Tromp announced via his personal Twitter account Tuesday that he signed a contract with the Giants.

The 25-year-old was non-tendered by the Giants last week, but he'll be rejoining the club on a lesser deal. Tromp made his big-league debut in 2020 and had a .213/.219/.426 slash line with four home runs and 20 strikeouts in 64 plate appearances.

The Orioles outrighted Wynns off their 40-man roster Monday, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

None of MLB's other 29 teams put in a claim for Wynns after he was exposed to waivers, so he'll remain in the Orioles organization as a non-roster player for the time being. The soon-to-be 30-year-old catcher has seen scant action at the big-league level, appearing in 60 career games while slashing .239/.271/.339 in 192 plate appearances.

Tromp was non-tendered by San Francisco on Wednesday, Kerry Crowley of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

The 25-year-old made his big-league debut with the Giants in 2020 and had a .213/.219/.426 slash line and 31.2 percent strikeout rate in 24 games. Tromp had a .999 OPS at Triple-A in 2019, so he shouldn't have an issue securing a minor-league deal somewhere.

Garver signed a one-year, $1.875 million contract with the Twins on Wednesday to avoid arbitration, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.

The 29-year-old was set to enter his first year of arbitration but instead reached a deal with Minnesota. Garver struggled during the shortened season with a .511 OPS and 45.7 percent strikeout rate, but he's only a year removed from putting up a .995 OPS and 31 homers during the 2019 campaign.

Casali was non-tendered by the Reds on Wednesday.

Casali logged a respectable .866 OPS in 93 plate appearances last year, working primarily as a backup. He should be able to catch on elsewhere in a similar capacity, but he may need to settle for a pay cut.

Plawecki agreed to a one-year, $1.6 million deal with the Red Sox on Wednesday, Jon Heyman of MLB Network reports.

He made a strong impression as a backup last season, hitting .341/.393/.463 with one home run and one steal in 89 plate appearances. There will be steep regression coming, but he should be locked in as Christian Vazquez's backup.

Narvaez agreed to a one-year, $2.5 million deal with the Brewers on Wednesday, Jon Heyman of MLB Network reports.

The Brewers are going to stick to their pre-2020 evaluation of Narvaez and keep him around for at least another season. He hit .278/.353/.460 with 22 home runs in 2019 but slashed .176/.294/.269 with two round trippers this past season. The Brewers pride themselves on being able teach catchers how to be better pitch framers, and indeed, Narvaez went from being a huge defensive negative in 2019 to actually rating as a positive defender this past season, according to FanGraphs.

Sanchez was tendered a contract by the Yankees on Wednesday, Bob Nightengale of USA Today reports.

Sanchez posted lackluster numbers at the plate in 2020 and was rumored to be a non-tender candidate during the offseason. However, he'll remain with the Yankees next season while also avoiding arbitration. While Kyle Higashioka enters the season as the favorite to serve as the Yankees' primary catcher, Sanchez could certainly carve out more playing time in 2021 if he can return to his previous form.

Maile signed a major-league deal with the Brewers on Tuesday, Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports.

It seemed likely the 29-year-old would have to settle for a minor-league deal after missing the 2020 campaign due to finger surgery, but he was able to secure a major-league contract with the Brewers. Maile is a defense-first catcher with a .198/.252/.304 slash line in 215 career games. He shouldn't fill more than a backup role and joins a catching group that includes Jacob Nottingham, Omar Narvaez and Manny Pina (knee), though that player list could change ahead of Wednesday's non-tender deadline.

Diaz signed a one-year, $1.2 million contract with the Rockies on Monday, avoiding arbitration, Bob Nightengale of USA Today reports.

The deal comes with $300,000 in incentives. Manager Bud Black likes how Diaz has improved defensively behind the plate, so he should enter spring training atop the depth chart. He was not as sharp offensively, hitting .235/.288/.353 with two home runs in 26 games. Tony Wolters and Dom Nunez linger for now as depth options.
