Warren will be placed on the 15-day injured list by the Angels before Wednesday's game with the Athletics with right elbow discomfort, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.

Warren felt the discomfort while playing catch before Tuesday's game and was unavailable for the contest. The right-hander will be shut down for three days before being reevaluated, and there is no MRI scheduled as of yet, Sarah Valenzuela of the Los Angeles Times reports. The Angels will recall Chase Silseth from Triple-A Salt Lake in a corresponding move.

Silseth is being recalled from Triple-A Salt Lake by the Angels on Wednesday, Sam Blum of The Athletic reports.

Silseth was scratched from his start for Salt Lake on Tuesday due to the pending promotion, as opposed to the blister issue that caused him to leave his previous start early. The right-hander will replace Austin Warren, who was sidelined with an undisclosed injury before Tuesday's win over the A's. Silseth could make starts for the Angels before the end of the year, but fantasy GMs will likely want to see him officially join the rotation before adding him to their redraft rosters.

Foley fired 1.1 scoreless innings and recorded two strikeouts to earn the save Tuesday in Milwaukee.

The 27-year-old recorded the final out of the eighth inning and retired the side in order during the ninth with ease, taking advantage of the fact Alex Lange was apparently unavailable after he pitched each of the previous two days. Foley and Lange now have two saves apiece this season, though Lange should still be considered the favorite to close since he's dominated work in the ninth inning (seven appearances).

Sewald picked up the save Tuesday against Philadelphia, allowing a run on two hits while striking out two over one inning.

Sewald, pitching with a three-run lead, surrendered a leadoff double to Alec Bohm, who'd come around to score on a Jake Cave single. However, Sewald would strike out Bryson Stott to end the game and pick up the save. The 32-year-old Sewald has allowed a run in each of his last two outings, though he's still a perfect 7-for-7 in save opportunities this season. He now has a 3.46 ERA, 0.85 WHIP and 17:3 K:BB through 13 innings to start the year.

Englert (1-1) tossed 2.2 scoreless innings of relief to earn the win Tuesday against the Brewers. He allowed one hit and struck out four.

Detroit starter Spencer Turnbull only lasted four innings, so the Tigers needed Englert and others to provide some length out of the bullpen. The righty responded with a strong performance. Englert has been mostly good this season outside of allowing five runs over two innings back on April 11. He's also done a solid job of missing bats, as he now has 16 strikeouts across 16 frames this year.

Faucher will start Wednesday's game against the Astros, Kristie Ackert of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Faucher will be making his third consecutive start, and though he was limited to two innings his last time out Friday versus the White Sox, he built up to a season-high 46 pitches. The Rays' decision not to make Faucher available in relief between either of his last two starts seems to imply that he won't be deployed as a traditional opener Wednesday, so he could bump his pitch count a little bit more. Even so, Josh Fleming is expected to work multiple innings behind Faucher, per Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times, so a piggyback arrangement between the two pitchers could be in the works. Since Faucher isn't likely to work deep enough into Wednesday's contest to qualify for a win, Fleming probably represents the preferred streaming option between the two.

Silseth (finger) was scratched from his start for Triple-A Salt Lake on Tuesday, Taylor Blake Ward of The Sporting Tribune reports.

Silseth left his start with the Bees on Thursday with a blister issue, so it's very possible the right-hander's absence is related to the same problem. The 22-year-old is considered one of the best pitching prospects in the system, and he could be making starts for the Angels this summer if healthy.

Wingenter (biceps) is completing rehab daily and will be re-assessed for throwing at the end of the week, Cody Stavenhagen of The Athletic reports.

Wingenter was placed on the injured list retroactive to April 19 with right biceps tendinitis. The right-hander could return to the Detroit bullpen around the start of May, but his timeline will be largely determined by when he can begin his throwing program.

Brieske (arm) completed a live BP session at the Tigers' spring training facility in Lakeland on Tuesday, Cody Stavenhagen of The Athletic reports.

Brieske is scheduled to throw another live session later in the week. The right-hander was diagnosed with right ulnar nerve entrapment and underwent a hydrodissection procedure to treat the issue in his right arm. There's no timetable for when Brieske will be able to return to the mound at this point.

Walter has a 4.19 ERA, 1.45 WHIP and 11:7 K:BB in 19.1 innings through four starts for Triple-A Worcester.

The best stat in Walter's profile early on is his 50.8 percent groundball rate, and even that's notably worse than his career norms. He showed an excellent ability to pound the zone and also pile up strikeouts in the lower levels, but his 12.9 percent strikeout rate is the second-lowest mark among qualified International League starters.
