Hearn allowed one run on two hits, four walks and hit a batter while striking out three over four relief innings in Wednesday's 2-1 loss to Seattle.

In what was largely a positive outing for Hearn, the left-hander allowed the tying run to score in the sixth inning before finishing up with a 1-2-3 seventh. Hearn pitched in relief of starter Spencer Howard, whose innings have been capped since arriving from the Phillies at the trade deadline. Aside from walking too many batters, Hearn has pitched well in six outings since the All-Star break, posting a 1.96 ERA over 18.1 innings.

Pressly walked one and struck out two over a scoreless ninth inning in Wednesday's 5-1 win over the Rockies.

Pressly, who hadn't pitched in four days, entered in a non-save situation and shut the door on Colorado. All three of his appearances since coming off the paternity list have been of the non-save variety. All three featured the combination of Ryne Stanek (seventh inning), Kendall Graveman (eighth) and Pressly (ninth). The once-beleaguered Astros bullpen has become boring of late, which is fine by manager Dusty Baker. That trio of relievers have combined to pitch 13.1 scoreless innings with four hits, two walks and 19 strikeouts since the trade deadline.

Lopez could start in place of Carlos Rodon (shoulder) the next turn through the rotation, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Lopez filled in Wednesday with Rodon placed on the injured list and expected to be sidelined beyond the 10-day minimum. If manager Tony La Russa sticks with Lopez, who pitched three scoreless innings Wednesday, the start is expected to come during the three-game series against Oakland that runs from Tuesday to Thursday next week.

Fleming (9-6) allowed 10 earned runs on 11 hits and six walks while striking out three across 3.1 innings to take the loss Wednesday against the Red Sox.

Fleming couldn't get on track at any point in the outing. He allowed doubles to each of the first three batters he faced and two more extra-base hits in the second inning. He managed a scoreless third frame before imploding by allowing five additional earned runs in the fourth inning prior to being pulled. Though Fleming entered the game with a respectable 4.12 ERA and 1.18 WHIP, he has been hit hard on several occasions. After Wednesday's outing, he has surrendered five or more earned runs in four of his 19 appearances this season.

Sandlin was removed from Wednesday's loss to the A's with right shoulder tightness, Mandy Bell of MLB.com reports.

Sandlin threw 10 pitches and gave up two hits and three runs without recording an out before leaving with the injury. He was charged with the loss and a blown save. It's unclear if he'll require a stint on the injured list.

Trivino allowed one hit in a scoreless inning to secure the save Wednesday against Cleveland.

Trivino entered the game in the ninth inning to protect a 6-3 lead, and he allowed just a Myles Straw single before nailing down his 19th save in 21 chances this season. Trivino has now gone seven straight appearances without allowing an earned run. The 29-year-old owns a sparkling 1.81 ERA and 1.15 WHIP in 54.2 innings on the year while limiting opponents to a .193 batting average.

Soto worked around a hit and a walk to pitch a scoreless ninth inning and earn the save Wednesday against the Orioles.

Soto allowed a leadoff single and a two-out walk, but the lefty was staked to a somewhat comfortable 5-2 lead and was able to close things out without any damage. The lefty now has a team-high 14 saves in 15 chances this season and should continue to lead the way in the Detroit bullpen. Right-handed options Michael Fulmer and Jose Cisnero should continue to see some save opportunities depending on matchups, but Soto is the best fantasy asset of the bunch right now.

Green (6-5) allowed one hit and struck out three in two scoreless innings, earning the win Wednesday versus Kansas City.

The right-hander was awarded the win in a bullpen game that the Yankees led nearly wire-to-wire. Green has been excellent in a versatile role this year with a 3.05 ERA, 0.85 WHIP and 66:12 K:BB through 59 innings. While he covered the sixth and seventh innings Wednesday, Green could also compete with Jonathan Loaisiga and Zack Britton for save chances while Aroldis Chapman (elbow) is on the injured list. Green has logged three saves and 15 holds in 47 appearances.

Luetge allowed a run on two hits and struck out one in two innings in a no-decision versus Kansas City on Wednesday.

Serving as an opener in his first major-league start, Luetge gave up a hit in each of his two innings and allowed Whit Merrifield to score on a Salvador Perez groundout. Luetge has been an effective bullpen arm for the Yankees this year, pitching to a 2.82 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 61:9 K:BB through 54.1 innings overall. He's added three holds and two blown saves, but he has yet to see a large run of high-leverage work.

Naughton was optioned to Triple-A Salt Lake on Wednesday.

Naughton was promoted from Triple-A last week and allowed a run on two hits with a walk and zero strikeouts in one inning during his major-league debut. He could rejoin the big-league club down the stretch, especially once the minor-league season ends.
