Soler (oblique/back) isn't in Thursday's lineup against the White Sox.

Soler left Wednesday's contest during the seventh inning with oblique irritation and mid-back tightness, and he'll be on the bench for Thursday's contest. He's considered day-to-day, but it's unclear when he could return to the lineup. Ryan O'Hearn will start as the designated hitter with Hunter Dozier taking over at first base.

Martinez went 2-for-4 with a double and RBI on Wednesday against the Braves.

Martinez had missed the team's past two games after being hit by a pitch on the hand. However, he showed no ill effects in his return to the lineup, driving an RBI double in the first inning. Four frames later, he added an RBI single. Overall, Martinez is hitting .218/.305/.387 with three home runs, 14 runs scored and 17 RBI across 141 plate appearances.

Reyes went 3-for-4 with a pair of runs scored in Wednesday's 5-0 win over the Royals.

Reyes came around to score on Tyler Naquin's homers in the second and ninth innings. All three of Reyes' hits were singles. The 25-year-old is slashing .336/.388/.575 with eight homers, 25 RBI and 24 runs scored across 36 games this season. He's collected 10 hits in his last 13 at-bats, including a homer and four doubles.

Brantley went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run during Wednesday's win over the Rangers.

Brantley got the scoring started with an early two-run homer off Kolby Allard in the first inning. It was his second long ball in as many nights and his third of the season. Through 22 games, the 33-year-old leads the Astros with a .300 batting average.

Soler left Wednesday's game at Kansas City with oblique irritation and mid-back tightness, Alec Lewis of The Athletic reports.

The 28-year-old went 0-for-2 with a strikeout before being lifted for a pinch hitter during the seventh inning. Soler is considered day-to-day, though the specifics of the injuries remain unclear.

Buxton isn't in Wednesday's lineup against the White Sox.

Buxton returned to the lineup Tuesday after spending time on the injured list, but he'll get a routine day off as the Twins ease him back into action. Jake Cave is starting in center field.

Choi isn't in Wednesday's lineup against the Yankees.

Choi will get a breather Wednesday as left-hander Jordan Montgomery starts for the Yankees. Nate Lowe will start at first base.

Martinez (hand) is starting Wednesday against Atlanta.

Martinez was hit by a pitch on his left hand during Sunday's contest that forced him to miss two games. However, he'll start in left field and bat fourth Wednesday.

Brantley went 2-for-4 with a home run, a walk and four RBI in a loss to the Rangers on Tuesday.

Brantley put Houston temporarily ahead with a three-run blast in the seventh inning and brought the team to within a run with a run-scoring single in the 10th. The four RBI were a season high for Brantley, with the long ball marking his first since Opening Day. Still, the veteran has been one of Houston's most effective hitters this season, slashing .299/.379/.494 through 87 plate appearances.

Reyes went 5-for-5 with a solo home run, two doubles, one RBI and two runs scored Tuesday against the Royals.

Reyes took Matt Harvey deep in the first inning to record his eighth home run of the season. He continued to showcase his power throughout the game, doubling in both the fifth and seventh innings. Reyes now has three multi-hit performances in his last five starts, during which he's tallied two home runs, five doubles, seven RBI and six runs scored. Overall, he's hitting .323/.378/.569 with 22 runs scored and 25 RBI across 143 plate appearances.
