Paredes (side) will make his second rehab appearance Saturday for Double-A Corpus Christi, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

Paredes threw an inning in his first rehab outing Wednesday and is scheduled to throw one-plus Saturday. Manager Dusty Baker said the reliever will throw two innings in few days before being activated off the 10-day injured list.

Diekman (2-0) earned the win against Tampa Bay on Friday, striking out both batters he faced in the ninth inning.

Diekman entered the contest with one out in the top of the ninth inning and the score tied 1-1. He made quick work of Brandon Lowe and Yandy Diaz, needing nine pitches to retire both batters. The southpaw was then credited with the win after Seth Brown hit a walkoff homer in the bottom of the frame. Diekman has been impressive over 14 innings this season, registering a 1.93 ERA and 20:5 K:BB along with three saves and three holds.

Manaea completed 7.1 innings against Tampa Bay on Friday, allowing one run on two hits and one walk while striking out 10. He did not factor in the decision.

For six innings, Manaea looked like he could be in for a special night, as the southpaw retired 18 straight Rays batters. The potential perfect game came to an end on a leadoff walk in the seventh inning, but Manaea still entered the eighth with a no-hitter intact. Tampa Bay quickly struck for a run on a double and a single, however, and Manaea soon exited the game with no chance for a win. Despite the disappointing ending, there was plenty to like about the veteran hurler's performance; among other highlights, he struck out a season-high 10 batters and notched his fourth quality start of the campaign. Manaea has now given up one or fewer runs in four of his seven starts, leading to a steady 3.07 ERA. His next start will likely take place in Boston on Thursday.

Graveman worked around a hit in a scoreless ninth inning Friday, striking out three batters and picking up a save against Texas.

Graveman allowed a one-out double to David Dahl but struck out the other three Rangers that came to the plate. He's now converted all four of his save chances and has yet to give up a run through 14.1 innings this season.

Loaisiga (3-2) allowed five runs (four earned) on four hits and no walks while striking out one in one-third of an inning to take the loss against the Nationals on Friday.

Loaisiga hadn't allowed more than one run in any of his first 14 relief appearances this year, but he was hit hard in the eighth inning Friday and was charged with his second loss of the season. The right-hander has now posted a 2.89 ERA and 0.96 WHIP in 18.2 innings in 2021.

Hendriks allowed two hits and struck out two batters over a scoreless ninth inning to earn a save over Kansas City on Friday.

Hendriks coughed up a leadoff double to Salvador Perez and eventually found himself in a bases-loaded jam with two outs. He forced Nicky Lopez to fly out and earned his sixth save in eight chances on the year. The 32-year-old righty lowered his season ERA to 3.55 over 12.2 frames.

Lowther will start Saturday's game against the Red Sox, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

Lowther made his major-league debut April 25, allowing one hit and no walks while striking out one in a scoreless relief inning. The southpaw will now make his first big-league start at home against the Red Sox.

Clase (2-2) allowed three runs (two earned) on three hits and failed to record an out Friday, taking the loss versus Cincinnati.

He committed a throwing error that led to Cincinnati's first run, and his balk led to a second run. Mike Moustakas added an RBI single before Phil Maton relieved Clase and finished the inning. The 23-year-old hadn't given up an earned run in 14.1 innings entering Friday, but he had allowed three unearned runs. Clase now has a 1.26 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 15:3 K:BB in 16 outings. He's gone 6-for-7 on save chances and is unlikely to lose his spot at the top of Cleveland's closer pecking order after one bad outing.

Yarbrough was placed on the COVID-19 injured list Friday due to side effects from the vaccine, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Yarbrough tentatively lines up to make his next start Tuesday, and he'll be eligible to return from the injured list as soon as his side effects subside. Kevan Smith was called up to serve as catching depth after Francisco Mejia (ribs) was scratched from Friday's lineup.

Fleming (2-3) was credited with his second victory in a win over the Angels on Thursday, allowing three earned runs on six hits and a walk. He struck out three.

Fleming got his 15 outs on a relatively efficient 67 pitches, with his one big mistake coming in the form of a Shohei Ohtani two-run home run that he allowed in his first inning on the hill. The versatile southpaw has yet to allow more than three earned runs in any one outing, and Thursday's performance leaves his ERA and WHIP at a solid 2.81 and 1.13, respectively.
