Yankees manager Aaron Boone said Tuesday that he expects Stanton (hamstring) to be sidelined for around six weeks, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.

After Stanton landed on the 10-day injured list Saturday with a Grade 2 left hamstring strain, initial projections called for him miss 4-to-6 weeks, and Boone's comments suggest the Yankees are already bracing for the 32-year-old to trend toward the longer end of that timeline. While Stanton is on the shelf, Josh Donaldson could receive the bulk of the opportunities at designated hitter after he likely returns from a hamstring injury of his own within the next few days.

When asked if Ohtani's next pitching start could get moved up after the two-way star tossed only 31pitches against Boston on Monday, Angels manager Phil Nevin said, "We'll talk about it," Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.

Ohtani completed two innings against the Red Sox before a rain delay that lasted nearly 90 minutes. Nevin opted not to risk an injury to his star hurler by putting him back on the mound, so his outing was over after just 31 pitches. It stands to reason that Ohtani won't need as much time as usual to recover between starts, though Nevin's comments suggest that Angels aren't yet certain whether they'll push his next appearance up.

Atlanta claimed Solak off waivers from the White Sox on Tuesday and optioned him to Triple-A Gwinnett.

Solak will now join his fourth organization in less than two months after his brief stint with the White Sox was preceded by stops with the Reds and Mariners. The 28-year-old showed promise during his first taste of MLB action back in 2019, but he's posted a rough .246/.317/.354 batting line in 839 big-league plate appearances since the beginning of the 2020 campaign.

Harper (elbow) is scheduled to take live batting practice against Ranger Suarez (forearm) on Tuesday, Corey Seidman of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.

It will be the first time Harper faces a left-hander in his ongoing recovery from Tommy John surgery. He took at-bats against right-hander Nick Nelson (hamstring) over the weekend. Harper still has a lot of hurdles to clear and there is no exact timetable for a return, but recent reports suggest that he might be allowed to skip a minor-league rehab assignment and jump back onto the Phillies' active roster before June.

McCutchen went 2-for-6 with a solo home run in Monday's 14-3 win over the Rockies.

McCutchen took Kyle Freeland deep in the first inning to tally his third home run of the season. He later added a single to extend his hitting streak to five games, during which he's chipped in four RBI and four runs scored while maintaining a .273 average. McCutchen has had a strong start to the campaign overall, maintaining a 151 wRC+ and .408 wOBA across 67 plate appearances.

Vogelbach went 1-for-2 with a two-run home run and an additional RBI in Monday's 8-6 victory over the Dodgers.

Vogelbach gave the Mets their first lead with a two-run homer in the second inning. He tacked on another RBI with a run-scoring groundout in the fourth. The homer was the first of the season for the slugger and snapped a three-game hitless streak. Vogelbach is slashing .200/.394/.360 with six RBI and and an 8:4 BB:K over 33 plate appearances on the campaign.

Ohtani did not factor into the decision Monday, allowing zero runs (one earned) through two hitless innings with one walk in the win over the Red Sox. He struck out three.

The 28-year-old exited the game after two hitless innings due to a prolonged rain delay. Ohtani gave up a walk to the Red Sox's leadoff hitter and threw two wild pitches, which led to a run-scoring groundout by Rob Refsnyder in the first inning. Despite his short performance, Ohtani was still impressive and boasts a 0.86 ERA with only two earned runs and 37 strikeouts in 21 innings. He is tentatively set to start again this weekend against Kansas City.

Winker (oblique) is not in the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Mariners, Adam Jude of The Seattle Times reports.

Winker was scratched from the lineup before Sunday's game because of the tightness in his oblique, and he'll sit at least one more game. Brewers manager Craig Counsell did tell reporters that he could be available off the bench after going through pregame warmups, so there is a good chance Winker returns to the lineup in the coming days. Luke Voit is the designated hitter and hitting sixth in his absence.

Pederson (wrist) is scheduled to resume baseball activities either Tuesday or Wednesday, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Pederson was placed on the 10-day injured list Friday with a right wrist injury that required a cortisone shot, but the injection appears to have cleared up the inflammation the 30-year-old had been experiencing. So long as Pederson experiences no setbacks with the wrist upon resuming baseball activities, he'll have a decent chance at being ready to return from the IL when first eligible Saturday.

Soler is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Giants, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

Soler returned from a one-game absence due to a back injury to serve as Miami's designated hitter in Sunday's 5-0 loss to Arizona. He went 1-for-4 with a double in that contest and wasn't reported to have suffered any setbacks with the back injury, so Soler's absence from the lineup Monday is most likely maintenance-related.
