Wilson was optioned to Triple-A Gwinnett on Sunday, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.

The 23-year-old recorded the win Saturday after giving up one run over 6.2 innings, but he'll head back to Triple-A since Atlanta has a pair of scheduled off days during the upcoming week. Wilson has a 2.13 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and 9:2 K:BB over two starts (12.2 innings) in May, and it's only a matter of time before he receives another chance in the majors this season.

Yamamoto will start Sunday's game against the Marlins, Deesha Thosar of the New York Daily News reports.

The 25-year-old has lined up to start one of the weekend games in Miami this weekend since joining the team at the start of the series, and he's now been confirmed as the pitcher for Sunday's contest. Yamamoto made one appearance this season in early May and allowed one run on four hits with one strikeout and zero walks over 2.2 innings.

Reyes earned the save against the Cubs on Saturday, pitching a scoreless inning during which he gave up one hit and struck out one batter.

The right-hander yielded a two-out infield single but was otherwise both effective and efficient in the outing, getting through the ninth inning on 13 pitches (eight of which were strikes). Reyes has been a revelation in his first full-time stint as a closer, going 14-for-14 in save chances and registering a minuscule 0.38 ERA across 24 innings. His 1.25 WHIP and 7.5 BB/9 suggest that the ERA is buoyed by some good fortune, but it's hard to argue with the overall results.

Howard (0-1) was charged with the loss against Boston on Saturday, allowing two runs on one hit and four walks while striking out five over three innings.

Howard showed flashes of his considerable potential in the contest, allowing only one hit -- a double -- and punching out five batters. However, the 24-year-old had problems finding the plate, throwing only 39 of 68 pitches for strikes and issuing four free passes. His struggles were especially harmful in the third inning, when Boston cashed in two of his three walks, including one issued to the opposing pitcher. With Matt Moore going on the 10-day IL on Saturday due to back spasms, Howard could get another chance to make his case for a long-term spot in the rotation. He's tentatively lined up to start at Miami on Thursday.

Bard recorded the save during Saturday's 7-6 win over the Diamondbacks with two strikeouts and one hit allowed during a scoreless ninth inning.

The 35-year-old appeared to be in trouble after giving up a leadoff double to David Peralta to put the tying run in scoring position, but he retired the next three hitters via two strikeouts and a foul popup. Bard has converted five of eight save chances with a 5.29 ERA, 1.82 WHIP and 21:8 K:BB across 17 innings, though he's given up only one earned run in his past seven outings.

Melancon went two-thirds of an inning with no runs, hits or walks and two strikeouts to secure his 16th save in San Diego's 6-4 win against Seattle on Saturday.

San Diego entered the ninth with a four-run lead but reliever Austin Adams allowed two baserunners and a run which necessitated Melancon's services. A throwaway from Melancon himself enabled another run to score but the MLB saves leader whiffed both Mariners he faced to lock down the Padres' victory. He remains an elite option.

Jansen pitched a perfect ninth inning while striking out one to record the save in the win over the Giants on Saturday.

Jansen entered with a three-run lead and retired the side to record his 11th save, tying for third-best in all of baseball. The 33-year-old blew two saves earlier this year, but he has six straight saves in his last six appearances. He has a 1.31 ERA and a 0.97 WHIP with a 10.5 K/9 in 20.2 innings.

Weathers started Saturday's 6-4 win over Seattle, going four innings and allowing one run on six hits and two walks with two strikeouts. He didn't factor into the decision.

The only real damage Weathers permitted was a Mitch Haniger solo home run in the third, though he did allow a season-high eight baserunners. His 67 pitches were about the norm as the most he's thrown in an outing is 89. It may be difficult for Weathers to record meaningful value without going the minimum five innings for a vital win.

Alzolay (2-4) allowed two earned runs across seven innings but took the loss Saturday against the Cardinals. He gave up five hits and no walks while striking out six.

Alzolay pitched very well, but the Chicago offense mustered just five hits in a 2-1 loss. The righty has been incredibly consistent lately, going at least five innings and allowing three runs or fewer in five straight starts. The seven innings pitched Saturday were actually a new season high for Alzolay, and he lowered his ERA to 4.30 in the process. He'll look for a little better luck in the win column his next time out Friday against the Reds.

Wilson (2-2) picked up the win in Saturday's 6-1 victory over the Pirates, allowing one run on five hits and two walks over 6.2 innings. He struck out four.

The right-hander tossed 85 pitches (55 strikes) in his second straight quality start in the majors, with only a Michael Perez solo shot marring his day. Homers have been an issue for Wilson this year -- he's served up six in 24.2 innings -- but he's been pitching much better in May as he continues to bounce between the big leagues and Triple-A. He'll take a 4.38 ERA and 15:7 K:BB into his next outing, whether it's for Gwinnett or for Atlanta once again.
