Covey signed a one-year contract with the Phillies on Friday, avoiding arbitration.

Covey was claimed off waivers from the Dodgers this past May and went on to deliver a solid 3.69 ERA across 39 innings of work with Philly. He projects to fill a long-relief role in 2024.

Akin (back) avoided arbitration with the Orioles on Friday, signing a one-year, $825,000 contract, Jon Heyman of the New York Post reports.

Akin missed the second half of the 2023 season due to a lingering back injury and posted an ugly 6.85 ERA in 23.2 innings when healthy, but the O's clearly believe he'll be able to return to form next year. The left-hander delivered a 3.20 ERA and 77:20 K:BB over 81.2 innings as a bullpen workhorse for Baltimore in 2022.

Almonte signed a one-year, $1.9 million contract with the Dodgers on Friday, avoiding arbitration, Jon Heyman of the New York Post reports.

Almonte regressed last season following his dominant first year with the Dodgers in 2022, but $1.9 million is a drop in the bucket for Los Angeles. He should be part of the Opening Day bullpen mix in 2024.

Borucki signed a one-year, $1.6 million contract with the Pirates on Friday to avoid arbitration, Mark Feinsand of MLB.com reports.

Borucki gets a well-deserved raise after delivering a 2.45 ERA, 0.74 WHIP and 33:4 K:BB over 40.1 innings with Pittsburgh in 2023. He projects to operate in a setup role in 2024.

Beeks signed a one-year, $1.675 million contract with the Rockies on Friday, avoiding arbitration, Jon Heyman of the New York Post reports.

Beeks was claimed off waivers from the Rays earlier this month and is now locked into a guaranteed salary for the 2024 season. The 30-year-old left-hander holds a career 4.38 ERA with 274 strikeouts in 277.2 major-league innings and seems likely to operate in a swingman role with his new club.

Foster (elbow) signed a one-year, $750,000 contract with the White Sox on Friday, avoiding arbitration.

The 28-year-old right-hander will make just north of the MLB minimum salary in 2024. Foster's expected to spend the first half of the season continuing his recovery from Tommy John surgery.

Henriquez was non-tendered by the Twins on Friday, MLB.com reports.

The 23-year-old righty threw 11.2 innings in the majors in 2022 but he didn't reach the majors last season. Henriquez had an 18.7 percent strikeout rate and a 13.7 percent walk rate in 57 innings at Triple-A.

Mills was non-tendered by the Red Sox on Friday, Chris Cotillo of The Springfield Republican reports.

Mills, now a free agent, will be sidelined for much of the 2024 season after requiring Tommy John surgery on his right elbow this past July.

Moran (forearm) was non-tendered by the Twins on Friday, MLB.com reports.

Moran landed on the injured list in late August with a forearm strain. He logged a 5.31 ERA, 1.46 WHIP and 48 strikeouts in 42.1 innings with the big club.

Abreu was non-tendered by the Yankees on Friday.

The 28-year-old right-hander will head into free agency after registering a 4.73 ERA, 1.48 WHIP and 61:35 K:BB across 59 innings of relief for New York in 2023.
