Scott allowed an unearned run on one hit and struck out one over one inning to earn the save in Monday's 8-7 extra-inning win over the Padres.

Scott allowed an RBI double to Jackson Merrill in the 10th inning, but he was able to strand the young Padre at second base to end the back-and-forth contest. This was Scott's second save in his last three outings, which comes after manager Dave Roberts indicated the Dodgers are using a committee-based approach to closing duties. That was necessitated by Scott's bumpy stretch from May 20 to June 2, when he allowed 12 runs (10 earned) over six innings while converting just one of four save chances. Nonetheless, he remains in the late-inning mix. He's at a 4.11 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 35:4 K:BB while adding 12 saves and five holds over 30.2 innings this season. The Dodgers are 40-27 following Monday's win, so there are plenty of saves to go around -- they are one of nine teams in the majors so far to accumulate 20 saves as a team.

Martinez left Monday's game against the Mariners with an undisclosed injury, Jack Sommers of SI.com reports.

Martinez was one out away from recording his sixth save of the season, but he made a motion for the trainer after throwing a 97 mile-per-hour sinker to Donovan Solano. Martinez is presumably headed for further evaluation to determine the severity of his injury.

Strahm blew the save in Monday's 4-3 extra-innings win over the Cubs after giving up a solo home run and a walk with no strikeouts in the eighth inning.

Strahm was charged with his fourth blown save of the season, and he's now gone a poor 2-for-6 on save opportunities this year. The veteran left-hander has begun to struggle as a setup man in Philadelphia's bullpen, logging a 5.06 ERA and 1.38 WHIP over his last 16 innings. Jordan Romano has been shaky as the Phillies' closer -- he owns a 7.40 ERA and 1.64 WHIP in 2025 -- but Strahm's recent performance hasn't helped his case as a potential ninth-inning option.

Pagan secured the save in Monday's 7-4 win over the Guardians after allowing one walk in a scoreless ninth inning. He struck out two.

It was the 16th save of the year for Pagan, who also successfully converted his eighth consecutive save opportunity. The 34-year-old right-hander has been shaky at times when it comes to run prevention this year -- he has a 3.45 ERA on the season -- but he's more or less given the Reds stability as their closer. Pagan has gone 16-for-18 in save situations, also posting a 0.84 WHIP and 35:8 K:BB over 28.2 innings.

Pressly, who tossed a scoreless inning of relief with two strikeouts in Monday's 4-3, extra-innings loss to the Phillies, has now gone 12 straight appearances without allowing an earned run.

Pressly was hammered for eight earned runs without recording an out back on May 6, but since then, he's allowed just a single unearned run across 11 innings to go along with 10 strikeouts. The veteran righty has lowered his ERA from 7.62 to 4.13 in the process. Daniel Palencia, who took the loss Monday but still has a sparkling 1.96 ERA, has emerged as the team's top closing option, though Pressly could push his way back into the picture if he continues to pitch well. At the very least, he's seemingly done enough to at least earn some trust in high-leverage spots, potentially as a setup man for now.

Palencia (0-2) allowed two runs (one earned) on four hits and a walk across an inning of work to take the loss Monday against the Phillies.

Palencia was tasked with working the bottom of the 10th inning in a 2-2 game, and outside of an intentional walk to Kyle Schwarber, he was able to get through the frame fairly quickly. The 11th was a different story, however, as the righty allowed four straight hits to take his second loss of the year. Palencia isn't often asked to work more than one inning, as he's retired four or more batters just four times in 21 appearances. Despite the hiccup, the 25-year-old has been solid with a 1.96 ERA, and he should remain Chicago's top closing option for the time being, though Porter Hodge (oblique/hip) could join the mix at some point when he's healthy. Opening Day closer Ryan Pressly is also pitching better after a rough start, so Palencia will need to pitch well to keep his grip on the role.

Miley (1-0) collected the win Monday against the Guardians after giving up three runs on five hits and four walks in five innings. He struck out two.

Miley was inefficient in his first start of the year, tossing just 42 of his 78 pitches for strikes, and he also generated a mere three whiffs. The 38-year-old journeyman left-hander now has a 9.00 ERA, 2.14 WHIP and 2:4 K:BB covering seven innings, but he figures to remain in Cincinnati's rotation until Hunter Greene (groin) returns from the injured list. Even so, Miley should be avoided as a fantasy streamer in most situations in his next scheduled outing against the first-place Tigers, who own an .804 OPS versus southpaws since May 1.

Go (finger) allowed one hit and struck out one across a scoreless inning for Triple-A Jacksonville on Sunday.

Go began the 2025 season on the 7-day injured list due to a fractured right index finger, and he's since been cleared to return to Triple-A after wrapping up a rehab assignment. He's fired a pair of scoreless frames since being activated from the IL, striking out two batters in the process.

Puk (elbow) has been cleared to throw out to 120 feet, Arizona Sports reports.

Puk, who was placed on the 15-day injured list April 19 due to left elbow inflammation and was shifted to the 60-day IL on May 1, continues to make steady progress in his throwing program. The team still hasn't provided a firm timetable for the southpaw's return, though he's eligible to be activated July 1.

Mena has been diagnosed with a teres major strain in his right shoulder and is expected to be out for multiple weeks, Jack Sommers of SI.com reports.

Mena felt discomfort in his right shoulder while warming up in the bullpen before his outing against the Reds on Friday, when he yielded one run on two hits and one walk while striking out one batter in one inning. Mena was placed on the 15-day injured list Saturday, and a clearer timeline for his return will be known once he's been given the green light to start a throwing program.
