Colome (2-0) did not allow a baserunner while striking out one in a scoreless eighth inning to earn the win Saturday against the Padres.

Colome entered the game in the eighth inning with the score knotted at four. He needed only 10 pitches to retire the side, and he has now turned in 17 consecutive scoreless appearances. Colome has a 2.13 ERA and 1.22 WHIP on the season, and he appears to be next in line for saves should Daniel Bard suffer an injury.

The Reds recalled Moreta from Triple-A Louisville on Sunday.

Outfielder TJ Friedl was optioned to Louisville to clear room on the 26-man active roster for Moreta. The 26-year-old right-hander was able to secure a spot on the Reds' Opening Day roster, but he labored across 15 appearances before being sent to Louisville on May 12. Over his 13.2 innings with the Reds, Moreta was charged with 15 earned runs on 15 hits and six walks while striking out 16.

Doval pitched a clean ninth inning to pick up the save in a 7-5 win over the Pirates on Saturday.

It was a dominant inning for Doval, who didn't allow a baserunner and threw nine of his 11 pitches for strikes. The game ended on a nasty 100.8 mph cutter to Daniel Vogelbach, which caught him looking for strike three. Doval has now converted 11 of 13 save chances so far this season, and he boasts a 10.4 K/9 rate, which is appropriate for a shutdown closer.

Hudson (5-3) earned the win over Boston on Saturday, pitching five innings and allowing two runs on four hits and five walks while striking out three.

Hudson threw only 50 of 93 pitches for strikes and allowed a season-high five walks, but he limited the Red Sox to two runs to pick up the victory. The right-hander has issued multiple free passes in 10 of his 13 starts this season and has given up 32 walks overall (tied for third-most in the majors), but he has nonetheless managed to post a solid 3.31 ERA. Much of Hudson's success has been centered on his ability to keep the ball in the park -- he has surrendered only four long balls across 70.2 innings on the campaign.

Dominguez pitched a perfect inning to earn a save against the Nationals on Saturday.

For the second straight day, Brad Hand got a save chance with the Phillies ahead in the ninth inning. Unlike in his previous opportunity, Hand blew the opportunity, yielding a run to allow the game to go into extra frames. Dominguez was then called upon to close the contest after Philadelphia scored in the top of the 10th, and he came through by retiring all three Nationals batters he faced on 10 pitches. Hand has been the closer of choice thus far since the demotion of Corey Knebel out of the role, but it wouldn't be surprising to see the pendulum swing toward Dominguez given how things shook out Saturday.

Diaz allowed a run on two hits and struck out three in one inning to earn the save in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Marlins.

Diaz flirted with danger for the second outing in a row, allowing a two-out RBI single to Garrett Cooper to bring the Marlins within a run. He then struck out Avisail Garcia to end the threat. Despite the recent return to some shaky pitching, Diaz has logged four saves, a hold and a win in his last eight outings without blowing a save. He's 14-for-17 in save chances overall while posting a 2.30 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 53:11 K:BB across 27.1 innings.

Martinez didn't factor into the decision during Saturday's 5-4 loss to Colorado, allowing four runs on eight hits and two walks with one strikeout in five innings.

Martinez struggled with baserunners all game, putting multiple Rockies on in four of his five frames, but was able to escape with a no-decision as opposing starter German Marquez was equally mediocre. The one strikeout on five swinging strikes was a big disappointment as Martinez had averaged nearly six strikeouts per start over his last six turns. It's unclear if the 31-year-old will get another start soon as San Diego's vaunted rotation is finally fully healthy.

Bard saved Saturday's 5-4 victory against the Padres, allowing one hit and one walk with one strikeout in a scoreless ninth inning.

Bard surrendered a leadoff double to Ha-Seong Kim and a one-out walk to Jake Cronenworth to make things tight but struck out Manny Machado and induced a Luke Voit groundout to end the game. The outing was the 36-year-old's first action since Tuesday and the rust showed though Bard was able to pull into a tie for sixth in the majors with his 14th save and lower his ERA to a sparkling 1.98.

Phillips (1-3) took the loss against Cleveland on Friday, allowing an unearned run on one hit and one walk while striking out one batter in one inning.

The game went into extra frames, and Phillips was brought in for the top of the 10th. The only hit he gave up was an infield single, but it moved the designated runner to third base, and the Guardians subsequently tallied the winning run on a sacrifice fly. Despite the loss, Phillips finished with his eighth straight appearance without allowing an earned run, and he's notched a 10:4 K:BB over 7.2 innings during that span.

Webb cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Gwinnett on Saturday.

Webb was designated for assignment Thursday but will remain in the organization after going unclaimed on waivers. He made six relief appearances at Triple-A Reno to begin the year and posted a 10.13 ERA and 2.16 WHIP in 5.1 innings.
