Luis Frias RP | CLE
Diamondbacks' Luis Frias: Optioned to Reno
Frias was optioned to Triple-A Reno on Saturday.
Frias has struggled to a 10.80 ERA across a pair of brief stints in the big leagues this season, striking out eight while walking seven in 6.2 innings. Drey Jameson was recalled to take his place on the roster.

Drey Jameson RP | ARI
Diamondbacks' Drey Jameson: Back in big leagues
Jameson was recalled from Triple-A Reno on Saturday.
Jameson made three starts and three relief appearances early in the season, winning two games and saving another, but he was optioned in late April despite recording a 3.71 ERA. His 16.0 percent walk rate was high, and while he cut that mark down to 8.9 percent across five Triple-A starts, he also posted a 5.79 ERA. His promotion Saturday comes in the same set of transactions as Brandon Pfaadt's demotion but also Zach Davies' return from the injured list, so Jameson may have to settle for a relief role for now.

Silvino Bracho RP | CIN
Reds' Silvino Bracho: Outrighted to Triple-A
Bracho cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Louisville on Saturday.
The Reds designated Bracho for assignment earlier this week, and it's no real surprise to see him pass through waivers unclaimed given his struggles. Bracho flashed some promise back in 2018 with Arizona, but he's been unable to carve out a consistent relief role in the majors in recent years.

Jose Alvarado RP | PHI
Phillies' Jose Alvarado: Skips bullpen, but no setback
Alvarado (elbow) played catch on flat ground but did not throw a bullpen session Saturday as scheduled, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.
Manager Rob Thomson said Alvarado was hitting 98 mph in a bullpen session earlier this week and probably pushed himself too hard. However, despite the delay to Alvarado's return to mound work, the skipper insists this isn't a setback. With that, it sounds like the lefty still has a chance to advance to live batting practice next week.

Jake Cousins RP | LAD
Brewers' Jake Cousins: Returns to majors
Cousins was recalled from Triple-A Nashville on Saturday.
The Brewers' bullpen was needed for 6.2 innings behind Freddy Peralta in Friday's 15-1 loss to the Giants. Cousins will return for his third stint with the big-league team this season, providing a fresh arm heading into the final two games against San Francisco. Cousins has made seven appearances for Milwaukee so far this season, pitching to a 3.24 ERA, 1.80 WHIP and 7:8 K:BB over 8.1 innings.

Duane Underwood RP | NYY
Pirates' Duane Underwood: Pushed off 40-man roster
Underwood was designated for assignment by the Pirates on Saturday, Alex Stumpf of DKPittsburghSports.com reports.
Underwood will now be subjected to the waiver process. The right-hander has produced a disappointing 5.18 ERA and 1.44 WHIP with 14 strikeouts over 24.1 innings in 20 appearances with the Pirates this season.

Dinelson Lamet RP | LAD
Rockies' Dinelson Lamet: Looking sharp on rehab assignment
Lamet (back) struck out six over 4.2 scoreless innings in his rehab start with Triple-A Albuquerque on Friday. He gave up just two hits and one walk.
Making the third start of his rehab assignment with Albuquerque, Lamet delivered an impressive follow-up effort after he tossed four perfect innings his last time out May 20. Just as he did in his prior two starts, Lamet did well to pound the zone, permitting just one free pass on the night while spotting 42 of his 63 pitches for strikes. The Rockies haven't decided whether Lamet will need one more rehab start to build his pitch count or if he'll be ready to return from the 15-day injured list for his next outing, but the right-hander at least looks like he'll get an extended trial in the big-league rotation. Since the second half of the 2021 season, Lamet has worked exclusively as a reliever in the big leagues, but he turned in a 3.78 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 21.4 K-BB% across 56 starts with San Diego from 2017 through 2021.

Luis Garcia RP | MIN
Padres' Luis Garcia: Placed on 15-day IL
Garcia was placed on the 15-day injured list with a left oblique strain Saturday.
Garcia popped up with an oblique injury Saturday and was placed on the 15-day IL retroactive to May 25. Domingo Tapia was called up from Triple-A El Paso to replace Garcia in the major-league bullpen.
-
Domingo Tapia RP | SD
Padres' Domingo Tapia: Called up Saturday
Tapia was called up from Triple-A El Paso on Saturday.
Tapia will return to the big leagues after being sent down to Triple-A on May 14. He surrendered five runs on eight hits and a walk while striking out two batters over 2.1 innings in three appearances with El Paso. He'll now replace right-hander Luis Garcia (oblique) on the major-league roster after Garcia was placed on the 15-day injured list Saturday. Tapia will likely operate in low-leverage situations.

Tristan Beck RP | SF
Giants' Tristan Beck: Sharp in three-inning save
Beck gave up a hit and struck out two over 3.1 scoreless innings to record his first career save in Friday's 15-1 rout of the Brewers.
Milwaukee offered little resistance in this one, and Beck tossed an efficient 33 pitches (26 strikes) to close out the victory. The 26-year-old rookie has held the opposition scoreless in only four of his nine appearances since his promotion in late April, however, and his 4.63 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 20:4 K:BB through 23.1 innings don't suggest he's going to see regular higher-leverage work any time soon.
