deciding the next steps.

Davis (ankle) is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Dodgers, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Davis hasn't been in San Francisco's starting nine since Tuesday due to a low-grade ankle sprain, though he came off the bench Saturday and went 2-for-3 with a grand slam and an additional RBI. The 30-year-old is apparently still a bit banged up since he's sitting Sunday, but he should be able to rejoin the lineup within the next couple days.

Orioles manager Brandon Hyde told reporters Sunday that Henderson was scratched from the lineup due to a stomach flu that is going through the clubhouse.

Henderson was slated to lead off against the Cubs on Sunday, but the rookie infielder was a late scratch from the lineup due to the illness. The Orioles have an off-day Monday before facing the Rays in Tampa Bay on Tuesday, and Henderson should be considered day-to-day for that upcoming contest.

Bride is absent from the starting lineup for Sunday's game versus the Phillies.

Bride's struggled mightily at the plate as of late, and a .308 average June 9 has dropped to .209 after Bride went hitless over his last five games. Jace Peterson is playing third base and batting second against Philadelphia on Sunday while Tony Kemp gets a start at second base and hits seventh.

Hayes is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Brewers.

Hayes had a hot start to April with 17 hits, including six extra-base hits, in the first seven games of the month, but he's gone just 5-for-28 over the past seven contests.. Rodolfo Castro will take over at the hot corner for the series finale in Milwaukee.
