Martinez went 1-for-4 with solo home run and a walk during Tuesday's 6-1 win over the Athletics.

The veteran slugger had five homers through his first 50 appearances of the season, but he's found his power stroke of late with three long balls across his four games. Martinez ranks third in the league with a .345 batting average to go along with 22 doubles, 27 RBI and 36 runs scored.

Winker is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Twins.

Winker started the past 15 games and will head to the bench after posting a .655 OPS during that stretch. Dylan Moore will man left field while J.P. Crawford takes over the leadoff spot.

Cabrera will sit Tuesday against the White Sox.

Cabrera owns a .568 OPS thus far in June and hasn't managed a single extra-base hit in 11 games this month. Austin Meadows will serve as the designated hitter Tuesday, with Victor Reyes stepping into Meadows' usual spot in right field.

Winker went 1-for-3 with two walks in a loss to the Twins on Monday.

Winker turned in a productive effort befitting of his leadoff role, yet none of the hitters behind him were able to drive him in during his three times on base. The veteran outfielder continues be saddled with an ugly .208/.319/.303 slash line, but he's now reached safely in five straight games, albeit with just one extra-base hit during that span.

Buxton went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run and an additional run scored in Monday's 3-2 win over the Mariners.

Buxton had a hand in all three of Minnesota's runs in the victory, swatting a two-run homer to right field in the first inning and scoring the decisive run in the seventh. The 28-year-old is enjoying a big June thus far, slashing .351/.429/.973 with seven homers, 11 RBI and 11 runs across 10 games. Buxton's 18 homers on the season trail only Aaron Judge's 24.

Stanton went 2-for-4 with a double, two walks, three runs and three RBI in Sunday's 18-4 win over the Cubs.

The Yankees enjoyed a big game on offense, and Stanton was in the middle of the action. He reached base four times for the third time this season and was one of three New York players to plate at least three runs. Stanton had gone 3-for-31 at the plate over his previous 11 games entering Sunday, so he'll look to to use the standout performance as a starting point for busting out of the slump.

Brantley went 1-for-4 with a walk, two RBI and two runs scored Sunday against the Marlins.

Brantley took advantage of Houston hitters getting on base in front of him, as he drove in both of his runs on groundouts. The performance also extended his hitting streak to eight games, during which Brantley has driven in four and scored five runs. He's maintained a strong .291/.378/.418 line across 226 plate appearances this season.

Carpenter went 3-for-4 with two home runs, a double, seven RBI, three runs and a walk in Sunday's 18-4 win over the Cubs.

Carpenter didn't start in any of the seven games leading up to Sunday's matchup, but he drew the start at third base in the series finale against the Cubs and led the team's offense with three extra-base hits during the blowout win. The 36-year-old will likely still face an uphill battle for playing time since the Yankees have plenty of infield depth, but it was encouraging to see a glimpse of dominance from the veteran.

Alvarez went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI in Sunday's 9-4 win over the Marlins.

Alvarez delivered an RBI single in the fourth inning and a sacrifice fly in the eighth. Through 10 games in June, the designated hitter has already posted five three-hit efforts, picking right up where he left off after ending May strong. The 24-year-old is up to a .311/.402/.628 slash line with 17 home runs, 41 RBI, 38 runs scored, seven doubles and two triples through 54 contests. His 1.030 OPS is just 37 points shy of his career-best mark from his rookie year, though it remains to be seen if he can push it even higher in 2022.

Ohtani is not in the lineup Sunday against the Mets, Sam Blum of The Athletic reports.

Ohtani's absence appears to be tied to the fact that the Angels seemingly don't want Mike Trout taking the field two days in a row immediately after a three-game absence due to groin tightness. Trout will fill the designated hitter spot Sunday, leaving no room for Ohtani.
