Jimenez was recalled from Triple-A Las Vegas by Oakland on Friday.

Jimenez will rejoin the Athletics just a month after being sent down to the team's Triple-A affiliate. The 30-year-old righty has appeared in 15 games with Oakland this year, recording a 3.68 ERA and 1.50 WHIP across 14.2 innings.

Brazoban was recalled from Triple-A Jacksonville on Friday.

Brazoban missed early portions of the 2024 campaign due to visa issues but has been brought up to speed since clearing those up and will rejoin the Marlins' bullpen. Brazoban appeared in 50 games last season with Miami and owns a 5.91 ERA across 10.2 innings with Jacksonville this year. He'll likely fill a middle-relief role with the Marlins.

Lynch was optioned to Triple-A Omaha after Thursday's 7-6 loss to the Twins.

The southpaw was brought up to the majors as a spot starter for Brady Singer (illness) and yielded two earned runs and a pair of homers across five innings Thursday against the Twins. Lynch has been reliable in his 12 big-league innings this season with just those two earned runs allowed, but he'll likely remain at the Triple-A level while the Royals' rotation is at or near full health.

Kansas City recalled Klein from Triple-A Omaha on Friday.

The 24-year-old righty will rejoin the Royals after being optioned down in late April, while southpaw Daniel Lynch gets sent down to Omaha in a corresponding move. Klein has seen just one inning with Kansas City this year and logged two strikeouts with no runs allowed.

The Rays selected Sterner's contract from Triple-A Durham on Friday.

The right-hander has a 3.60 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 33:8 K:BB over 25 innings for Durham this year to earn his first taste of the big leagues. Sterner should fill a low-leverage bullpen role for the Rays.

Gallegos (shoulder) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Memphis on Friday.

Gallegos has been on the shelf since early May with a right shoulder impingement but has shown enough progress in recent live batting practice sessions that he's been cleared for game action. The veteran reliever had allowed 12 runs over nine innings before getting hurt, so the Cardinals could slow-play his rehab assignment to make sure he's sharp before being activated.

Brewer (back) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Iowa on Friday, Tony Andracki of Marquee Sports Network reports.

Brewer has missed the last couple weeks with a lower-back injury. Because he hasn't been sidelined long, his rehab assignment figures to be brief. Brewer has posted a 3.09 ERA and 12:4 K:BB over 11.2 innings with the Cubs this season.

Ferrer (shoulder) recently extended his throwing distance from flat ground to 120 feet, MLB.com reports.

Ferrer has been making slow progress in his recovery from a teres major strain in his left shoulder, an injury that first cropped up during spring training. He's been limited to playing catch for nearly a month, though he could soon be ready to resume throwing off a mound. Ferrer is likely at least a couple of weeks from heading out on a minor-league rehab assignment and probably won't be a realistic option to return from the 60-day injured list until the second half of June.

The Mets recalled Nunez from Triple-A Syracuse on Friday, Joel Sherman of the New York Post reports.

Nunez has allowed three runs while boasting a 13:3 K:BB over 8.1 innings out of the Mets' bullpen this season. He will operate in middle relief.

Ferguson (0-1) was charged with the loss against the Rays in extra innings Thursday, allowing an unearned run across 1.1 hitless innings. He struck out one.

Ferguson entered the game in the 11th with the score knotted at 5-5 and retired the side in order before returning for the 12th and inducing an inning-opening groundout that moved phantom runner Jose Caballero to third base. T.J. McFarland subsequently allowed Caballero to cross the plate on Richie Palacios' walk-off single, saddling Ferguson with the loss. The right-hander did at least bounce back from a rocky outing Wednesday, one that had seen him allow a run on three hits over two-thirds of an inning. Ferguson is likely to continue seeing work primarily in lower-leverage scenarios, and he holds a 4.50 ERA and 1.40 WHIP over his nine appearances this season.
