Justin Turner 1B | CHC
Blue Jays' Justin Turner: Productive in rout
Turner went 1-for-3 with a walk, two runs scored and an RBI in Thursday's win over the Yankees.
The hit was a fluky one -- he squibbed a ball down the first-base line and it caromed off the bag and away from Ben Rice rather than rolling foul -- but Turner still put together a productive night in a 9-2 rout. The veteran slugger has found a groove at the plate, going 10-for-25 (.400) over the last eight games with a double, a homer, four RBI, seven runs and an 8:6 BB:K. Despite the surge, Turner's .715 OPS on the season would be his lowest mark since 2013.

Trevor Larnach LF | MIN
Twins' Trevor Larnach: Getting day off against lefty
Larnach is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Diamondbacks.
Larnach will be joined on the bench by fellow left-handed hitter Max Kepler as the Twins add a pair of right-handed bats (Manuel Margot and Kyle Farmer) to the lineup to counter Diamondbacks southpaw Jordan Montgomery. Expect Larnach to rejoin the starting nine for the Twins' series opener in Seattle on Friday, when right-hander Logan Gilbert is scheduled to take the hill for the Mariners.

Tyler Heineman C | TOR
Red Sox's Tyler Heineman: Heads back to Triple-A
The Red Sox optioned Heineman to Triple-A Worcester on Thursday, Jen McCaffrey of The Athletic reports.
As expected, Heineman's stay with the Red Sox was a brief one. Boston called him up from Worcester on Monday to provide another option at catcher while Connor Wong (personal) was away from the team on paternity leave, but Heineman will head back to the minors after Wong was activated Thursday. Heineman picked up one at-bat during his latest stint in the majors.

Ryan O'Hearn 1B | PIT
Orioles' Ryan O'Hearn: Goes deep in win
O'Hearn went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 4-2 win over the Guardians.
O'Hearn snapped a 13-game homer drought with his eighth-inning blast. While his power wasn't present in that stretch, the designated hitter went 13-for-46 (.283) with 11 RBI. O'Hearn continues to excel in a strong-side platoon role, posting a .284/.340/.470 slash line with 10 homers, 33 RBI, 28 runs scored and three stolen bases over 235 plate appearances this year, with his success fueled by a career-low 10.2-percent strikeout rate.

Eloy Jimenez DH | TOR
White Sox's Eloy Jimenez: Heading to bench Wednesday
Jimenez is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Dodgers.
Jimenez experienced a brief scare when he experienced some soreness in his hamstring in his first game back from the injured list in Sunday's 11-2 loss to the Tigers, but he proceeded to serve as the White Sox's designated hitter in both of the first two games of the series with the Dodgers. He went 2-for-9 between the two contests, smacking a double while driving in a run. Jimenez didn't report any setbacks with the hamstring coming out of either game against the Dodgers, so he's likely just getting a planned day off Wednesday.

Miguel Sano 3B | LAA
Angels' Miguel Sano: Grounds out in return to action
Sano went 0-for-1 against Oakland in a 7-5 victory Tuesday.
Sano was activated from the injured list Tuesday after missing 50 games with left knee inflammation. He entered as a pinch hitter in the seventh inning and grounded out to second base. Sano seems likely to return to the role he held prior to the injury, logging semi-regular at-bats while playing at first base and third base as well as getting starts as the Angels' designated hitter.

Mitch Garver DH | SEA
Mariners' Mitch Garver: Belts 10th homer in loss
Garver went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a loss to the Rays on Tuesday.
Garver's night was a microcosm of the dichotomy of his first season with the Mariners -- he flashed his power stroke for the second straight night and left the yard for the fifth time in the last 16 games overall, but he also struck out in his other three plate appearances. The veteran offseason addition has impressively knocked 22 of his 39 hits for extra bases, yet the second-highest strikeout rate of his career (30.0 percent) and a .215 BABIP have conspired to generate an anemic .176 average across his first 68 games in Seattle.

Eloy Jimenez DH | TOR
White Sox's Eloy Jimenez: Three-game hitting streak
Jimenez went 1-for-5 with a double and an RBI on Tuesday against the Dodgers.
Jimenez started in his third consecutive game since being activated from the injured list Sunday, and he has one hit in each contest. His performance Tuesday marked his first extra-base hit in that span, and he also has one RBI and one run scored. Jimenez has hit either third or fourth in every game since his return.

Miguel Sano 3B | LAA
Angels' Miguel Sano: Back from IL
The Angels reinstated Sano (knee) from the 10-day injured list Tuesday.
Knee inflammation has kept Sano sidelined since the beginning of May. He was medically cleared to return from the IL on Saturday; however, poor performance during his rehab assignment combined with a cluttered Angels roster caused him to remain at Triple-A Salt Lake for a few additional days. He went 6-for-10 with a homer and four RBI in his last two rehab games and will now rejoin the Halos' infield unit, replacing Michael Stefanic.

Ryan O'Hearn 1B | PIT
Orioles' Ryan O'Hearn: Taking seat against LHP
O'Hearn is absent from the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Guardians, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.
As per usual, O'Hearn will be held out of the lineup with the Orioles facing a southpaw, as Logan Allen takes the mound for Cleveland on Tuesday. O'Hearn is riding a five-game hit streak, batting 7-for-22 with eight RBI during that span.
