Heim went 2-for-4 with two RBI in Tuesday's loss to the Rays.

Heim finally got the Rangers on the board with an RBI single in the seventh and then later plated Jared Walsh in the ninth. The 29-year-old is up to three RBI on the year, though he has shown little power early on.

The Pirates are expected to place Delay on the injured list Wednesday, Alex Stumpf of MLB.com reports.

It's unclear what injury Delay might be dealing with, but more clarification will come once the Pirates make the move official. In a corresponding move, the Pirates acquired Joey Bart in a trade with the Giants on Tuesday. Bart could end up replacing Delay on a permanent basis as the backup to Henry Davis.

The Giants traded Bart to the Pirates on Tuesday in exchange for Austin Strickland, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

The Giants designated Bart for assignment Sunday, and he will now attempt to carve out a role for himself with the Pirates. The 27-year-old backstop has struggled at the plate throughout his MLB career, slashing .219/.288/.335 over four seasons, but he'll give the Pirates depth behind the dish while Yasmani Grandal (foot) is sidelined.

Realmuto is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Reds.

Realmuto went 4-for-14 with a solo homer, two walks and an additional run scored across the first four games of the season, but he'll take a seat for Tuesday's contest. Garrett Stubbs will step in behind the plate to catch for Spencer Turnbull.

D'Arnaud isn't in Atlanta's lineup for Tuesday's game versus the White Sox, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

D'Arnaud has rotated starts with Chadwick Tromp since Sean Murphy (oblique) landed on the injured list. Tuesday will mark Tromp's turn to start behind the plate, and he will bat ninth while d'Arnaud rests.

Gomes isn't in the Cubs' lineup for Tuesday's game against the Rockies, Andy Martinez of Marquee Sports Network reports.

Gomes will get a day off Tuesday after going 0-for-9 with four strikeouts to begin the season. Miguel Amaya will fill in behind the plate and bat ninth.

Stassi (hip) reported to Triple-A Charlotte on Tuesday to begin a rehab assignment, Vinnie Duber of AllCHGO.com reports.

The 33-year-old began the season on the injured list with a hip injury, but it appears he won't have a lengthy absence. Stassi could join the White Sox by the weekend if the rehab assignment goes well.

Rogers is absent from the lineup for Tuesday's contest against the Mets.

Carson Kelly is receiving a second straight start at catcher, although Rogers was in the designated hitter spot for Monday's game. Rogers is 1-for-10 with six strikeouts in his first three tilts this season, although that one hit was a home run.

Brannon is on the 60-day injured list with Single-A Salem as he recovers from arthroscopic surgery on his left knee, Jim Callis of MLB.com reports.

It's unclear when the 19-year-old slugging catcher had the procedure, but he will miss at least two months. Brannon hit .292 with eight strikeouts and three home runs in six games at Single-A last season.

Contreras went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run and a hit-by-pitch in Monday's 6-2 win over the Padres.

Contreras' first-inning blast gave the Cardinals a 3-0 lead, which was enough support for Kyle Gibson. It's been a bit of a slow start to the year for Contreras -- he's 2-for-14 with two walks, five strikeouts and two runs scored over four contests. Facing the Dodgers' formidable pitching staff in the first series likely played a role in that, so he should be expected to hit just fine over a larger sample.
