Alvarez went 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run scored in Tuesday's 5-1 win over the Red Sox.

Alvarez was back in the lineup after missing five games with a sore right wrist. He slotted into his customary four hole.

Ramirez went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a stolen base during Tuesday's 6-5 win over the White Sox.

The 26-year-old came through in the clutch, delivering a pair of singles with runners in scoring position. Ramirez has a .256/.297/.407 slash line with two homers, seven doubles, 10 RBI, two stolen bases and 10 runs through 28 games.

McCutchen went 2-for-3 with two home runs, four total RBI and two walks in Tuesday's win over the Reds.

McCutchen hadn't gone deep since May 19 but delivered a vintage power display, as he recorded his second two-homer game of the campaign -- he had already accomplished this feat May 4 against the Brewers. Even though the veteran outfielder is not the player he once was, he's been a reliable fantasy contributor with nine homers, 25 RBI and 24 runs scored despite hitting just .209 across 215 plate appearances.

Ford was optioned to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre following Tuesday's win over the Rays.

Ford was 0-for-3 with three strikeouts Tuesday before being replaced by a pinch hitter, dropping his slash line to .133/.278/.283 over 22 games this season. Miguel Andujar and DJ LeMahieu should work at first base for New York until Luke Voit (oblique) can return from the injured list.

Cabrera was removed from Tuesday's game at Milwaukee as a precaution due to left groin tightness.

The veteran slugger went 2-for-4 with a double, three RBI and a run scored prior to exiting the contest. Cabrera will have Wednesday's scheduled off day to aid in his recovery before potentially missing any time.

Dickerson is not starting Tuesday's game against the Angels, Alex Pavlovic of reports.

Having started just two games against lefty pitchers all season, Dickerson sits against Andrew Heaney. The day off doesn't come at a terrible time for the 31-year-old, who's hitless with five strikeouts in his last 12 at-bats. Mike Tauchman fills in for Dickerson as the left fielder Tuesday.

Ohtani is sitting for the second consecutive game in San Francisco, Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times reports.

The two-way star will be available as a pinch hitter after walking in his lone plate appearance Monday. Ohtani figures to return to the everyday lineup when not pitching once the Angels return to American League rules Thursday.

Buxton (hip) has been sprinting while running the bases recently, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.

Buxton had recently dealt with issues decelerating, but it's encouraging to see him ramping up his intensity recently. His running Tuesday went well, but the team wants to see how he responds in the near future. If all goes well, the 27-year-old could be nearing a rehab assignment.

Lewis was placed on the 10-day injured list with a right meniscus tear Tuesday.

Lewis left Monday's win over Oakland with right knee discomfort, and he's now been diagnosed with a torn meniscus. It's not yet clear whether the injury will require surgery, but the 25-year-old seems likely to spend more than the minimum 10 days on the injured list. Jake Fraley could see increased playing time in Lewis' absence, and Taylor Trammell was recalled from Triple-A Tacoma in a corresponding move.

Stanton isn't starting Tuesday's game against the Rays.

Stanton will get a breather after he went 0-for-7 with two walks and four strikeouts across the last two games. Aaron Judge will serve as the designated hitter while Clint Frazier starts in right field.
