Tyler Rogers RP | TOR
Giants' Tyler Rogers: Snags first win
Rogers (1-4) pitched a perfect inning and struck out one to earn the extra-inning win over the Cardinals on Wednesday.
The Giants were down to their last out at one point, but Mike Yastrzemski hit a two-run home run to tie it in the ninth inning. Rogers kept it tied, and the team rallied again in the 10th. Rogers has strung together 8.1 consecutive scoreless innings, and it's been 12.2 frames since he last gave up an earned run. He's worked as a setup man to great effect with a 1.65 ERA, 0.98 WHIP, 25:11 K:BB, 13 holds, two saves and a blown save over 32.2 innings this season. His 3.0 BB/9 and 3.63 FIP are both the worst marks of his career, however, which suggests he could see some regression.

Jesse Chavez RP | ATL
Braves' Jesse Chavez: Significant leg soreness
Chavez woke up Thursday with a "very sore" left leg, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.
Chavez took a 99-mph one-hop comebacker off his shin while making a relief appearance Wednesday afternoon against the Tigers. X-rays came back negative, but he'll likely be unavailable for a portion of Atlanta's four-game series against the Rockies, which gets underway Thursday night at Truist Park. There's a possibility that he could be placed on the injured list.

Camilo Doval RP | NYY
Giants' Camilo Doval: Bags 18th save
Doval struck out two and worked around a walk in a scoreless inning en route to claiming his 18th save of the season Wednesday in the Giants' 8-5 extra-inning win over the Cardinals.
The Giants spotted Doval a three-run lead heading into the bottom of the 10th to provide the closer with plenty of cushion as he navigated a relatively low-stress save situation. Doval has now converted 18 of 19 save chances to date to go with sterling ratios (1.80 ERA, 1.00 WHIP, 24.4 K-BB%), making him one of the more valuable fantasy closers so far this season.

Jose Alvarado RP | PHI
Phillies' Jose Alvarado: Picks up first save since IL
Alvarado picked up the save in Wednesday's 4-3 extra-inning win over Arizona, allowing one walk and no hits while striking out one over a scoreless inning.
Alvarado made his third appearance since being reinstated from the injured list last Friday, but Wednesday's outing was his first save chance since May 3. Craig Kimbrel worked the ninth, but the two figure to split save opportunities moving forward now that they're both healthy. Kimbrel is a perfect 9-for-9 as a closer and has an elite 41:13 K:BB across 28 appearances (26 innings) but sports a questionable 4.85 ERA, while Alvarado is 6-for-8 as a closer but boasts better overall numbers (1.04 ERA, 0.87 WHIP and 29:4 K:BB across 17.1 innings).

Alexis Diaz RP | TEX
Reds' Alexis Diaz: Secures 17th save
Diaz picked up the save Wednesday against Kansas City, striking out one over two-thirds of a scoreless inning. He didn't allow a hit or walk.
Daniel Duarte started the ninth but recorded just one out before being replaced by Diaz, who entered with a three-run lead and runners on second and third. The latter hit the first batter he faced to load the bases, but he got back-to-back outs to end the frame, including a strikeout of Freddy Fermin. Diaz has yet to blow a save this season and sports a 1.61 ERA, 0.79 WHIP and 50:12 K:BB over 29 appearances (28 innings). The right-hander's 17 saves ties him with Felix Bautista for fifth most in MLB.

Giovanny Gallegos RP | LAD
Cardinals' Giovanny Gallegos: Allows game-tying homer
Gallegos blew the save in Wednesday's 8-5 loss to the Giants, allowing a two-run home run while striking out two and walking one across one inning.
Gallegos appeared to be working his way out of trouble after issuing a leadoff walk to LaMonte Wade Jr. to begin the ninth, retiring the next two batters he faced. He then got ahead 0-2 in the count before running it full and eventually surrendering a game-tying, two-run home run to Mike Yastrzemski. The reliever would get out of the inning with the score still tied 5-5, though the Cardinals fell in the 10th for their fifth straight loss. Gallegos has now blown two of his last three save attempts while also allowing three home runs so far in June. He had allowed just two home runs all season coming into this month.

A.J. Minter RP | NYM
Braves' A.J. Minter: Notches save No. 10
Minter struck out the only batter he faced to record his 10th save of the season in a 6-5 win over the Tigers during the second game of Wednesday's doubleheader.
Raisel Iglesias worked the ninth inning in the matinee in a non-save situation, so Minter got the call in the nightcap after Joe Jimenez had breezed through the eighth and got the first two outs in the ninth. The southpaw has three saves in his last four games, and while Iglesias remains Atlanta's closer, manager Brian Snitker will likely continue to turn to Minter when Iglesias is unavailable.

Jesse Chavez RP | ATL
Braves' Jesse Chavez: Results come back negative
Additional tests on Chavez's left leg came back negative Wednesday, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
Chavez was removed from Wednesday's game after getting hit by a comebacker, but all tests have confirmed that no significant damage was done. More information regarding a return for Chavez will likely come Thursday, but the veteran reliever is officially listed as day-to-day.

Adam Kolarek RP | LAA
Dodgers' Adam Kolarek: Designated for assignment
Kolarek was designated for assignment by the Dodgers on Wednesday.
Kolarek is removed from both the 40-man and 26-man active rosters with Shelby Miller (personal) coming off the bereavement list prior to Wednesday's game versus the White Sox. If Kolarek goes unclaimed, he'll likely report back to Oklahoma City to provide pitching depth in the minors.
