Hoby Milner RP | CHC
Rangers' Hoby Milner: Headed to Texas
The Rangers signed Milner to a one-year deal Thursday, Mark Feinsand of MLB.com reports.
Milner will head to Texas after spending the last four seasons with the Brewers, most recently producing a 4.73 ERA and 1.19 WHIP with 64 strikeouts over 64.2 innings in 61 appearances during 2024. The left-hander is just one season removed from a 2023 campaign in which he had an impressive 1.82 ERA and 0.96 WHIP with 59 punchouts over 64.1 innings with the Brewers, and he'll look to get closer to that form in 2025 with the Rangers.

Codi Heuer RP | CLE
Rangers' Codi Heuer: Receives invite to spring training
The Rangers invited Heuer to spring training Thursday.
Heuer was not able to pitch in 2024 due to a fractured right elbow he suffered in 2023. He was only able to pitch in 12.2 inning during 2023 and he allowed 11 earned runs in his shortened season. The right-hander made his last MLB appearances in 2021, when he pitched for both Chicago teams. The veteran recorded a 4.28 ERA and 1.31 WHIP across 61.1 innings that season.

Nolan Hoffman RP | PHI
Rangers' Nolan Hoffman: Signs with Texas
Hoffman signed a minor-league contract with the Rangers on Thursday and received an invitation to spring training.
Hoffman spent all of last season with the Orioles' Triple-A affiliate, where he finished with a 3.88 ERA and 1.74 WHIP with 77 strikeouts over 58 innings. The 27-year-old right-hander has yet to appear in an MLB game and is likely destined to remain in the minors to begin 2025.

Brendan White RP | SEA
Tigers' Brendan White: Back with Detroit on MiLB deal
The Tigers re-signed White to a minor-league contract on Dec. 13.
White was non-tendered by Detroit last month but is back in the organization on a minors pact. The 26-year-old missed much of the 2024 season with elbow problems and underwent hydrodissection in August for nerve issues. White will be healthy for spring training and will likely begin the 2025 season in the Triple-A Toledo bullpen.

Nick Vespi RP | PHI
Phillies' Nick Vespi: Signs MiLB deal
Vespi signed a minor-league contract with the Phillies on Thursday and received an invitation to spring training, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.
Vespi held his own in the majors last season, allowing four earned runs over 12.1 innings with the Orioles. However, his success didn't translate to the minors, as he finished the year with a 7.23 ERA and 2.04 WHIP in 42.1 frames at Triple-A Norfolk. He'll get a chance to redeem himself and compete for a bullpen spot during spring training with Philly, but the 29-year-old southpaw is most likely destined to start 2025 in Triple-A.

Josh Fleming RP | TOR
Mariners' Josh Fleming: Re-signs with Seattle
The Mariners re-signed Fleming to a minor-league contract Thursday that includes an invitation to spring training, Robert Murray of FanSided.com reports.
Fleming began the 2024 season with the Pirates before finishing it at Triple-A Tacoma in the Mariners organization. The owner of a 4.77 ERA over parts of five major-league seasons, Fleming is likely headed back to Tacoma to start 2025 as some rotation depth for the Mariners.

Zach Logue RP | LAD
Zach Logue: Signs overseas
Logue signed a one-year, $800,000 contract with the Doosan Bears of the Korea Baseball Organization, Dan Kurtz of MyKBO.net reports.
Logue turned in a 2.69 ERA and 1.09 WHIP across 93.2 Triple-A innings last season. However, his 7.20 ERA in 70 career MLB frames likely made teams reluctant to bring him in after he was non-tendered by the Dodgers in November.

Ryan Miller RP | DET
Tigers' Ryan Miller: Heads to Detroit as NRI
The Tigers signed Miller to a minor-league contract Tuesday that includes an invitation to spring training, Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press reports.
Miller, who turns 29 in March, got into 13 games with the Angels in 2024, posting a 4.15 ERA and 11:8 K:BB over 13 innings. The right-handed reliever will compete for a spot in Detroit's bullpen but will likely begin the 2025 season at Triple-A Toledo.

Davis Daniel RP | CIN
Angels' Davis Daniel: Designated for assignment
The Angels designated Daniel for assignment Wednesday.
The move frees up a spot on the 40-man roster for Chuckie Robinson, who was acquired from the White Sox. Daniel, 27, made six starts for the Angels in 2024, posting a 6.23 ERA and 28:6 K:BB over 30.1 innings. He has a solid 25.8 percent strikeout rate in the minors, so it's possible Daniel will draw interest via trade or waivers.

Bryse Wilson RP | PHI
White Sox's Bryse Wilson: Receives one-year deal with ChiSox
The White Sox signed Wilson to a one-year, $1.05 million contract Wednesday, Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports.
He can earn an additional $250,000 in incentives. Wilson elected free agency last month when he was removed from the Brewers' 40-man roster after holding a 4.04 ERA and 82:31 K:BB across 104.2 regular-season innings in 2024. The 27-year-old has been used as both a starter and reliever and will be given a chance to win a spot in Chicago's rotation.
