Perez (9-4) earned the win in relief Monday against the Mets, firing two scoreless innings during which he recorded two strikeouts.

Perez had struggled mightily in his prior two appearances, allowing six runs on nine hits over 6.1 innings. He was sharp Monday, however, firing 19 of his 27 pitches for strikes in relief of Jon Gray to earn his ninth win. Since moving to the bullpen earlier this month, Perez sports a 4.76 ERA across 11.1 innings. Overall, his ERA sits at 4.96 with a 1.49 WHIP and 75:44 K:BB across 119.2 innings this season. The 32-year-old southpaw should continue to work in a swingman role for the Rangers down the stretch.

Greinke (1-13) took the loss against Pittsburgh on Monday, allowing two runs on six hits and two walks while striking out two batters over 4.2 innings.

Greinke came out of the bullpen in a bulk-relief role his last time out due to the fact he was coming off an IL stint with an elbow injury and didn't log any rehab appearances. The veteran was back working as a traditional starter Monday, though he may have still been moderately limited since he threw only 76 pitches. Greinke didn't pitch particularly poorly, giving up just two runs over his 4.2 frames, but he was still tagged with the loss since the Royals were shut out by Pirates starter Johan Oviedo. It's been a rough campaign for Greinke in his 19th big-league season -- he's tied for second in the league with 13 losses (only teammate Jordan Lyles has more) and has picked up only one victory while registering a poor 5.28 ERA and 1.27 WHIP over 119.1 innings.

Muller (1-5) allowed six runs on nine hits and three walks while striking out six over four innings, taking the loss Monday versus the Mariners.

Muller couldn't cool the Mariners' hot bats, instead suffering one of his worst outings of the year. This was just the second time he's given up multiple homers in a game this season, and the six runs allowed matched his season high. Muller is now at a 7.67 ERA, 1.96 WHIP and 49:33 K:BB through 63.1 innings over 14 appearances (12 starts). The Athletics' rotation is likely to remain a bit beat up into September, but it's unclear if that will be enough to earn Muller another start with Mason Miller (elbow) potentially available by the weekend if his rehab outing Tuesday goes smoothly.

Festa was promoted to Triple-A Rochester on Monday, the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.

Festa had a 4.39 ERA at Double-A Wichita but had a strong 11.7 K/BB and 3.11 FIP. He's one of Minnesota's top pitching prospects, so a strong final few starts at Triple-A could put him on the cusp of competing for a big-league job next spring.

Woo (2-3) allowed three hits and a walk while striking out five over six shutout innings to earn the win Monday over the Athletics.

Woo earned his fourth quality start of the year, including his second in three outings, with this gem. The right-hander was efficient in throwing 45 of 69 pitches for strikes. He's at a 4.15 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 68:19 K:BB through 65 innings over 13 starts this season. The Mariners may take it easy with Woo down the stretch, though it's unknown if they have the rookie on a pitch count from start-to-start or an innings limit for the season. He's tentatively lined up to make his next start on the road versus the Mets this weekend.

Giolito (7-11) took the loss Monday, allowing five runs on four hits and four walks over 5.2 innings in a 6-4 loss against the Phillies. He struck out six.

All of Giolito's earned runs came via the long ball, as the Phillies took him deep three times Monday. In six starts since becoming an Angel on July 26, the big right-hander has gone 1-5 with a 6.89 ERA, 1.47 WHIP and 34:15 K:BB across 32.2 innings. His next start is tentatively scheduled to come in Oakland over the weekend.

Sale allowed three runs on seven hits and two walks over 4.2 innings in Monday's loss to Houston. He struck out six and did not factor in the decision.

Sale failed to complete five innings for the third time since returning from the injured list Aug. 11. During that span, he's registered a 5.30 ERA across 18.2 frames in four starts. He's now sporting a 4.75 ERA with a 96:21 K:BB through 15 outings this season. Sale's next start is lined up to be in Kansas City this weekend.

Gray did not factor into the decision Monday, allowing three runs on four hits and a walk over six innings against the Mets. He struck out nine.

It was a strong bounce-back performance from Gray after he surrendered five runs in a loss to Arizona in his last outing. His nine strikeouts were the most he's had in a game since June 7. Overall, Gray has an 8-7 record with a 3.79 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 120:45 K:BB across 24 starts (137.2 innings) this season. He's currently lined up for a home matchup with the Twins this weekend in his next start.

Urquidy pitched out of the bullpen in Monday's 13-5 win over the Red Sox, earning his first career save after allowing one run on four hits and two walks over four innings. He struck out one batter.

Urquidy has now been used out of the bullpen in two of his last three appearances, though the Astros haven't yet confirmed that the rotation is being condensed from six to five men. After Cristian Javier labored through four innings, Urquidy ended up being called upon to effectively piggyback him. Urquidy threw 57 pitches and forced seven swinging strikes en route to picking up the save. He now owns a 5.21 ERA and a 36:18 K:BB through 46.2 frames, and those poor numbers along with the uncertainty regarding his role make him difficult to justify holding outside of deeper leagues or AL-only formats.

Javier allowed four runs on six hits and six walks over four-plus innings in Monday's win over Boston. He struck out four and did not factor in the decision.

Javier coughed up two runs in the first inning followed by Adam Duvall's two-run shot in the fifth. Over his last 11 starts, Javier has produced an unsightly 7.46 ERA and 43:32 K:BB. His season ERA has jumped to 4.66 across 131.1 innings. Javier's next outing is lined up to be on the road against the Rangers next week.
