Connor Sadzeck RP | MIN
Rangers' Connor Sadzeck: Turns third scoreless outing
Sadzeck walked two in a scoreless inning Monday against the Rockies.
Sadzeck had retired all six batters faced in his first two spring outings but wasn't as clean Monday. The walks are an issue for Sadzeck, who ceded 11 free bases over 9.1 innings with the Rangers last September. In that sense, he's much like Ranger closer Jose Leclerc, who overcame control issues to become a dominant reliever.

Reynaldo Lopez RP | ATL
White Sox's Reynaldo Lopez: Makes second spring start
Lopez allowed four runs on four hits and two walks while striking out two in Monday's game against the Angels.
Lopez has been knocked around in two spring starts, giving up six runs and nine hits over 5.1 innings. There's reason for optimism after he finished with a 3.91 ERA (12th among right-handers) over 188.2 innings last season.

Alex Colome RP | CHW
White Sox's Alex Colome: Tosses perfect inning
Colome retired all three batters faced in Monday's game against the Angels.
Colome has appeared in two spring games, setting down the side in order each time. Manager Rick Renteria hasn't named a closer yet, but Colome is expected to fill the role.

Gregory Soto RP | PIT
Tigers' Gregory Soto: Optioned to Double-A
Soto (suspension) was optioned to Double-A Erie on Monday.
Soto will spend the first 20 games of the season suspended for conduct detrimental to baseball. Once the suspension is up, Soto will be in line for his first taste of Double-A after recording a 4.45 ERA in 113.1 innings for High-A Lakeland last season.

Joe Jimenez RP | ATL
Tigers' Joe Jimenez: On pitching schedule Monday
Jimenez (arm) is listed among the Tigers' available bullpen arms for Monday's Grapefruit League game against the Cardinals, Jason Beck of MLB.com reports.
Jimenez has been limited to only two appearances so far during Grapefruit League play while managing muscle soreness in his right arm. The 23-year-old hasn't reported any setbacks since reporting to spring training in February, so he'll presumably be able to get enough innings in over the rest of Grapefruit League play to erase any concern about his availability for Opening Day. Jimenez is set to work as one of the Tigers' top setup options for closer Shane Greene this season.

Miguel Romero RP | ATH
Athletics' Miguel Romero: Sent to minor-league camp
Romero was reassigned to minor-league camp Sunday, Jane Lee of MLB.com reports.
Romero picked up a save but ended his time in big-league camp with a 9.00 ERA over 2.0 innings. He reached Double-A for the first time in his career in 2018, but he struggled to a 6.00 ERA with 33 punchouts across 30.0 frames.

Kyle Finnegan RP | DET
Athletics' Kyle Finnegan: Sent to minor-league camp
Finnegan was reassigned to minor-league camp Sunday, Jane Lee of MLB.com reports.
Finnegan failed to impress during his brief stint with the major-league club, allowing six runs over his lone inning of action. The 27-year-old right-hander split time between Double-A and Triple-A in 2018, although he found more success in Double-A with the Rockhounds (2.16 ERA over 25.0 frames).

Ryan Pressly RP | CHC
Astros' Ryan Pressly: Fans three in debut
Pressly struck out the side on 14 pitches (12 strikes) in Sunday's game against Washington.
Pressly impressed in his spring debut, picking up where he left off last year, when he ended the regular season with a 21-game scoreless streak. "There's still a lot of stuff I need to clean up for me personally," Pressly told Brian McTaggart of MLB.com. "I spun the ball really well and threw my offspeed pitches for strikes. The fastball was a little bit up in the zone, but we'll clean that up throughout spring. I was happy with today." He was a key stabilizer in the bullpen last year, posting a 0.77 ERA and 0.60 WHIP in 26 games after Houston acquired him from Minnesota. He'll serve as the eighth-inning bridge to closer Roberto Osuna and will be first in line for save opportunities when Osuna is not available.

Daniel Norris RP | CLE
Tigers' Daniel Norris: Struggles Sunday with long ball
Norris allowed three runs on four hits over 1.2 innings and took the loss in Sunday's Grapefruit League game against the Yankees. He walked one and struck out two.
Norris was victimized by three solo home runs in his short outing, which is a bit concerning after his HR/9 jumped from 1.06 in 2017 to 1.62 a season ago. The spike in home run rate coincided with a career-worst 5.68 ERA in 2018, and the 25-year-old lefty will need to have a good spring if he wants to earn a rotation spot to begin the year.
