Dreyer (2-2) tossed two innings in a loss against Arizona on Monday, allowing three runs on three hits and one walk while striking out one batter.

Dreyer worked as an opener in front of Landon Knack and fell behind quickly, giving up two runs in the first frame. Those runs weren't entirely his fault -- Hyeseong Kim lost sight of a very catchable flyball in center field that dropped for a gift double -- but Dreyer gave up another run in the third and had his streak of five straight scoreless outings snapped. Dreyer has made three starts as an opener this season along with coming out of the bullpen 16 times, and overall he has a 3.38 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 30:12 K:BB over 26.2 innings.

Sauer surrendered two earned runs on two hits and no walks while striking out one batter over two innings of relief in Monday's 9-5 loss to the Diamondbacks.

After making a four-inning start in his previous appearance for the Dodgers on Thursday against the Athletics, Sauer shifted back to the bullpen after Los Angeles added Clayton Kershaw to its rotation over the weekend. The Dodgers still went without a traditional starter in Monday's game, as Jack Dreyer covered the first two frames before Landon Knack tossed the next five innings. Sauer then came on to finish out the contest, but Knack looks like he'll be prioritized in bulk relief ahead of Sauer the next time the fifth spot in the Los Angeles rotation comes up.

Rogers (2-2) took the loss in Monday's 3-1 defeat to the Royals, allowing two earned runs on two hits (one home run) over one inning.

The right-hander entered a scoreless game in the eighth inning, surrendering a double and a two-run homer. Rogers threw 15 of his 20 pitches for strikes but saw his scoreless streak end at five appearances. He now owns a 2.01 ERA, 0.72 WHIP and an 18:3 K:BB with nine holds and a blown save across 22.1 innings in 23 appearances.

Double-A Chesapeake placed Fruit on the 7-day injured list April 23 with a lat strain, Jacob Calvin Meyer of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Fruit made waves during spring training by regularly touching triple digits with his fastball, but things unraveled quickly in his first exposure to Double-A. He logged a 10.13 ERA, 2.00 WHIP and 7:6 K:BB in eight innings across three starts before landing on the shelf.

Wilson (2-0) allowed one hit and one walk while striking out one over one scoreless inning to earn the win Tuesday against the Mets.

Wilson entered for starter Hunter Dobbins with two outs in the fifth inning and runners at the corners. The lefty was brought in to face the switch-hitting Francisco Lindor, who hits righties (.893 OPS) much better than lefties (.574). The result was an epic 10-pitch at-bat that ended with Lindor's whiff on Wilson's eighth slider. The reliever's been quietly effective for the Red Sox, posting a 2.35 ERA over 15.1 innings and not allowing a run over his last nine appearances.

Miller retired the only batter he faced to earn the save in Monday's 9-5 win over the Dodgers.

Ryan Thompson was initially tabbed with the ninth inning with Arizona ahead by six runs. He nearly made a mess of it, leaving two runners on with two outs, but Miller stepped in and got Hyeseong Kim on a groundout to end the threat. Miller has recorded saves in his last four outings, allowing one run with a 3:3 K:BB over 3.1 innings in that span. Overall, he's at a 1.35 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 22:8 K:BB with five saves and six holds through 20 innings. He appears to be the best bet as a fill-in closer while the Diamondbacks wait for Justin Martinez (shoulder) to be ready for action again. Martinez is expected back for this weekend's series in St. Louis, at which point Miller may end up back in a setup role.

Halvorsen (0-1) took the loss and was charged with a blown save Monday against the Phillies, allowing four runs on five hits while striking out one batter over two-thirds of an inning.

Halvorsen had picked up Colorado's most recent save -- Saturday versus Tampa Bay -- but was brought in for the eighth inning Monday with the Rockies up by a run. The right-hander gave up the lead on a two-run homer by Alec Bohm and then allowed three more hits, resulting in two more runs, before he was pulled. Halvorsen's usage in the outing suggests that he's not locked in as Colorado's go-to closer despite tying for the team lead with two saves. Zach Agnos also has two saves and has pitched much better than Halvorsen with a 1.50 ERA and 1.00 WHIP to Halvorsen's 5.30 and 1.61 marks.

Neris (finger) struck out one during a scoreless inning in Monday's 4-3 victory over the Athletics.

Neris has been dealing with a blister on his pitching hand since Saturday, so it was good to see him deliver a strong outing on the way to Monday's win. He got through the eighth inning with ease, firing seven of his nine pitches for strikes. The team will presumably check in on the right-hander Tuesday morning to see how he bounces back from Monday's relief appearance.

Jansen allowed a hit and struck out one over a scoreless inning to earn the save in Monday's 4-3 win over the Athletics.

Jansen has kept runs off the board in his last three outings, spanning 3.1 innings. The veteran closer was able to picked up his ninth save of the season Monday, and his second save in three days, with a 16-pitch outing. He remains a perfect 9-for-9 in save chances while pitching to a 5.02 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 13:3 K:BB over 14.1 innings.

Estevez allowed a hit and struck out one over a scoreless inning to earn the save in Monday's 3-1 win over the Giants.

Estevez earned his second save in as many days in this outing. He's logged 4.2 scoreless innings since allowing a run in one inning versus the White Sox on May 7. Estevez continues to hold things down in the closer role for the Royals, posting a 2.08 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 19:10 K:BB over 21.2 innings while converting 14 of 16 save chances. His walk rate has ticked back up toward the high end of his career range this year after he had trimmed it down to 2.0 BB/9 in the 2024 regular season, so he'll need to be careful when navigating traffic on the basepaths.
