Scott struck out one in 1.1 perfect innings Friday to record his 15th save of the season in a 6-4 win over the Mets.

The lefty fired 14 of 18 pitches for strikes as he carved up the top of New York's order. Any save for Scott could be his last in a Marlins uniform as trade rumors swirl around the pending free agent, and he's only helped his market value with a 13-appearance scoreless streak that dates back to June 13 -- a stretch in which he's converted all seven of his save chances while giving up only four hits with a 15:5 K:BB in 13.2 innings.

Triple-A Lehigh Valley placed Tarnok on its 7-day injured list July 9 with a right lat strain, Tom Housenick of The Allentown Morning Call reports.

After claiming Tarnok off waivers from Oakland on June 1, Philadelphia optioned him to Lehigh Valley. Tarnok accrued a 4.82 ERA, 1.54 WHIP and 12:4 K:BB in 9.1 innings over five outings (four starts) with Lehigh Valley before being shut down with the injury, which will likely keep him out indefinitely.

High-A Jersey Shore reinstated Pan (finger) from the 60-day injured list Friday.

Pan is poised to make his 2024 debut with Jersey Shore after he was placed on the IL coming out of spring training due to a broken pinkie finger on his right hand. He should make his first start for Jersey Shore in the coming days after he completed four rehab starts between the rookie-level Florida Complex League and Single-A Clearwater. He covered 8.1 innings over those four starts, striking out 13 batters while allowing four earned runs on nine hits and two walks.

Bernardino (3-3) was the losing pitcher Friday, allowing three runs on two hits and a walk in a 4-1 loss to the Dodgers. He did not record an out.

Boston's bullpen wasted a quality start by Nick Pivetta, who authored six shutout innings. Bernardino, who entered the evening with a 1.69 ERA, came on with one out, a runner on and Boston leading, 1-0. He allowed a ground-rule double, an intentional walk, then was touched for a grand slam by Freddie Freeman. It's been a good season for Bernardino, but the lefty has hit a rough patch, having allowed five runs, six hits and one walk over his last four outings (1.2 innings) while picking up two losses and two blown saves during that stretch.

Teng, who was placed on Triple-A Sacramento's 7-day injured list July 7 with an unspecified injury, made a rehab appearance Friday in the rookie-level Arizona Complex League, giving up four earned runs on five hits and one walk while striking out two over 1.2 innings.

Given that Teng has been on the IL for just a couple of weeks, he shouldn't require an extensive buildup in the lower levels of the minors before he rejoins Sacramento. The 25-year-old righty has a spot on the Giants' 40-man roster but hasn't distinguished himself enough at the Triple-A level this season to earn a call-up. Over his 12 appearances (five starts) for Sacramento before landing on the shelf, Teng turned in a 9.47 ERA and 1.89 WHIP across 38 innings.

Reid-Foley (shoulder) is expected to begin facing hitters Monday in live batting practice, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.

Reid-Foley is poised to advance to the next phase of his rehab program for a right shoulder impingement after he tossed multiple bullpen sessions at the Mets' facility in Port St. Lucie, Fla. over the All-Star break. If he responds well to pitching in live BP, Reid-Foley could be cleared to head out on a minor-league rehab assignment toward the end of next week.

Fulmer is scheduled to start Sunday's game against the Athletics in Oakland.

Fulmer will be rewarded with a second turn through the rotation after he dazzled in his first start of the season in the Angels' final game before the All-Star break this past Sunday. Since he had been transitioning from a relief role, Fulmer wasn't fully stretched out for his start against the Mariners, but he was still impressive during his time on the mound. He struck out seven over 4.2 innings and had a no-hitter going before he was lifted after his 77th pitch of the day. Fulmer should be able to provide the Angels with a bit more length this Sunday against the Athletics, and another strong showing would bolster his case for sticking in the rotation on a more permanent basis.

Wesneski worked in relief of starter Justin Steele in Friday's 5-2 loss to the Diamondbacks, striking out one over 1.1 scoreless innings while giving up one hit and no walks.

Wesneski had started in each of his final four appearances before the All-Star break, but he looks to have lost his rotation spot to Javier Assad (forearm), who returned from the injured list July 13. The right-handed Wesneski might have had a case for a more permanent stay in the rotation if he had performed well in his recent run as a starter, but he turned in a 5.59 ERA over those four outings.

Rogers (1-3) allowed three runs on three hits over one-third of an inning to take the loss Friday versus the Rockies.

Rogers couldn't keep the game tied at 3-3 in the eighth inning, giving up a three-run home run to Jake Cave that proved to be decisive. Prior to Friday, Rogers had allowed just one run over his last 10.2 innings. He's now at a 3.15 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 34:3 K:BB with a save and 19 holds across 45.2 innings this season. Rogers has generally been reliable in a setup role and does not appear to be in danger of losing that spot in the bullpen hierarchy.

Hudson (back) allowed a hit and struck out one in a scoreless inning to earn the save in Friday's 4-1 win over the Red Sox.

Hudson was sidelined by a stiff back heading into the All-Star break, but it appears the time off served him well. He hasn't allowed a run over six innings in July, adding a 7:3 K:BB with two saves, one hold and a 1-0 record this month. The right-hander remains a key high-leverage arm for the Dodgers with five saves, 13 holds, a 1.59 ERA, 0.81 WHIP and 43:7 K:BB through 39.2 innings this season.
