Sanchez went 3-for-4 with two home runs and four RBI in Tuesday's loss to the Blue Jays.

Sanchez homered in both of his at-bats against starter Marco Estrada, following up a second-inning solo shot with a three-run blast in the fourth. This was by far the most productive offensive performance of the 23-year-old's brief career, as he doubled his career homer total in a four-inning span before action was interrupted by a 44-minute rain delay. He added one more post-delay hit for good measure, and now boasts a .340/.367/.660 line through 12 games.

D'Arnaud is out of the lineup Tuesday against Arizona, Maria I. Guardado of NJ Advance Media reports.

Rene Rivera will get the nod to start behind the dish Tuesday, giving d'Arnaud the night off. D'Arnaud will likely return to the lineup for for Wednesday's series finale against the Diamondbacks.

Leon, who did not play Monday in Cleveland, will return to the starting lineup for games in Baltimore on Tuesday and Wednesday, Evan Drellich of the Boston Herald reports.

Bryan Holaday, who started Monday, will return to catching Thursday when the Red Sox are in Detroit. Boston is in the midst of a hectic travel schedule, so Leon and Holaday are splitting duties.

Sanchez went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in Sunday's 12-3 loss to the Rays.

The Yankees were already down 8-1 when Sanchez popped his second home run of the season, but at least he went down swinging. Both homers have come in his last four games, so while his 1:10 BB:K through 10 games is worrying, Sanchez's power is at least beginning to show through.

Hernandez was sent back to Double-A Mobile following Sunday's game against the Red Sox.

Hernandez collected just two hits (though one home run) in eight at-bats for the Diamondbacks in his short time with the club but will now rejoin the team with which he slashed .196/.235/.433 over 29 games this season. The team didn't announce a corresponding move but it will likely be Welington Castillo's return from the bereavement list.

Maldonado is out of the lineup Sunday against the Reds.

Maldonado has started back-to-back games behind the plate, but will be awarded a day of rest Sunday in favor of Manny Pina. Consistent playing time has actually done well for Maldonado, as the backstop owns a .292/.414/.479 slash line since July 21. He becomes arbitration-eligible in 2017, so posting numbers like that will lead to what he hopes to be a bigger payday this offseason.

Bethancourt is out of the lineup Sunday against the Mets.

After making back-to-back starts behind the plate, Bethancourt will give way to Derek Norris for the Sunday afternoon contest. Although Norris has significantly more starts than Bethancourt on the season, the playing time appears to be evening out of late. Bethancourt has started three of the last four games over a healthy Norris.

Realmuto is out of the lineup Sunday against the White Sox, MLB.com's Joe Frisaro reports.

Realmuto put in a full day's work Saturday evening in his third straight start, so he'll head to the bench Sunday for a day of rest, giving way to Jeff Mathis behind the plate.

D'Arnaud is out of the lineup Sunday against the Padres.

D'Arnaud will take a seat after catching all 11 innings of Saturday evening's contest, giving way to Rene Rivera behind the plate. Look for d'Arnaud to return to the lineup for Monday's series opener in Arizona.

Maile is out of the lineup Sunday against the Yankees, MLB.com's Bill Chastain reports.

Maile has been receiving the majority of the starts behind the plate since the All-Star break, but with a .167/.224/.204 batting line during that span, he might be starting to feel some pressure from Bobby Wilson, who gets the nod Sunday. Both backstops have now seen three starts each over the last six games.
