Suarez was recalled by the Giants on Wednesday, Henry Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Suarez continues his shuffle between the active roster and the alternate training site, even though he hasn't appeared in any games so far in 2020. Outfielder Steven Duggar was sent down in a corresponding move.

Yacabonis was sent from San Diego to Seattle in exchange for cash considerations Wednesday.

Yacabonis signed a minor-league deal with the Padres over the offseason but never made it onto the 40-man roster, let alone the active roster. He'll remain off both rosters in Seattle but will be part of the team's player pool. All of the 28-year-old righty's big-league innings to date have come with Baltimore, where he posted a 5.75 ERA in 101.2 innings over the last three seasons, striking out just 16.1 percent of opposing batters while walking 12.2 percent.

Gonzalez was recalled from the Dodgers' alternate training site Wednesday, Eric Stephen of True Blue LA reports.

With Tony Gonsolin getting optioned down since the Dodgers don't need a sixth starter anytime soon, Gonzalez was brought up to help out the bullpen. He gave up one run in one inning in his lone appearance this season and will work in low-leverage situations.

Alzolay (forearm) was recalled by the Cubs on Wednesday and will serve as the 29th man for the doubleheader against the Cardinals, starting the nightcap.

Alzolay was hit by a ball at the team's alternate training site earlier in the week and suffered a forearm contusion, but the injury was never thought to be serious, as Wednesday's move confirms. Alzolay made two starts and two relief appearances for the Cubs last season without much success, posting a 7.30 ERA and a 1.78 WHIP.

The Cubs optioned Miller to their alternate training site Tuesday.

Miller was moved back to South Bend after he was summoned to the big club as the 29th man for Monday's doubleheader with the Cardinals. He ended up receiving the starting nod for the second game of the twin bill, working the first two innings and giving up two runs on one hit and three walks in Chicago's 5-4 win.

Treinen (2-1) picked up the win in Tuesday's 2-1 victory over the Mariners, recording a strikeout over 1.2 perfect innings of relief.

Tony Gonsolin blanked the M's over six innings but Jake McGee and Scott Alexander combined to cough up a run in the seventh. Treinen came on and shut the door the rest of the way, getting rewarded with the win when the Dodgers pushed across another run in the bottom of the eighth. The right-hander continues to impress after a rough 2019, posting a 0.82 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 11:6 K:BB through 11 innings with two wins and four holds in 11 appearances.

Hudson struck out two in a perfect ninth inning Tuesday to record his fifth save of the season in an 8-5 win over Atlanta.

The right-hander was dialed in, firing 14 of his 16 pitches for strikes, and Hudson only needed to work as hard as he did because Matt Adams fouled off four straight 0-2 fastballs before finally waving at a slider. Hudson is now 5-for-7 on save chances, with the two blowups inflating his ERA to 7.00, but his 0.89 WHIP and 14:2 K:BB through nine innings are better indicators of his performance this season. He's now pitched on three straight days, however, so expect Tanner Rainey or Will Harris to get the nod if the Nats have a late lead to protect Wednesday.

Suero (1-0) picked up the win in Tuesday's 8-5 victory over Atlanta, giving up one hit and striking out two in a scoreless fifth inning.

Austin Voth didn't last long enough to qualify for the win even though the Nats took the lead for good in the top of the fifth, making Suero the pitcher of record after he and six other relievers combined to silence Atlanta's bats. The right-hander has been tagged for runs in half of his six appearances this season, leading to a 6.14 ERA and 1.77 WHIP, but his 7:1 K:BB and zero homers allowed through 7.1 innings suggests better days should be ahead.

Voth didn't factor into the decision in Tuesday's 8-5 win over Atlanta, coughing up five runs on nine hits and three walks over four innings. He struck out three.

The right-hander checked out of the game down 5-2 and on the hook for his third loss of the year, but the Nats' offense rallied for four runs in the top of the fifth and finished the night with 17 hits. Voth has had one good start and three shaky ones so far, resulting in a 5.00 ERA, 1.44 WHIP and mediocre 12:6 K:BB through 18 innings, but a lack of alternatives probably keeps his rotation spot secure. He'll next take the mound Sunday, at home against the Marlins.

Wilson (1-1) was credited with the win in Tuesday's 8-3 victory over the Marlins, giving up one hit over 1.1 scoreless innings of relief. He struck out two.

The southpaw was the first pitcher out of the bullpen after Corey Oswalt gave the Mets a solid effort in his emergency start. Wilson's 4.70 ERA and 1.70 WHIP aren't pretty, but his 10:4 K:BB through 7.2 innings suggests he's been a little unlucky. He's also held the opposition off the scoreboard in seven of his nine appearances, collecting five holds along the way. Expect Wilson to continue seeing high-leverage work.
