Stanton went 1-for-5 with one homer, one RBI and one run scored in Tuesday's victory over Minnesota.

Stanton hit home run number 12 in the first inning of Tuesday's game. It was his only offensive output of the game, but it helped the Yankees gain an early lead. Stanton was the designated hitter in the game, his third time serving in that role since returning from a stint on the IL for an ankle injury.

Jimenez (hamstring) started in left field and went 1-for-2 on Tuesday during a rehab appearance with Triple-A Charlotte.

Jimenez appeared in the outfield for the second time during his rehab stint. He exited early in the game in a move that was planned to help manage his workload as he continues to build his lower-body strength. Jimenez appears to be nearing activation -- he's accrued 19 plate appearances on his rehab assignment -- though a specific date has not yet been set.

Soler went 2-for-4 with a double and a two-run home run in Tuesday's 12-2 rout of the Nationals.

The 30-year-old slugger took Andres Machado deep in the fourth inning, part of the Marlins' second five-run frame of the night. Soler appears to be coming out of his early-season funk, slashing .273/.385/.636 over his last 12 games with four of his 12 homers on the year.

Blackmon went 1-for-2 with a three-run home run in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Giants.

Blackmon didn't start Tuesday, but he entered the game as a pinch hitter in the sixth inning. He made an instant impact, putting a Jose Alvarez pitch into McCovey Cove for a go-ahead homer, and the Rockies protected the lead from there. Blackmon has homered in each of his last two games, giving him nine for the season. The outfielder has added a .246/.310/.431 slash line with 29 RBI, 26 runs scored and a stolen base in 49 contests. He should continue to draw most of the playing time in right field.

Alvarez went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run, a walk and two runs in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Mariners.

Alvarez walked and scored in the fourth frame before later launching a two-run homer off Ryan Borucki in the bottom of the eighth inning. The long ball was his 17th of the year and third in his last five games. The 24-year-old has now notched at least one hit in eight of his last nine contests, going 16-for-34 with five homers, 11 RBI and 10 runs over that stretch. Alvarez is now batting .289 with 17 home runs, 36 RBI and 37 runs over 180 at-bats in 50 games this season.

Blet (knee) hopes to ramp up his running program over the next few days before returning from the 10-day injured list, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

The 34-year-old received a cortisone injection May 22 after landing on the injured list with right knee inflammation, but he began his running program last week and appears to be nearing his return to the active roster. Belt doesn't believe he'll require a minor-league rehab assignment before being activated, so he could be back with the Giants relatively quickly if he can avoid any setbacks.

Canha is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Padres, Deesha Thosar of the New York Daily News reports.

Canha is coming off back-to-back two-hit games and will head to the bench for the second time in the past four contests. Jeff McNeil will shift to left field while Luis Guillorme starts at the keystone.

Ruf (personal) was activated from the bereavement list Tuesday.

Ruf was away from the team for the past week following the death of his father, but he's now back with the club. The 35-year-old won't immediately rejoin the starting lineup, with Wilmer Flores and Tommy La Stella starting at first base and designated hitter, respectively.

Collins was called up by the Blue Jays on Tuesday, Keegan Matheson of MLB.com reports.

Collins appeared in 20 games earlier in the year, showing a bit of power but not much else, as he hit .194/.278/.387 while striking out 40.6 percent of the time. With Danny Jansen out with a broken hand, Collins will return to serve as Alejandro Kirk's backup behind the plate.

Blackmon isn't starting Tuesday's game against the Giants.

Blackmon will get a rare day off after he went 2-for-14 with a solo home run and two strikeouts over the last three games. Yonathan Daza, Garrett Hampson and Randal Grichuk will start in the outfield from left to right.
