Miller was removed from Sunday's game against the Athletics at the end of the fourth inning due to right hip tightness.

Miller was productive to begin Sunday's matchup, as he went 2-for-2 with a home run and two RBI to help give the Rangers an early lead. The Rangers said that the 32-year-old's removal from the lineup was precautionary, and he'll be evaluated ahead of Monday's series opener against the Rays. If Miller misses any additional time, Eli White and Charlie Culberson would be candidates for increased at-bats.

Jimenez tweaked his surgically repaired right hamstring during his first rehab game with Triple-A Charlotte on Saturday and is expected to be out of the lineup for a couple days, Vinnie Duber of AllCHGO.com reports.

It's hardly a positive development during Jimenez's first rehab appearance, but it's not believed to be a notable setback, as manager Tony La Russa doesn't expect it to be something that changes the outfielder's recovery timeline. The 25-year-old may need a couple additional games in the minors, but he could still be back with the White Sox in early June.

Lewis was scratched from the lineup for Sunday's game against the Astros for undisclosed reasons.

Lewis was slated to bat sixth as the designated hitter Sunday, but he was removed from the lineup without an explanation. It's unclear whether or not the 26-year-old is dealing with an injury, but it's a worrisome situation given he's only four games into his return from the knee surgery he underwent in June of 2021.

Carpenter is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rays.

With southpaw Shane McClanahan on the hill for Tampa Bay, the lefty-hitting Carpenter will retreat to the bench in the series finale. After signing with the Yankees on Thursday, Carpenter started in each of the team's subsequent three games and went a collective 1-for-8 with a solo home run, two walks and two additional runs.

Cabrera (back) is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against Cleveland.

Cabrera was removed from Saturday's contest with lower-back tightness, and he'll be out of the lineup for at least one game due to the injury. Robbie Grossman will serve as the designated hitter while Willi Castro, Derek Hill and Daz Cameron start from left to right in the outfield.

Ramirez is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Yankees, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Before heading to the bench for Saturday's 3-1 win, Ramirez had started in each of the Rays' last nine games. However, with all of the team's key position players back to full health with the exception of Brandon Lowe (back), Ramirez looks as though he'll find himself out of the lineup against right-handed pitching more often than not.

Cabrera left Saturday's game against the Guardians with lower-back tightness, Jason Beck of MLB.com reports.

Eric Haase pinch-hit for Cabrera in the eighth inning. As long as Cabrera's injury doesn't turn out to be anything worse than tightness, he should be back in the lineup within a few days.

While Jimenez is merely considered day-to-day, this certainly isn't the news the outfielder's fantasy managers wanted to hear. Jimenez has been tracking toward the front end of his 6-to-8 week recovery timeline after undergoing right hamstring surgery, but this setback could push him toward the back end of that time frame, as the White Sox will certainly want to avoid taking any chances with his health.

Ohtani (back) will bat second and serve as the designated hitter Saturday against the Blue Jays, Sam Blum of The Athletic reports.

Ohtani left Thursday's series opener with back stiffness and was on the bench Friday, though he did make an appearance as a pinch hitter. He'll be fully involved from the start this time around, which seemingly backs up the idea that he'll be ready to take the mound for his next start, which lines up to come next Thursday at Yankee Stadium.

Winker (shoulder) is starting Saturday against the Astros, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

Winker was scratched from Friday's lineup due to right shoulder soreness, but he'll be back in action a day later. The 28-year-old went 3-for-18 with two runs, an RBI, three walks and four strikeouts over his last five games. He'll start in center field and lead off Saturday.
