Angels' Logan O'Hoppe: Leaves with shoulder injury
O'Hoppe was pulled from Thursday's game against the Yankees after appearing to injure his left shoulder, Sarah Valenzuela of the Los Angeles Times reports.
O'Hoppe immediately grabbed at his upper left arm after getting spun around on a pitch in the top of the ninth inning. He managed to make contact for a single and scampered to first base before jogging off the field with a look of deep frustration. The 23-year-old catcher finished 3-for-4 with two RBI on the day and boasts an .886 OPS through 59 plate appearances this season with the Angels.

Jonah Heim C | ATL
Rangers' Jonah Heim: Powers up in win
Heim went 3-for-4 with a walk, a three-run home run and two additional runs scored in Wednesday's 12-3 win over the Royals.
Heim delivered the finishing blows to Kansas City with a three-run blast in the ninth inning that travelled 429 feet. It was the third homer of the season for the catcher, who has a .941 OPS and has knocked in 11 runs through 13 games. With Mitch Garver's knee injury expected to keep him out through the beginning of May, Heim becomes the primary catcher, with Sandy Leon backing him up. Heim has started eight of the last 10 games.

Connor Wong C | BOS
Red Sox's Connor Wong: On bench Wednesday
Wong is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Twins, Ian Browne of MLB.com reports.
Reese McGuire's inability to control the running game early on in the season has allowed Wong to emerge as Boston's No. 1 catcher, but the latter's job security may be starting to loosen. In his last start behind the dish in Monday's loss to the Angels, McGuire threw out the lone would-be base stealer on the day (Shohei Ohtani), and the backstop also went 1-for-2 with two RBI and a run. McGuire enters Wednesday with a 372-point edge over Wong in OPS for the season, and the upgrade McGuire offers with the bat may be enough for him to eventually usurp Wong atop the depth chart.

Logan O'Hoppe C | LAA
Angels' Logan O'Hoppe: Gets rest Wednesday
O'Hoppe is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Angels, Sarah Valenzuela of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Matt Thaiss will get the starting nod behind the dish while O'Hoppe sits for just the fourth time through the Angels' first 18 games of the season. So long as Max Stassi (hip) remains on the injured list, O'Hoppe should continue to dominate the starts at catcher.

Christian Vazquez C | HOU
Twins' Christian Vazquez: Sitting out Wednesday
Vazquez is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Red Sox.
Vazquez appears to be receiving a routine day off after he started each of the past three games. Ryan Jeffers will catch for starting pitcher Joe Ryan on Wednesday.

Cal Raleigh C | SEA
Mariners' Cal Raleigh: Out of lineup Wednesday
Raleigh is out of the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Brewers, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.
Raleigh takes a seat after going 2-for-5 with a two-run double in the 11-inning loss to the Brewers on Tuesday. Tom Murphy is starting behind the plate against southpaw Eric Lauer and the Brewers and will hit seventh.

Francisco Mejia C | TB
Rays' Francisco Mejia: Four hits in win
Mejia went 4-for-5 with a double, an RBI and a run scored in Tuesday's victory over the Reds.
Mejia was locked in despite not playing in the Rays' last two games. The 27-year-old catcher has been solid in limited playing time, slashing .276/.353/.345 with four RBI and eight runs scored in 29 at-bats. Still, Mejia won't likely offer much value for fantasy purposes while splitting duties behind the plate with Christian Bethancourt.

Cal Raleigh C | SEA
Mariners' Cal Raleigh: Drives in two runs
Raleigh went 2-for-5 with a double, two RBI and a run scored during Tuesday's 6-5 loss against Milwaukee.
Raleigh delivered his fourth multi-hit effort of the season and also extended his on-base streak to six games. The 26-year-old has mostly hit out of the cleanup spot through the first few weeks of the season and has a .241/.333/.431 slash line with two home runs, five doubles, 12 RBI and seven runs in 16 games.
