Pederson is not in Sunday's lineup against the Marlins.

Pederson will take a seat with southpaw Braxton Garrett starting for Miami, but he could enter as a pinch hitter once the Marlins bring in a righty. He is hitting .323 with three home runs over his last 10 games.

Morel went 5-for-9 with a walk, two doubles, two RBI and two runs scored across both games of Saturday's doubleheader against the Cardinals.

Morel led off both games, and he helped power the Chicago offense in the twin bill. The rookie boosted his average from .262 to .297 with the five-hit effort. He's been a solid addition for the Cubs, particularly on the base paths, as he's stolen six bases through 19 games. It looks like Morel has carved out a regular role and put himself squarely on the fantasy radar.

Canha is not in Saturday's lineup against the Dodgers.

The righty-hitting Canha will head to the bench in favor of the lefty-hitting Nick Plummer with righty Walker Buehler on the mound. This is one way to get Plummer at-bats, but Canha only occasionally sits against same-handed pitching. He is hitting .310 with one home run and zero steals over his last 10 games.

Vogelbach isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Diamondbacks.

Vogelbach returned from the injured list Friday and went 1-for-3 with two walks and a strikeout. However, Michael Chavis will serve as the designated hitter while Yu Chang starts at first base Saturday.

Vientos was scratched from Friday's lineup at Triple-A Syracuse due to knee discomfort, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

Vientos has been productive in Syracuse since the start of May, slashing .320/.400/.600 with six home runs, three doubles, 14 runs and 14 RBI over 20 games during that time. The team doesn't sound too concerned about the 22-year-old's knee issue, so he should tentatively be considered day-to-day.

Pederson went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, two walks and three total runs scored in Friday's 15-6 win over the Marlins.

Pederson's third-inning blast was his sixth homer in his last 10 games. This was also the second contest this year where he's drawn multiple walks. The outfielder is up to a .269/.349/.600 slash line with 13 long balls, 30 RBI, 22 runs scored and a stolen base through 149 plate appearances. Injuries are piling up in the Giants' outfield again, as Luis Gonzalez (lower leg contusion) is now sidelined, so Pederson should continue to be used heavily.

Vogelbach (hamstring) was activated from the 10-day injured list and is starting at designated hitter and batting third Friday against the Diamondbacks.

He has been out since May 23 and will take the place of Josh VanMeter, who was placed on the injured list in a corresponding move. Vogelbach hit .164/.266/.400 with three home runs in 55 at-bats in March

Rooker was recalled from Triple-A El Paso on Friday.

He takes the place of Wil Myers, who was placed on the injured list with knee inflammation. Nomar Mazara should start in right field against righties, but Rooker could occupy the short side of a platoon in the short term. He hit .242/.357/.568 with nine home runs and 37 strikeouts in 26 games at Triple-A.

Belt (knee) will begin a running progression Friday, Evan Webeck of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

Belt resumed hitting in a batting cage Monday, and he'll be able to begin running to close out the week. However, it's not yet clear when he'll return to game action or whether he'll require a rehab assignment prior to rejoining the Giants.

Harper (forearm) is starting Friday against the Angels.

Harper was removed from Wednesday's lineup due to right forearm soreness, but he'll serve as the designated hitter and bat third following Thursday's scheduled off day. Over his last five games, he's gone 4-for-20 with a double, two runs, an RBI, four walks and four strikeouts.
