Contreras is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Brewers.

Contreras went 1-for-4 with a home run Saturday and is now hitting .206 with three home runs and seven RBI in his last 10 games. Austin Romine starts behind the dish and bats eighth Sunday.

Kirk is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Twins.

Kirk has a .983 OPS through 12 games in September but finds himself on the bench for the third consecutive contest. Danny Jansen starts Sunday and also worked behind the plate Friday, while Reese McGuire received the nod for Saturday's game.

Haase is starting in left field and batting sixth in Sunday's game against the Rays.

Haase started at catcher Friday before getting a day off Saturday, and he'll now slide over to left field with Dustin Garneau picking up the start behind the plate. Haase has struggled this month with a .171/.239/.317 slash line, though he does have 21 home runs this season and could still provide some power for fantasy managers down the stretch.

Sanchez is not in the lineup Sunday against Cleveland.

Sanchez went 2-for-4 during Saturday's game but will take a seat Sunday for the second time in the past three contests. Kyle Higashioka will start behind the plate in his place.

Vazquez is out of the lineup Sunday against the Orioles.

Vazquez started the first two games of the series and will take a seat for the finale after going 2-for-7 with a double, a walk and two runs. Kevin Plawecki will operate behind the plate Sunday.

Contreras went 1-for-4 with a walk, a solo home run and two total RBI in Saturday's loss to the Brewers.

Contreras is batting just .206 over his last 10 games, though he does have three home runs in the stretch, giving him 20 long balls for the year. It's the third time the catcher has reached the 20-homer plateau in his six-year MLB career. His career high is the 24 home runs he blasted back in 2019, so Contreras has a shot at reaching or surpassing that mark in the Cubs' final 13 games.

Diaz is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Nationals.

It appears to be a regular day off for the 30-year-old backstop, who's hit .303 with three doubles and three home runs in his last 10 games. Dom Nunez is catching and batting eighth Sunday.

Jeffers is not starting Sunday's game against the Blue Jays.

An 0-for-4, three-strikeout performance Saturday lowered Jeffers' average to .233 with two doubles, a home run and four RBI in his last 10 games. Ben Rortvedt is catching and batting ninth Sunday.

Grandal went 1-for-2 with a solo home run and two walks in a loss to the Rangers on Saturday.

The White Sox struggled to get anything going offensively in the contest, and Grandal's sixth-inning 431-foot solo blast accounted for the team's only run. The homer was his 21st in 80 games this season, and the pair of walks evened Grandal's BB:K at 73:73. The backstop's .289 ISO and 23.4 percent walk rate are each on pace for career-best marks.

Casali went 1-for-4 with a pair of RBI in Saturday's 2-0 win over Atlanta.

The 32-year-old provided the only scoring play of the game, plating LaMonte Wade and Brandon Crawford with a four-inning single. Casali has posted a .214/.314/.359 slash line with five home runs, 26 RBI, 20 runs scored and 11 doubles in 221 plate appearances. He'll continue to play roughly twice a week as backup to Buster Posey.
