  • Braves' Raisel Iglesias: Tosses another scoreless inning

Iglesias (shoulder) struck out one in a perfect fourth inning during a rehab outing at Triple-A Gwinnett on Sunday, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Iglesias began the regular season on the injured list due to a shoulder strain, but he began a rehab assignment Thursday and has tossed two perfect frames over his two minor-league appearances. It's unclear when the right-hander will be activated from the IL, but manager Brian Snitker said Friday that Iglesias won't need to make back-to-back rehab appearances before rejoining the major-league club, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.

  • Josh Hader RP | HOU

Padres' Josh Hader: Snares 10th save

Hader picked up the save in Sunday's 6-4 win over San Francisco. He failed to record a strikeout over one perfect inning.

Hader overcame the Mexico City altitude Sunday, posting a clean ninth inning to lock up the victory for San Diego. The save was Hader's 10th of the year, pushing him into sole possession of first place in the category. Through 12.0 innings, Hader has given up just one earned run while striking out 17.

  • A.J. Puk RP | ARI

Marlins' A.J. Puk: Grabs fifth save

Puk picked up the save in Sunday's 4-3 victory over the Cubs, tallying a strikeout in a scoreless inning.

Puk has now pitched 11 consecutive scoreless innings. He's allowed just one run this season, coming on Pete Alonso's homer on March 31. Puk is a perfect 5-for-5 in save chances with a 0.75 ERA, 0.83 WHIP and 13:2 K:BB. He's firmly established himself as the full-time closer in Miami.

  • Cubs' Keegan Thompson: Suffers first loss Sunday

Thompson (1-1) allowed a run on one hit and a walk while retiring one batter to take the loss Sunday against the Marlins.

Thompson was charged with an earned run in the eighth inning, which broke a 3-3 tie, and the Marlins hung on for the 4-3 win. Despite the hiccup, Thompson has been good so far with a 1.80 ERA and 12 strikeouts across 15 innings of relief work. He should remain a key multi-inning bullpen option for the Cubs, and if a need ever arises in the rotation, he does have starting experience at the MLB level.

  • Bryan Hoeing RP | SD

Marlins' Bryan Hoeing: Solid against Cubs

Hoeing did not factor into the decision Sunday, allowing two runs on five hits and a walk over five innings in a 4-3 victory over the Cubs. He struck out four.

Sunday's start was certainly a step forward for Koenig, who allowed four runs in 3.2 innings in his first outing against Atlanta. He lowered his ERA to 6.23 through 8.2 innings with a 6:3 K:BB. Hoeing has looked good in the minors this year, pitching to a 2.08 ERA with 20:2 K:BB in three starts with Triple-A Jacksonville. He should see at least one more turn in the Marlins' rotation, with Trevor Rogers (biceps) still shut down from throwing.

  • Jordan Weems RP | LAD

Nationals' Jordan Weems: Heads back to Triple-A

The Nationals returned Weems to Triple-A Rochester following Saturday's doubleheader with the Pirates.

Weems appeared in both games of the twin bill, working 2.1 innings out of the bullpen in total and striking out three while allowing no runs on one hit and two walks. He'll now head back to Rochester but should be near the top of the list for a promotion the next time the Nationals are in need of an extra bullpen arm.

  • Brooks Raley RP | NYM

Mets' Brooks Raley: Could be back in minimum time

Raley isn't scheduled to undergo an MRI after he was placed on the 15-day injured list Saturday with left elbow inflammation, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

The Mets believe that Raley isn't dealing with anything more than some minor swelling in his elbow and are optimistic that he'll be ready to return from the IL when first eligible in mid-May. Raley had picked up eight holds through his first 14 relief appearances with the Mets, and while he sports a 4.76 ERA over 11.1 innings, most of his underlying ratios are strong.

  • Denyi Reyes RP | NYM

Mets' Denyi Reyes: On tap for start in doubleheader

Reyes is scheduled to start the first game of the Mets' doubleheader with Atlanta at Citi Field on Monday, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

The Mets are likely to treat the first game of the twin bill as more of a bullpen day, as Reyes hasn't covered more than two innings or 36 pitches in any of his six appearances between the big club and Triple-A Norfolk this season and likely won't push far past those thresholds Monday. New York could call up an additional relief arm ahead of the doubleheader to provide extra depth behind Reyes.

  • Trevor Megill RP | MIL

Brewers' Trevor Megill: Dealt to Milwaukee

The Brewers acquired Megill from the Twins on Sunday in exchanged for a player to be named later and cash considerations, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

Megill appeared in 39 games for the Twins in 2022 with a 4.80 ERA and 1.49 WHIP along with a 49:17 K:BB over 45 innings. The right-hander was ineffective with Triple-A St. Paul with a 13.03 ERA in seven appearances, but he'll head to Milwaukee to provide some pitching depth with an outside shot to join the big-league bullpen before the season is over. He's initially expected to report to Triple-A Nashville with his new organization.

  • Nick Mears RP | KC

Rockies' Nick Mears: Recalled from Albuquerque

Colorado recalled Mears from Triple-A Albuquerque on Sunday.

Mears will take the place of Noah Davis on the 26-man roster after Davis was placed on the injured list with elbow inflammation. The right-hander will likely work in a low-leverage capacity out of the Colorado bullpen.
