Diaz is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rangers, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

Diaz will sit after a run of eight straight starts, during which he went 8-for-30 (.267) with two doubles, three homers and a stolen base. Victor Caratini will do the catching Sunday while Isaac Paredes serves as the designated hitter.

Heim is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Astros.

Heim had started the previous 16 games and wasn't productive at the plate during that stretch with a .203/.261/.313 slash line. Kyle Higashioka will replace Heim behind the dish Sunday.

Goodman is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Reds.

Goodman started the first two games of the series in Cincinnati and will take a seat Sunday after going 1-for-6 with two walks, a triple and a run. Austin Nola will step in behind the plate to catch Austin Gomber for the final game before the All-Star break.

Jansen is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Red Sox, Ryan Bass of FanDuel Sports Network Sun reports.

Matt Thaiss will step in behind the plate while Jansen rests after starting at catcher in the Rays' previous two contests. Unless he's used off the bench Sunday, Jansen will wrap up Tampa Bay's first-half slate with a .207 average, nine home runs, 27 RBI and 24 runs over 66 games.

Stallings is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Marlins.

Alex Jackson will handle catching duties for Baltimore after Stallings started behind the plate the last two contests and five of the previous six. Stallings will likely continue to operate as the Orioles' No. 1 catcher until the team gets one of Adley Rutschman (oblique) or Gary Sanchez (knee) back, with Chadwick Tromp (back) and Maverick Handley (concussion) also currently on the injured list.

Narvaez is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rays.

Narvaez will get a breather for the Red Sox's final contest before the All-Star break after he started behind the plate each of the previous three games. Connor Wong will get the nod at catcher. Narvaez will close out the first half with a .273 batting average, eight home runs, one stolen base, 31 RBI and 38 runs over 73 games.

Bailey went 1-for-3 with a run scored in Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Dodgers.

Bailey singled on a line drive to right field in the eighth inning before coming around to score the Giants' only run. The 26-year-old catcher has recorded at least one hit in four of his last six games, slashing .316/.350/.526 with four runs scored, three RBI and a home run across 20 plate appearances during that span. Overall, he owns a .202/.267/.298 slash line with 26 RBI, 24 runs scored and two homers in 246 plate appearances this season.

Teel went 1-for-4 with two RBI on Saturday against the Guardians.

Teel entered Saturday's game having gone hitless across his last 17 at-bats, though he had struck out at a moderate 24 percent clip in that span. He broke out of the slump with a two-RBI single in the fourth inning of Saturday's game, bringing his RBI total to six across his first 24 MLB contests. Teel has started to sit against lefties, but he otherwise continues to get regular playing time behind the dish.

Pozo went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, an additional run scored and a double in a loss to Atlanta on Saturday.

Pozo accounted for two of St. Louis' three extra-base hits, hitting a double in the second inning and a solo homer in the sixth. He logged his first multi-hit effort since May 18, though that's largely because most of his opportunities since then have come as a pinch hitter or defensive replacement. Pozo has made the most of his opportunities throughout the campaign, slashing .312/.330/.605 with four home runs, 14 RBI and 11 runs scored over 97 plate appearances.

Murphy went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run Saturday in a 7-6 win against St. Louis.

Murphy clubbed a huge homer in the eighth inning, driving in three runs on a shot to left field to give Atlanta a one-run lead. It was the third long ball in the past two days for the veteran catcher and his seventh home run across his past 11 contests. The power surge has pushed Murphy to 16 homers and 38 RBI on the campaign, numbers more than good enough to nail down a spot atop the catching depth chart on most teams. However, talented rookie Drake Baldwin has 11 homers and 32 RBI along with an .840 OPS (slightly better than Murphy's .837 mark), so it will be interesting to see how the team divvies up playing time between the two moving forward. Murphy has started five of Atlanta's past six contests, though one of those starts came at DH, and Baldwin also logged one start at DH during that span.
