Rooker (knee) is still not participating in any baseball activities as of Tuesday, MLB.com reports.

Rooker hit the injured list June 12 due to a bone bruise in his left knee and has yet to make much headway in his recovery. The Athletics hope to have a better idea of his status next week, though that suggests a return before the end of June is unlikely. Before being shelved, the veteran hit .200/.281/.389 with 10 homers, 29 RBI, 20 runs and two stolen bases across 48 games.

Schwarber was scratched from the lineup for Tuesday's game against Washington due to lower-back tightness, Lochlahn March of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Schwarber's back will keep him on the bench to begin Tuesday's contest, and it remains unknown whether he'll have to miss additional games as well. Edmundo Sosa will fill in as the Phillies' designated hitter and bat eighth.

Canzone (hamstring) is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Pirates.

Canzone will miss at least one start after departing Sunday's game against the Red Sox due to a hamstring injury. The severity of the injury isn't clear, but the 28-year-old should be considered day-to-day until more information is available. Randy Arozarena (hamstring) is serving as the DH in his return from the injured list.

Springer went 2-for-4 with a walk and a run scored in Monday's win over the Astros.

Facing the team he won a World Series with in 2017, Springer delivered another strong performance from the leadoff spot, recording his fifth multi-hit effort in the last seven games. Over 16 games in June, the 36-year-old sports a .271/.389/.475 slash line with three homers, three steals, seven RBI and nine runs as he puts a quiet start to the campaign behind him.

Soler went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's 6-1 loss to the Orioles.

Soler missed just over two weeks due to a left oblique strain. The veteran kept the Angels from getting shut out Monday, lifting a ninth-inning homer. He went 13-for-55 (.236) in the 14 games prior to his absence, a slight improvement compared to his overall numbers. He's batting .220 with a .713 OPS, 10 homers, 34 RBI, 29 runs scored, 10 doubles and a triple over 59 contests this season.

Ohtani went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk in a 2-1 win against Minnesota on Monday.

Ohtani gave Los Angeles an early jolt, belting a 414-foot homer to right field to lead off the game. That was his only hit, but the Twins helped emphasize how much the slugger is feared when they walked him intentionally with two outs and a runner on first base in the ninth inning. Ohtani had a slow start to the season in the power department, going deep an uncharacteristic eight times over his first 50 games, but he's picked up the pace since. Over his past 21 contests, the two-way superstar has nine homers along with 15 RBI. His offensive numbers are still below his usual lofty standards, but Ohtani nonetheless ranks fourth among qualified hitters with a .976 OPS.

Andujar is absent from the lineup for Monday's game against Atlanta.

Andujar has not started either of the Padres' two games since he was activated from the 10-day injured list Sunday. The Padres have faced right-handers in both contests, so Andujar could be looking at a short-side platoon role for the time being. Will Wagner started at designated hitter Sunday, and Gavin Sheets is slotting in at DH on Monday.

The Angels reinstated Soler (oblique) from the 10-day injured list Monday. He'll start at designated hitter and bat cleanup in the Angels' series opener versus the Orioles.

Soler had been on the shelf since June 6 due to a left oblique strain, and after he checked out well after taking on-field batting practice in recent days, the Angels elected to bring him back from the IL without having him complete a rehab assignment beforehand. Because he returned a bit earlier than anticipated, Soler could be in line for a maintenance day or two during the Angels' upcoming six-game week, but he should settle back into a near-everyday role at DH.

The Rockies optioned Thompson to Triple-A Albuquerque on Monday.

With Mickey Moniak (ankle) making his return from the 10-day injured list, Thompson's playing time would have taken a hit had he stuck around with Colorado. He'll instead return to Albuquerque, where he will receive regular reps. Thompson put up a .688 OPS with two home runs and a 5:21 BB:K across his first 27 big-league games.

Herrera went 3-for-5 with a three-run home run, a hit-by-pitch and three runs scored in Sunday's 12-10 win over the Royals.

Herrera collected a pair of singles and delivered a three-run homer in the fifth inning off Steven Cruz for his 10th home run of the season. The catcher has been one of St. Louis' hottest hitters recently, batting .333 with a 1.134 OPS over his last 12 games. Herrera's season-long splits have been notable, as he has found considerably more success away from Busch Stadium, slashing .311/.463/.481 on the road compared to .221/.345/.379 at home.
