Phillies manager Rob Thomson said that he expects Realmuto (knee) to return to the lineup Friday versus the Mets, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

Realmuto remains out of the lineup for Wednesday's series finale against the Rays and will end up getting a full week off as he recovers from a left knee contusion, an injury that he suffered when he fouled a ball off himself last Friday in Miami. Fortunately for Realmuto, follow-up tests revealed no structural damage to the knee, but the Phillies will continue to hold him out for a couple more days while he waits for the swelling to calm down. Garrett Stubbs and Aramis Garcia have been holding down the fort at catcher while Realmuto has been out of action.

Stephenson is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game in St. Louis.

Stephenson had started eight of the last nine contests, including the series opener Tuesday, but he'll begin Wednesday's contest on the bench. Luke Maile will handle catching duties for the Reds.

Herrera is absent from the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Reds.

Herrera had a slight edge over Pedro Pages in playing time in the first week after Willson Contreras (finger) got hurt and landed on the injured list. However, the playing time has recently been tilting in favor of Pages, who has now started six of the last eight contests. With Thursday's series finale being an afternoon game, Herrera will likely be back in the lineup that day.

Wells is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game versus the Royals.

Wells had made five straight starts, but he'll begin Wednesday's series finale on the bench. Jose Trevino will handle catching duties and bat ninth for New York.

O'Hoppe is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game in Minnesota.

It's a routine day off for O'Hoppe, who started each of the first two games of the series. Matt Thaiss will do the catching for Wednesday's finale.

Heim is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Diamondbacks.

Heim will take a seat for Wednesday's matinee after he logged eight innings behind the plate in the Rangers' 6-0 loss Tuesday night. Carson Kelly will start at catcher in the series finale in Arizona.

Perez went 2-for-3 with two RBI in Tuesday's 5-0 win over the Yankees.

Perez has six RBI over his last three games. That surge of run production has made him the sixth player in the majors this year to reach the 100-RBI threshold. For the year, he's at a .277/.337/.475 slash line with 26 home runs, 27 doubles, 56 runs scored and no stolen bases over 143 contests. With Vinnie Pasquantino (thumb) out through the end of the regular season, Perez has picked up more time at first base. He's played enough at catcher (83 games) and first base (43 games) to retain eligibility at both positions entering 2025.

Kirk is not in the lineup for Wednesday's contest against the Mets.

Kirk started at catcher in both of the first two games of the series but will begin Wednesday's finale on the bench. Brian Serven will be behind the dish and batting ninth for the Blue Jays.

Naylor is absent from the lineup for Wednesday's contest versus the White Sox.

After catching both of the first two games of the series, Naylor will take a seat for Wednesday's matinee. Austin Hedges will start behind the dish as the Guardians try to complete the sweep.

Raleigh went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's loss to the Padres.

Raleigh got the Mariners on the board early with a first-inning solo home run off Yu Darvish to bring him up to 30 home runs for a second consecutive season. The 27-year-old is batting .333/.378/.667 with three homers, 11 RBI and seven runs over his last eight games and leads the Mariners by a wide margin in home runs and RBI. For the year, he's slashing .213/.304/.431 with 45 extra-base hits, 91 RBI, 64 runs, six steals and a 60:161 BB:K in 553 plate appearances.
