Turner went 3-for-5 with a home run, two doubles, three runs scored and two RBI in Saturday's 11-2 win over the Red Sox.

Turner was 3-for-21 in his last seven contests but busted out in Boston against Chris Sale. The veteran third baseman has battled numerous injuries throughout the season but is still slashing .295/.374/.460 with 11 home runs in 84 games.

Ohtani went 0-for-3 with a stolen base, a run scored and a walk in Saturday's 9-2 win over the Mariners.

Ohtani drew the walk against Mariners reliever David McKay in the seventh inning, then stole second base and came around to score on a three-run blast by Albert Pujols. The designated hitter is having a strong season with a .298/.352/.556 line with 14 homers, five steals, 38 RBI and 30 runs scored in 55 games.

Buxton left Saturday's win following the eighth inning after landing hard on his face while making a catch, Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports.

Buxton stayed in the game to finish the inning but didn't come out for the ninth. He didn't appear to suffer an injury, but may have been dazed from the impact of the catch. According to Park, manager Rocco Baldelli indicated Buxton was being examined but had no specifics on what was bothering him.

Choi is not in the lineup for Game 2 of Saturday's doubleheader against the Orioles, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Considering Game 1 was Choi's first game back from an ankle injury and that the O's are trotting out a lefty (John Means) in Game 2, it is hardly surprising to see him sitting in the nightcap. Yandy Diaz starts at designated hitter while Nate Lowe starts at first base. Look for Choi to continue sitting against most lefties going forward.

Dickerson (back) is on the bench as expected Saturday against the Brewers, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.

Dickerson left Friday's game with back tightness and was ruled out for Saturday's contest after the game. Brandon Belt will start in left field in his absence and could spend more time there until the Giants are fully confident in Dickerson's health, as he's had significant back problems in the past.

Pederson remains out of the lineup Saturday against the Red Sox.

Chris Sale represents the second of three lefties the Red Sox will throw against the Dodgers, so Pederson remains stuck on the bench. Max Muncy again gets the nod at first base.

Winker will sit against lefty Kyle Freeland and the Rockies on Saturday.

Winker hasn't started against a lefty since late May. Phillip Ervin will start in left field, as he's done against the previous six southpaws the Reds have faced.

Solak was traded from the Rays to the Rangers on Saturday in exchange for Peter Fairbanks.

Solak has spent the season with Triple-A Durham, hitting .266/.353/.485 with 17 homers and in 85 games. The 24-year-old is a well-rounded prospect who grades out as at least average in all five tools, but his drop in steals from 21 last year to just three so far this season certainly puts at least a small dent in his fantasy value. Getting out of Tampa Bay's organization, which is full of second basemen, could help him make a big-league impact sooner than expected. He'll head to Triple-A Nashville for now.

Choi (ankle) was activated from the injured list ahead of Saturday's game against the Orioles, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

He will presumably slot in as either the first baseman or designated hitter, with Nate Lowe occupying the other role going forward. That said, Lowe's presence on the roster will likely lead to slightly more off days for Choi over the rest of the season.

Reed went 1-for-4 in a 5-1 loss to the Athletics on Friday.

Reed made his debut with the White Sox after being claimed off waivers during the All-Star break. The left-handed-hitting Reed slotted in at seventh in the order while serving as the designated hitter against Oakland right-hander Mike Fiers. The big-bodied 26-year-old will get an opportunity with the White Sox and has a power stroke that could make him this year's Daniel Palka, who had 27 home runs for Chicago in 2018.
