Belt (neck) is no longer listed in the starting lineup for Sunday's game versus the Cardinals, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.

Belt was originally penciled in to start at first base Sunday, but he'll instead be sidelined with the neck stiffness that led to his early exit Saturday. He should be considered day-to-day for now, while Darin Ruf starts at first base in his place. For what it's worth, Belt told Steve Kroner of the San Francisco Chronicle that he doesn't believe the neck issue will keep him on the bench beyond Sunday's game.

The 34-year-old went 0-for-1 with three walks and two runs before leaving Saturday's contest with neck stiffness, but he's back in the lineup for Sunday's series finale. Saturday's game was Belt's first action since April 27 due to a stint on the COVID-19 injured list.

Beer is not in the lineup Sunday against the Rockies.

The lefty-hitting Beer, mired in an 0-for-32 stretch, will sit for the second consecutive game Sunday, this time with a right-hander in German Marquez pitching for Colorado. Cooper Hummel will bat leadoff as the designated hitter in the series finale.

Collins is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Guardians.

Collins will sit for the second game in a row after he was on the bench for the second game of Saturday's doubleheader with Cleveland. He'll continue to pick up work behind the plate on the days top backstop Alejandro Kirk gets a breather, but Collins' opportunities to make starts at designated hitter could take a hit following Teoscar Hernandez's recent return from the injured list.

Buxton won't start in Sunday's game against the Athletics while he tends to what the Twins have called a "low-level right hip strain," Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports.

Buxton is considered day-to-day, but on a fortunate note, the injury isn't related to the previous hip issues that have dogged the 28-year-old in past years. Though fantasy managers could have some justified skepticism about Buxton's chances of avoiding a trip to the IL, the Twins have emphasized that his injury is mild and isn't anything that will result in a prolonged shutdown. The team is hopeful that after Monday's team off day, Buxton will be back in the lineup for Tuesday's series opener with the Astros.

Solak is out of the lineup for Game 1 of Sunday's doubleheader with the Yankees.

Solak has a clearer path to playing time against right-handed pitching following Willie Calhoun's recent demotion to Triple-A Round Rock, but the former will nonetheless find himself on the bench versus a righty (Gerrit Cole) for the second game in a row. Rather than leaning on Solak as a direct replacement for Calhoun, the Rangers are more likely to rotate a number of different players in the designated-hitter spot.

Ruf went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run, a walk and an additional run scored in a 13-7 win against St. Louis on Saturday.

Ruf hit one of three homers across the two first innings for the Giants on Saturday, as his two-run shot staked the team to an early five-run lead. The veteran came into the contest without a long ball on the campaign after smacking a career-best 16 homers last season. Ruf has had a rough start to 2022, slashing .190/.296/.240 through 115 plate appearances.

Canha is out of the lineup for Game 1 of Sunday's doubleheader against the Phillies, Deesha Thosar of the New York Daily News reports.

Canha will take a seat for the second time in the past three games, though he figures to rejoin the lineup for Sunday's nightcap. Jeff McNeil will shift to left field while Luis Guillorme starts at the keystone.

Reyes went 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBI in an 8-2 win over the Blue Jays in the second game of Saturday's doubleheader.

After going 1-for-3 with a walk in the matinee, Reyes crushed a Ross Stripling offering in the third inning of the nightcap for a solo shot before adding an RBI single a couple frames later. Reyes also whiffed three more times across both games, however, and while his current five-game hitting streak is encouraging, his .474 batting average (9-for-19) over that stretch also comes with a 38.1 percent strikeout rate. On the season, the 26-year-old still sports a rough .204/.245/.301 slash line with three homers, 10 RBI and a shocking 4:43 BB:K in 23 contests.

Soler went 2-for-5 with a grand slam and a double in an 8-0 win over the Padres on Saturday.

Soler was retired in each of his first three at-bats before roping a double in the eighth inning and connecting on a grand slam in the ninth to double Miami's lead. The 30-year-old was in the midst of a 3-for-23 slump prior to the pair of extra-base hits and is now slashing .178/.284/.347 with four long balls, eight runs and 12 RBI in 27 games.
