Miguel Amaya C | CHC
Cubs' Miguel Amaya: Resting Wednesday
Amaya is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Brewers.
Amaya will hit the bench after he had started at catcher in three of the past four games while going 5-for-8 with two walks and a run during that stretch. Tomas Nido will spell Amaya behind the dish Wednesday.

Garrett Stubbs C | PHI
Phillies' Garrett Stubbs: Losing work to Realmuto
Stubbs will start at catcher and bat eighth in Wednesday's game against the Twins.
Though he's included in the lineup for the series finale in Minnesota, Stubbs has moved back into the No. 2 role at catcher after JT Realmuto was reinstated from the injured list Saturday. Realmuto has been on the bench twice in the Phillies' five contests since his activation, but both of his absences came in day games after night games.

J.T. Realmuto C | PHI
Phillies' J.T. Realmuto: Hitting bench for series finale
Realmuto is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Twins.
Garrett Stubbs will draw the start behind the plate while Realmuto receives a breather for the day game after catching all nine innings of Tuesday's 3-0 win. Since being activated from the injured list Saturday, Realmuto has gone 2-for-9 with three walks and a run over his three starts.

Gabriel Moreno C | ARI
Diamondbacks' Gabriel Moreno: Plates two in win
Moreno went 1-for-4 with two RBI in Tuesday's 6-2 win over the Royals.
Moreno plated two runners in scoring position with a two-out, first-inning single. He's rolling since coming back from a thumb injury earlier this month, slashing .315/.422/.444 with nine walks, a home run, nine RBI and seven runs scored over 16 contests since returning.

Elias Diaz C | SD
Rockies' Elias Diaz: Back in lineup
Diaz (calf) will start at catcher and bat sixth Tuesday against the Red Sox.
Calf soreness has kept Diaz out of Colorado's last two games, but he's feeling well enough to return behind the dish for Tuesday's contest. The 33-year-old backstop has slashed .184/.245/.204 with two RBI in 53 plate appearances since the beginning of July.

Tomas Nido C | DET
Cubs' Tomas Nido: Idle Tuesday
Nido isn't in the Cubs' lineup Tuesday versus the Brewers.
While Nido and Miguel Amaya have been splitting time behind the plate recently, Tuesday's game will be the second consecutive one on the bench for Nido, his first set of consecutive absences since June 25-26. Amaya is batting eighth Tuesday after going 1-for-3 with two walks in Monday's 3-1 win over the Brewers.

Sean Murphy C | ATL
Braves' Sean Murphy: Idle Tuesday
Murphy is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Reds.
Murphy is hitless in his last 13 at-bats but has more walks (three) than strikeouts (two) during that stretch. Travis d'Arnaud will catch and bat cleanup Tuesday.
-
Joey Bart C | PIT
Pirates' Joey Bart: Resting Tuesday
Bart is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Cardinals, Andrew Destin of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
Bart will yield to Yasmani Grandal behind the plate Tuesday after catching back-to-back games. Prior to the All-Star break, Bart seemed to supplant Grandal as the Pirates' preferred catcher, and he's caught three of Pittsburgh's first five contests coming out of the break.

Nick Fortes C | TB
Marlins' Nick Fortes: Sitting again
Fortes is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Orioles.
Fortes will be on the bench for a second consecutive game after committing three errors Sunday. Ali Sanchez will bat ninth and catch Tuesday.
