D'Arnaud went 3-for-5 with three doubles and two RBI in Tuesday's 8-6 win over the Pirates.

His third two-bagger of the night was the biggest, as d'Arnaud ripped a curveball from Pittsburgh closer David Bednar into left field to kick-start a three-run rally for Atlanta that erased a 6-5 deficit. The veteran catcher had been scuffling at the plate lately, and even after Tuesday's performance he's batting just .220 (11-for-50) since the beginning of July, but eight of those 11 hits -- five doubles and three homers -- have gone for extra bases and he's racked up 10 RBI.

Ruiz went 3-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Phillies.

After socking a solo shot off Zack Wheeler in the second inning of the matinee, Ruiz was back behind the plate for the nightcap, finishing 0-for-5 with two strikeouts. The switch-hitting catcher snapped a 16-game homer drought with the long ball, but since the All-Star break he's slashing an impressive .316/.369/.500 over 84 plate appearances with three of his 12 home runs on the season.

Heim took batting practice Tuesday for the first time since suffering a torn tendon sheath in his left wrist, Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News reports.

Heim took about 15-20 swings of pitching from Rangers hitting instructor Tim Hyers and also caught a bullpen session. Texas manager Bruce Bochy left open the possibility that Heim could face live pitching as early as Monday and potentially return during the team's six-game homestand next week. The plan calls for the switch-hitting Heim to bat from the left side only, as the left wrist is non-dominant when swinging from that side.

Moreno (shoulder) is scheduled to catch five innings in a game at the Arizona Complex League, MLB.com reports.

Moreno recently began taking swings and caught bullpen sessions. The catcher was placed on the injured list July 23 after experiencing left shoulder inflammation.

Rutschman went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and an additional run scored in Tuesday's loss to Houston.

Rutschman tagged Framber Valdez for a two-run shot in the second inning, bringing James McCann around to score and marking Rutschman's seventh consecutive game recording an RBI. Over that stretch, he's hitting 9-for-27 (.333) with five runs scored and has struck out just once in 32 plate appearances.

Grandal was removed from Tuesday's game against the Yankees with left knee soreness.

Grandal previously missed time in June due to soreness in his right knee, and now his left knee is giving him problems as well. He's officially listed as day-to-day, suggesting the injury may not be too severe. However, more information will likely come after Tuesday's game.

Rogers went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's win over the Twins.

Rogers continues to increase his career high in home runs, as he now has 14 this season, which is four more than he had in his entire career coming into the year. The catcher also struck out again Tuesday, something he's doing 33 percent of the time this season. Rogers will likely remain a boom-or-bust option the rest of the way given his all-or-nothing approach at the plate.

Realmuto isn't in the Phillies' lineup for Game 2 of Tuesday's doubleheader with the Nationals.

After an 0-for-4 effort during Game 1, Realmuto will sit out Game 2 in favor of Garrett Stubbs, who will bat eighth while starting behind the dish.

Bailey isn't in the Giants' lineup Tuesday against the Angels, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

After going 4-for-6 with four RBI and two runs scored over his last two games, Bailey will catch a breather Tuesday. Blake Sabol will take over behind the plate and bat sixth.

Rodriguez is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against Atlanta.

Rodriguez hit his second career homer Sunday as part of his first career three-hit game, and he followed up with a double and a run scored in Monday's contest. The 23-year-old will get a day to rest his legs as Jason Delay takes over behind the plate to catch for starter Mitch Keller.
