Ohtani allowed one hit and issued one walk while striking out four batters over three scoreless innings in a no-decision against San Francisco on Saturday. He also went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts as a hitter.

For the first time in a Dodgers uniform, Ohtani went deeper than two innings, completing three frames on 36 pitches against the Giants. He threw 25 of those offerings for strikes, including six whiffs, and fanned a season-high four batters while looking entirely at ease on the mound. Ohtani gave up a run in one inning during his 2025 pitching debut versus San Diego on June 16, and since then he's tossed eight scoreless frames while allowing just two hits and posting a 10:2 K:BB over four starts. The Dodgers will almost certainly continue to build him up gradually, so he probably won't be pitching deep enough to qualify for a win for several more starts, but all signs to this point indicate that Ohtani hasn't lost the ability to be an ace after undergoing UCL surgery in September of 2023. Per Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register, Ohtani will next pitch in one of Los Angeles' first five games following the All-Star break, though it's not yet clear if he'll again form a piggyback with Emmet Sheehan, who tossed 4.1 frames following Ohtani on Saturday.

Keith went 1-for-3 with two walks and two runs scored in Saturday's 15-7 loss to the Mariners.

Despite the lopsided loss, Keith continued his strong performance as Detroit's leadoff man. He's batted first in each of his starts dating back to June 19, and during that time, Keith is batting .319 with four home runs, 10 RBI and 14 runs scored across 19 games. The young infielder's fantasy stock is on the rise given his prime position atop a potent Detroit lineup that is sixth in the majors in runs scored.

Flores is not in Saturday's lineup against the Dodgers.

Flores will sit out his second straight game overall and fifth with a right-handed starter or bulk reliever taking the mound. Dominic Smith appears to have taken over the large-side platoon role at first base for the time being, and he will hit eighth Saturday.

Herrera (hamstring) was given pregame reps in the outfield with the Cardinals prior to beginning his rehab assignment with Triple-A Memphis on Thursday, Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

Herrera's playing time at catcher in the second half will be reduced -- if not outright eliminated -- as the Cardinals look to keep him healthy and also prioritize defense at the position. The 25-year-old will be the team's primary designated hitter down the stretch, but he's being worked out in the outfield "to see what that looks like," per manager Oliver Marmol. Herrera has played 14 games at catcher this season, so he is in danger of losing catcher eligibility heading into 2026, if your league uses a 20-game threshold. He is expected to be activated from the 10-day injured list for the first game after the All-Star break.

Grichuk went 3-for-4 with a double, two home runs and three RBI in Friday's 6-5 loss to the Angels.

The veteran outfielder kept Arizona in the game, launching a two-run shot to left field off Tyler Anderson in the second inning before tying things up at 5-5 in the eighth by crushing a Reid Detmers slider over the center-field wall for a solo blast. It was Grichuk's first multi-homer performance since last September, and he's finding his groove heading into the All-Star break -- four of his seven long balls on the season have come in his last 10 games.

Ohtani went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Friday's 8-7 loss to the Giants.

Ohtani's third-inning homer gave the Dodgers a 2-1 lead at the time. After opening July with a 3-for-22 (.136) slump over six games, Ohtani has gone 4-for-14 with two homers and four RBI over his last four contests. The two-way superstar is up to a .278/.383/.614 slash line with 32 long balls, 60 RBI, 89 runs scored, 12 stolen bases, 12 doubles and seven triples over 93 contests. Ohtani is scheduled to make a start on the mound Saturday, but as he's still building up his workload, he's likely to cover two or three innings before turning the ball over to Emmet Sheehan.

Schwarber went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Friday's 4-2 loss to the Padres.

Schwarber's blast was his 30th of the season, and five of those homers have come over just nine games in July. He's added 12 RBI, three doubles, seven runs scored and a stolen base this month. This is Schwarber's seventh year of 30-plus homers, a mark he's reached five seasons in a row. He's positioned well to push for a career high -- he slugged 47 long balls in the 2023 campaign. The designated hitter has added a .254/.385/.560 slash line, 69 RBI, 66 runs scored and nine stolen bases over 94 contests this season.

Larnach went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Friday's 2-1 win over Pittsburgh.

Larnach's 13th home run of the season came in the fourth inning against All-Star right-hander Paul Skenes, which is certainly no easy feat. Although the lefty-hitting Larnach tends to struggle versus southpaws, he's been quite effective against righties this year. Through 259 at-bats versus right-handed pitching, Larnach is hitting .270 with 12 homers, 12 doubles and 35 RBI.

Mets manager Carlos Mendoza said Friday that the results of Marte's (knee) MRI were "very encouraging," and the Mets expect Marte to return after the All-Star break, Laura Albanese of Newsday reports.

Marte was placed on the injured list July 7 due to a bruised right knee, but he may not miss more than the required 10 days. The outfielder is slashing .270/.353/.387 in 188 plate appearances this season.

Brooks is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Phillies.

Brooks is out of the lineup for a third consecutive game, leaving DH duties to Xander Bogaerts on Friday. Brooks is slashing .152/.176/.303 with a 35.3 percent strikeout rate in 34 plate appearances this season.
