Ohtani went 4-for-5 with a double, a triple, two runs and two RBI in Saturday's 9-6 loss to the Astros.

Ohtani came up a homer short of a cycle, finishing with his second four-hit game of the campaign. His third-inning triple gave the Angels their first run, and the two-way star notched another RBI with a double in the seventh. Ohtani has added to his excellent work on the mound with another big season at the plate -- through 253 plate appearances, he's slashing .274/.348/.540 with 15 homers, 40 RBI, 35 runs and seven stolen bases.

Morel is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Padres.

Morel has not picked up a hit since May 26 against the Reds, and he's seen his average drop from .333 to .270 in the process. Edwin Rios will be the designated hitter and hit seventh against San Diego while Morel sits.

Buxton (ribs) will sit as expected Saturday against the Guardians.

Buxton avoided a fractured rib after getting hit by a pitch Thursday but was nonetheless expected to miss multiple games. He'll miss his second in a row Saturday, with Ryan Jeffers serving as the designated hitter.

Turner will be on the bench for the second half of Saturday's doubleheader against the Rays, Jen McCaffrey of The Athletic reports.

Turner helped the Red Sox to a victory in the afternoon contest, going 2-for-5 with three RBI. He'll rest his 38-year-old legs during the nightcap, with Triston Casas handling first base and Masataka Yoshida serving as the designated hitter.

Stanton will sit Saturday against the Dodgers.

Stanton returned from missing nearly seven weeks with a left hamstring injury and immediately looked like his usual self, hitting a solo homer in Friday's loss. He won't be asked to start two days in a row right away and will continue to have his workload monitored, but he should be in the lineup on a regular basis going forward. Josh Donaldson will be Saturday's designated hitter.

Stanton went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk and an additional run in a loss to the Dodgers on Friday.

Stanton spent almost seven weeks on the IL with a strained left hamstring before making his return to New York's lineup Friday. The slugger didn't seem to miss a beat, as he was one of only two Yankees to reach base multiple times in the loss. Stanton tagged Clayton Kershaw for a solo shot in the fourth inning, giving him five long balls in just 14 contests so far this season. He's been productive when able to play, adding 12 RBI and a .273/.310/.600 slash line over 58 plate appearances, but Stanton's health is a constant concern in fantasy given his assortment of significant injuries over the past several years.

Miller was placed on the 10-day injured list Saturday, retroactive to May 31, with a right oblique strain.

Miller suffered the injury a few days ago and seems likely to miss at least a couple of weeks. Ezequiel Duran (oblique) has been activated off the IL in a corresponding move and will return to the Rangers' starting lineup Saturday versus the Mariners.

Martinez went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run in Friday's 8-4 win against the Yankees.

Martinez cracked a 413-foor solo shot to center field in the third inning for his 13th homer of the season over 166 at-bats. That's just three short of his total with Boston last year in 533 at-bats. The veteran has been particularly hot of late, going deep in four of his past five games and belting eight long balls across his past 12 contests. He also has 19 RBI and a .388/.396/.939 slash during the 12-game stretch.

Rooker is not in the lineup Saturday against the Marlins.

Rooker went on a heater over the first several weeks of 2023 and still has strong overall numbers with an .866 OPS, but he's slashing just .146/.196/.188 with 21 strikeouts in his last 14 games. He also has 11 homers but hasn't hit one since May 12.

The Brewers placed Ruf on the 10-day injured list Saturday with a right knee laceration.

Ruf had to be pulled from Friday's game against Cincinnati after colliding with the tarp while chasing a foul ball, and apparently the damage was significant enough to warrant him being shut down for 10 days. Jon Singleton was selected from Triple-A Nashville in a corresponding move.
