Trivino earned the save against the Angels on Friday, allowing one hit in one scoreless inning.

Oakland's closer allowed the tying run to reach base when Justin Upton led off the ninth with a double to left field, but Trivino bounced back to retire the next three batters on groundouts. The save was Trivino's fourth in July, and he has posted a 1.59 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 10:7 K:BB across 11.1 innings this month.

Jax did not factor in the decision against St. Louis on Friday. He hurled five innings, allowing one run on two hits and two walks while striking out two.

The right-hander was called up early Friday and given the start in place of the recently-traded Jose Berrios. Jax navigated his way through five frames, giving up only one run and no extra-base hits, but settled for a no-decision as the Twins' offense gave him just one run of support. The rookie by no means overpowered the Cardinals -- he induced a mere four swinging strikes -- yet he made a good impression in his bid to claim Berrios' spot in the rotation. Jax still holds an unimpressive 6.41 ERA on the campaign, but he has allowed just two runs over his past nine innings of work.

Mejia allowed four runs on four hits and four walks over 4.1 innings in Friday's loss to the White Sox. He struck out two and did not factor in the decision.

Through three innings of work, the only real damage against Mejia was a solo blast by Yoan Moncada in the second. He then coughed up two more runs in the fourth and one final run in the fifth. It was his fifth straight outing giving up four or more runs, yielding 25 runs through 21.1 innings (10.55 ERA) during that span. On the year, the right-handed rookie owns a 7.20 ERA through 13 appearances. For now, he's projected to face the Blue Jays on the road next week.

Hendriks struck out two batters in a perfect ninth inning Friday, earning a save over Cleveland.

Hendriks was his usual dominant self Friday, recording two strikeouts and preserving the 6-4 lead while needing only 16 pitches (11 strikes). The 32-year-old righty is sporting a 2.53 ERA and he's converted 26 of his 31 save opportunities. It's unclear how he and Craig Kimbrel will split save chances moving forward, but Hendriks will still be worth rostering in most fantasy formats, largely due to his insane 73:5 K:BB through 46.1 frames.

Raley is appealing a three-game suspension for intentionally throwing at J.P. Crawford on Monday, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Raley will be eligible to pitch while he awaits a decision on his appeal. The southpaw has allowed three runs on two hits and three walks while striking out three in 2.1 innings across four relief appearances since the start of July.

Anderson's (elbow) scheduled rehab outing for Triple-A Durham was delayed due to "COVID-related issues," according to manager Kevin Cash, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

It's unclear whether Anderson has tested positive for the virus himself, as Cash declined to provide further details. That also means it's difficult to say how much his return timeline will be altered.

Hall is not expected to pitch again this season after tests revealed a stress reaction in his elbow, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

Hall has been out since mid-June with what was originally called elbow soreness. He was expected to ramp up his throwing program but will instead be shut down for the year.

Quijada was recalled from Triple-A Salt Lake on Friday.

Quijada was sent to the minors June 27, but he'll rejoin the major-league club ahead of Friday's series opener against the Athletics. The southpaw has given up five runs in 3.2 innings across his three relief appearances in the majors this year, and he should serve mainly as a low-leverage option.

Fleming (8-5) allowed three runs on eight hits and two walks with seven strikeouts in five innings, earning the win over Boston on Friday.

It was by no means a pretty performance for the 25-year-old, but Tampa Bay's offense gave him plenty of support in the win. Friday was the first time Fleming completed five innings since June 19, when he went 6.1 innings against Seattle. The southpaw has a reasonable 4.15 ERA to go with a 1.19 WHIP and 51:22 K:BB across 82.1 innings, but he'll have little appeal outside of AL-only formats if he doesn't work deeper into games. His next start is expected to come versus Seattle next week.

Chapman struck out one in a perfect inning to earn the save in Friday's 3-1 win over Miami.

The Yankees' closer has converted saves in his last four appearances, and he's allowed just one run in his last nine innings. Chapman had a rough stretch from late June to early July, but he's effectively put that behind him. He is 21-for-25 in save chances with a 3.82 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and 65:27 K:BB through 37.2 innings overall.
