Reyes (hamstring) will begin a rehab assignment Tuesday with Triple-A Columbus, Tom Withers of the Associated Press reports.

Reyes has been out since May 25 with right hamstring tightness. He resumed batting practice Wednesday, and he'll likely get in a couple workouts with the Guardians before heading out on his rehab assignment. It's unclear how many games he'll need at Columbus before he's ready to rejoin the big-league roster.

Winker went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in Friday's 4-3 loss to the Red Sox.

Winker tied the game at 2-2 in the fifth inning, with his homer ending Red Sox starter Rich Hill's night. This was the first time Winker has hit safely in consecutive games since May 19 and 20. The outfielder has a .209/.313/.308 slash line with four homers, 24 RBI, 18 runs scored and nine doubles through 57 contests overall. Despite the lackluster numbers, he appears locked in as the Mariners' main leadoff hitter.

Martinez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk in Friday's 4-3 win over the Mariners.

Martinez went yard in the third inning off Mariners starter Marco Gonzales. In the seventh, Martinez hit into a double play that yielded the Red Sox's last run, though he's not credited with an RBI on that play. He's been solid in June, going 9-for-32 (.281) in his last eight games. The 34-year-old's homer Friday was his first since May 17 and his sixth of the year. He's added a .349/.415/.552 slash line, 24 RBI, 34 runs scored and 21 doubles through 49 contests.

Pederson went 2-for-4 with a stolen base, two RBI and a run scored in Friday's 7-2 win over the Dodgers.

Pederson hit a two-run single in the fifth inning to pad the Giants' lead to 5-2. His steal came in the second inning, and it's just his second theft of the season. The outfielder has never recorded more than six stolen bases in a campaign, so he shouldn't be considered a significant speed threat. He's slashing .265/.337/.565 with 13 homers, 32 RBI, 25 runs scored and five doubles through 166 plate appearances. Pederson should continue to hold down a regular role in left field against right-handed pitchers.

Ruf went 3-for-4 with two home runs and three RBI in Friday's 7-2 win over the Dodgers.

Ruf's contributions Friday were enough to lift the Giants to the win. He took starter Walker Buehler deep in the fourth inning and tacked on another homer in the eighth off David Price. Ruf is now 4-for-15 in four games since returning from the bereavement list. The 35-year-old is up to a .226/.344/.354 slash line with five homers, 20 RBI, 29 runs scored and a pair of stolen bases in 50 contests. He's made three straight starts at first base, so Ruf should be in line for a regular role until Brandon Belt (knee) returns from the injured list.

McCutchen went 3-for-4 with two runs, an RBI, two stolen bases and a strikeout in Friday's 11-5 loss to the Nationals.

The Brewers struggled once again Friday during their seventh consecutive loss, but McCutchen was a bright spot in the team's offense. He didn't have any extra-base hits but showcased his speed with two steals. The 35-year-old has been effective during Milwaukee's losing streak, hitting .346 with a double, four RBI, two runs and two steals over the last seven games.

Manager Scott Servais said Friday that Lewis (concussion) hasn't yet resumed baseball activities, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.

Lewis has been working on his conditioning by riding a stationary bike recently, but he hasn't yet been cleared to ramp up his workload. Since Lewis has been sidelined for nearly two weeks due to his concussion, he'll require a rehab assignment before he's ultimately cleared to rejoin the Mariners.

Miller (hip) was activated off the injured list Friday.

Miller wound up missing the minimum amount of time with right hip tightness. Prior to the injury, he'd hit .228/.270/.421 in 41 games, a lopsided line which was good for a roughly average 98 wRC+. He should return to a role in which he starts against righties at either third base or left field.

Ozuna is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Pirates.

The veteran slugger started the past three games and will receive a day off after going 1-for-10 with a walk and two runs during that stretch. William Contreras will bat seventh as the designated hitter in Ozuna's place.

Choi will sit Friday against the Twins, Neil Solondz of the Rays Radio Network reports.

Choi has made just a single start against a southpaw all season, so he'll unsurprisingly hit the bench here against lefty Devin Smeltzer. Harold Ramirez will handle first base Friday.
