Pressly (5-1) earned the win in relief Thursday against the Royals after tossing a scoreless ninth inning, allowing two hits.

Pressly gave up singles to Carlos Santana and Hunter Dozier, and he found himself with runners on the corners and two outs, but he retired Hanser Alberto on a groundout to come away unscathed. An offensive explosion in the top of the 10th allowed him to earn the win, but perhaps more importantly, Pressly has now tossed five straight scoreless outings.

Warren earned the save Thursday against the Tigers after tossing two perfect innings with a pair of strikeouts.

Warren entered in the eighth inning and shut down the Tigers on just seven pitches. With Raisel Iglesias having pitched the night before, Warren stayed in to close things out in the ninth, this time doing so on 10 pitches to pick up his first career save. The right-hander has compiled a solid 2.08 ERA and 1.08 WHIP across 13 innings at the big-league level this year.

Sewald allowed an unearned run on one hit and no walks while striking out one across one inning to earn the save Thursday against the Rangers.

Sewald pitched the 11th inning and was given a two-run lead to work with. He allowed only a two-out single, though that allowed the designated runner to score from second base. Sewald recorded the final out one batter later, and he now has six saves on the season. It is worth noting that Diego Castillo was brought into the game in a save situation in the ninth inning, and he surrendered a three-run home run to lose the lead. In addition to Castillo and Sewald, Drew Steckenrider has also factored into the Mariners' closer picture of late. Sewald has two of the team's five saves since Castillo was added to the roster.

Sulser struck out one and walked one in a scoreless inning during Thursday's 7-2 loss to Tampa Bay.

While Sulser has seen high-leverage work as recently as late July, Baltimore's 15-game losing streak has left him little opportunity to pitch with the team ahead. The 31-year-old has given up two runs on four hits and two walks over 5.2 innings through six August appearances. He owns a reasonable 2.80 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 56:20 K:BB across 45 innings while adding five saves and three holds this year.

Howard allowed five earned runs on five hits and one walk while striking out three across two innings Thursday against the Mariners. He did not factor into the decision.

Howard was seemingly in line for a more traditional starting role in this appearance after serving as a tandem starter with Taylor Hearn in each of his last two outings. However, Howard was hit hard early and was denied the opportunity to work even into the middle of the game. In three appearances since joining the Rangers, Howard has allowed eight earned runs across 7.1 frames while striking out nine and walking three.

Trivino allowed allowed one unearned run on one hit and also struck out one to earn the save Thursday against the White Sox.

Trivino allowed a leadoff single but retired the next two batters he faced. He should have gotten out of the inning without a run crossing the plate, but the leadoff runner came around to score on an error by Elvis Andrus. Even so, Trivino managed to record the final out to lock in his 20th save of the season. He's now gone nine consecutive outings without allowing an earned run, which has brought his ERA down to 1.75 across 56.2 frames on the campaign.

Green allowed one earned run on one hit while striking out two in the ninth inning, earning the save in the win over the Twins on Thursday.

Green entered in the ninth inning with a three-run lead and surrendered a solo home run to Miguel Sano, but he managed to retire the other three batters to earn his sixth save of the season. Aroldis Chapman was reinstated from the injured list Wednesday but struggled in his return, providing Green another ninth-inning opportunity Thursday. He's picked up three saves in his last three appearances since blowing two leads earlier in August, though he's unlikely to see regular save chances now that Chapman is healthy. Green carries a 3.13 ERA and 0.85 WHIP with a 10.4 K/9 in 63.1 innings.

Fulmer (5-5) allowed three runs on three hits in one inning of work to take the loss Thursday against the Angels. He walked one and struck out one.

Fulmer came on in the seventh inning and allowed an inherited runner to score before getting out of the frame. However, things really got out of hand in the eighth as the Angels scored three times, with the key play a two-run home run by Max Stassi. Fulmer saw his ERA climb from 3.26 to 3.73 after the rough outing, though he should remain in the late-inning mix with the Tigers not having a dominant closer. Gregory Soto and Jose Cisnero should also continue to see save opportunities.

Junis (undisclosed) was reinstated from the 7-day minor-league injured list Thursday, Alec Lewis of The Athletic reports.

Junis had been on the injured list since July 9, although the nature of his injury still isn't clear. However, the right-hander recently began a rehab assignment and allowed three runs in 5.1 innings across three starts in the rookie-level Arizona Complex League. He'll start Thursday's game at Triple-A Omaha now that he's fully healthy.

Bolanos' (elbow) rehab assignment has been transferred to Double-A Northwest Arkansas.

Bolanos appeared in his first rehab game Aug. 13 and has allowed six runs in 2.1 innings across two relief appearances since then. The right-hander is scheduled to pitch at Double-A Northwest Arkansas on Friday as he continues to ramp up following his two-month absence due to a right flexor strain.
