Sanchez is out of the lineup for Game 2 of Sunday's doubleheader against the Mets.

Sanchez went 0-for-4 during the matinee and now has a .123/.245/.321 slash line through 26 games this season. Erik Kratz will work behind the plate for the Yankees in the nightcap.

Bemboom will start at catcher and will bat eighth Sunday against the Mariners.

Bemboom was expected to receive Sunday off, but he'll be in the lineup for a second straight contest after top backstop Jason Castro was scratched for an unspecified reason. In Saturday's 16-3 win, Bemboom was one of several Angels to enjoy a productive day at the dish, going 2-for-4 with three runs scored.

Nola is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Angels.

Nola will get a much-deserved breather after starting in 12 consecutive games, with each of the last three coming at catcher. Joseph Odom will step in for Nola behind the dish Sunday, catching for starting pitcher Justin Dunn.

Jansen is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Orioles.

Reese McGuire will step in behind the dish for Jansen, who looks to be receiving a routine maintenance day. Jansen caught the first two games of the series and went 1-for-7 with a double.

Barnes is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rangers.

Since Will Smith was activated from the 10-day injured list a week ago, Barnes has settled back in as the Dodgers' No. 2 backstop. He'll sit for the fifth time in seven games since Smith's return.

Bart is not in the lineup Sunday against the Diamondbacks, Henry Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Bart started the past six games and will receive a day off while mired in a 1-for-18 slump. Chadwick Tromp will catch Johnny Cueto in the series finale for the Giants.

Narvaez is out of the lineup Sunday against Pittsburgh.

Narvaez is 0-for-5 with three strikeouts in his past two games and will exit the lineup with lefty Steven Brault on the mound for the Pirates. Jacob Nottingham will take over behind the plate Sunday.

Vazquez is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Nationals.

Vazquez will be getting a routine breather after starting nine consecutive games, including each of the last four at catcher. Kevin Plawecki will replace him behind the dish, catching for Zack Godley in the series finale.

Stallings is not in the lineup Sunday against the Brewers.

Stallings has a 1.075 OPS over his past 13 games and went 1-for-4 with a double, two RBI and a walk Saturday, but he'll take a seat for Sunday's afternoon game. John Ryan Murphy will start behind the plate for the Buccos.

Jeffers is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Tigers.

Sitting for the third time in four games, Jeffers looks to have slipped behind Alex Avila on the depth chart. So long as Mitch Garver (side) remains on the injured list, the righty-hitting Jeffers should at least fill the short side of a platoon with the lefty-hitting Avila.
